Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. ‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬ :‭ 11‬ NLT

Like Paul we should always be content in the current situation we are in. Paul lived a life that by today’s standards would be all over the map, he killed Christians, arrested the Christians, but yet GOD called him in the highest way. Today I pray that we would all be content with where we are, not complacent but content because GOD has a greater plan for us ……. Be Blessed!

“BE PREPARED TO SUFFER FOR GOD, in HIS Name. All suffering has meaning in The LORD’S kingdom. Pain and problems are opportunities to demonstrate your trust in GOD. Bearing your circumstances bravely—even thanking GOD for them—is one of the highest forms of praise. This sacrifice of thanksgiving rings golden-toned bells of Joy throughout heavenly realms. On earth also, your patient suffering sends out ripples of good tidings in ever-widening circles. When suffering strikes, remember that GOD is sovereign and that The LORD can bring good out of everything. Do not try to run from pain or hide from problems. Instead, accept adversity in The LORD’S Name, offering it up to GOD for HIS purposes. Thus, your suffering gains meaning and draws you closer to GOD. Joy emerges from the ashes of adversity through your trust and thankfulness.”

Scripture

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. JAMES 1 : 2 – 4 

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy. PSALM 107 : 21 – 22 

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, when I face pain or hardship, help me to trust You instead of running from it. Teach me to offer my struggles to You with a thankful heart, believing You can bring good from every trial and fill me with your joy even in the midst of suffering. Amen.

Just as GOD sees no measure of sin HE also shows no favoritism. It has always amazed me how GOD has the same love for me as he does a mass murderer!!! Wow, think of that one. GOD wants all of HIS creation to know HIM and in the end not perish. Today’s prayer is that we would understand the fullness of GOD’S love and strive to show that same love and mercy to all ……. “TAKE TIME TO BE STILL in GOD’S Presence. The more hassled you feel, the more you need this sacred space of communion with GOD. Breathe slowly and deeply. Relax in The LORD’S Holy Presence while HIS Face shines upon you. This is how you receive The LORD’S Peace, which HE always proffers to you. Imagine the pain GOD feels when HIS children tie themselves up in anxious knots, ignoring The LORD’S gift of Peace. The LORD, JESUS CHRIST died a criminal’s death to secure this blessing for you. Receive it gratefully; hide it in your heart. GOD’S Peace is an inner treasure, growing within you as you trust in The LORD. Therefore, circumstances cannot touch it. Be still, enjoying Peace in GOD’S Presence.”

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to make time to be still in your presence. I desperately need this time with you each day so you can fill me with your peace, your promises, and your perspective. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Galatians‬ ‭5‬ :‭ 16 – 17

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. ‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬ :‭ 16 – 17‬ NLT

Need direction? Always trying to do better but seem to stay the same? This scripture says to let the Holy Spirit direct you and then you won’t be caught in the sinful nature. Today I pray we all would let the Holy Spirit direct our paths and see how life becomes more fulfilling ……. Be Blessed

“TRUST GOD ENOUGH to let things happen without striving to predict or control them. Relax, and refresh yourself in the Light of GOD’S everlasting Love. GOD’S Love-Light never dims, yet you are often unaware of HIS radiant Presence. When you project yourself into the future, rehearsing what you will do or say, you are seeking to be self-sufficient: to be adequate without The LORD’S help. This is a subtle sin — so common that it usually slips by unnoticed. The alternative is to live fully in the present, depending on The LORD each moment. Rather than fearing your inadequacy, rejoice in GOD’S abundant supply. Train your mind to seek GOD’S help continually, even when you feel competent to handle something by yourself. Don’t divide your life into things you can do by yourself and things that require The LORD’S help. Instead, learn to rely on GOD in every situation. This discipline will enable you to enjoy life more and to face each day confidently.”

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me to stop trying to control all the details and instead trust You with my future. Teach me to live fully in the present. Help me train my mind to seek your help continuously and to rely on you in every situation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians 3 : 13 – 14

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3 : 13 – 14 NKJV

Yesterday is gone and today is here, memory is a powerful thing but look, you made it to today. The circumstances that hinder you need to be forgotten, the promise of Jesus Christ needs to be remembered, Paul says “press forward” meaning through every trial keep moving towards The Lord for HE is our strength. Today I pray we would all have peace in the promise that Jesus Christ gives us and we would all press forward to the ultimate prize in Heaven ……….. Be Blessed

‭‭James‬ ‭1 : 14 – 15‬

“Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1 : 14 – 15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Temptation is not the sin, what giving into the temptation produces is sin. We are tempted in many different ways daily and I believe our closeness to GOD determines how we react to temptation. Today’s prayer is that our relationship would be so strong with GOD that temptation has no impact ……. Be Blessed

Do you take credit for all you do? Do you boast about your accomplishments? Well this is the definition of self worth!!! Jesus Christ himself never boasted about what HE did in HIS whole ministry. Why should we? Are we greater than Jesus Christ ? Uhhhh NO!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would glorify GOD when we get a small paycheck, when we fall short of our goal, when we miss the mark (which we do everyday), when we think we did it!!!! Be Blessed and thank God in everything good and bad
