You have to repeat so many tasks day after day. This monotony can dull your thinking until your mind slips into neutral. A mind that is unfocused is vulnerable to “the world, the flesh, and the devil,” all of which exert a downward pull on your thoughts. As your thinking processes deteriorate, you become increasingly confused and directionless. The best remedy is to refocus your mind and heart on GOD, your constant Companion. Even the most confusing day opens up before you as you go step by step with GOD. HIS Presence goes with you wherever you go, providing Light for your path.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to spend time with you for the pure pleasure of being in your company. Thank you for brightening up the dullest of gray days and helping me to refocus my mind and heart on you today, my constant companion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Does your heart want to do good? Of course but we are surrounded by corruption, the grace that Jesus has for us lets us move through the mistakes we make and into the glory of God. Prayer: Lord, I release my loved ones to you. You know the ones I tend to hold onto a bit too tight. They are safest in your capable hands, which frees my hand to cling to yours. Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Sin has consequences and those who truly know the Lord understand that, those who do not know the Lord live frivolously and do whatever pleases them. This proverb is crystal clear if you know the Lord! Justice is consequences for what has been done and if you truly know the Lord you know better than to commit the act. Prayer: Lord, help me to view trials as opportunities to develop my trust muscles in you. When I start to feel anxious or afraid, help me speak the name of Jesus and remember I am Heaven bound. Everything else is preparation for eternity with you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
