Revelation ‭3 ‬: ‭20

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation ‭3 ‬: ‭20‬ NLT

Do you hear that knock? Are you always ready for fellowship with Jesus? Or are we so wrapped up in our daily lives that we ignore that knock? Today’s prayer is that at all times we are taking the time to fellowship with the Lord, turn off the phone, TV, etc and fellowship with the Lord. It’s the best part of the day …….. Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17

WHEN THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST JOINED THE RANKS of humanity, born into the humblest conditions, The LORD’S Glory was hidden from all but a few people – JOHN 2 : 11, LUKE 23 : 35 – 36, PSALM 92 : 1 – 5

“WHEN THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST JOINED THE RANKS of humanity, born into the humblest conditions, The LORD’S Glory was hidden from all but a few people. Occasionally, streaks of Glory shone out of JESUS CHRIST, especially when HE began to do miracles. Toward the end of HIS life, The LORD was taunted and tempted to display more of HIS awesome Power than HIS Father’s plan permitted. The LORD could have called down legions of angels to rescue HIM at any point. Imagine the self-control required of a martyr who could free Himself at will! All of this was necessary to provide the relationship with GOD that you now enjoy. Let your life become a praise song to The LORD by proclaiming GOD’S glorious Presence in the world.”

Scripture

This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. JOHN 2 : 11

The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar. . . . LUKE 23 : 35 – 36

Prayer

It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of youI’m r hands. How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! PSALM 92 : 1 – 5

Prayer: Father, let my life be a praise song to you and your light shine brightly through me. Don’t let me miss Your sacrifice this Christmas season. Help me to simplify my activities and traditions so I can focus my celebration on Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90 : 12‬

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90 : 12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have a day that we will meet the Lord, are you living life with a just get by attitude or are you living life to the fullest for God? Today’s prayer is that we would approach every day with thanks and with a heart to serve the Lord with all our heart …….. Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17

Isaiah‬ ‭53 : 3‬

“He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.” Isaiah‬ ‭53 : 3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you ever feel unappreciated? Do you do good and still get grief from some people? Well Jesus lived this life and are we greater than him? Jesus spent his whole life doing good for others and they still put him on the cross. Today’s prayer is that we would understand that when we do good it’s because of the love of God that is in us and when we get grief it is just part of the deal …… Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17

1 Peter‬ ‭2 ‬: ‭9

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. ‭1 Peter‬ ‭2 ‬: ‭9‬ NLT

Isn’t it nice to know that this is how God feels about us, He loves us so much that we are his chosen people. The world says hold your own and watch out for number one but as God’s chosen people we should show the same love and compassion as He does. Today I pray that we all would show that same love, as hard as it is, remember the mercy and grace that we have been given …… Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17

DO NOT BE WEIGHED DOWN by the clutter in your life: lots of little chores to do sometime, in no particular order. – PROVERBS 16 : 3, MATTHEW 6 : 33

“DO NOT BE WEIGHED DOWN by the clutter in your life: lots of little chores to do sometime, in no particular order. If you focus too much on these petty tasks, trying to get them all out of the way, you will discover that they are endless. They can eat up as much time as you devote to them. Instead of trying to do all your chores at once, choose the ones that need to be done today. Let the rest slip into the background of your mind, so GOD can be in the forefront of your awareness. Remember that your ultimate goal is living close to GOD, being responsive to HIS initiatives. The LORD can communicate with you most readily when your mind is uncluttered and turned toward HIM. Seek GOD’S Face continually throughout this day. Let THE LORD’S Presence bring order to your thoughts, infusing Peace into your entire being.”

Scripture

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. PROVERBS 16 : 3

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” MATTHEW 6 : 33

Prayer

Prayer: Lord as I spend time with you, order my thoughts and infuse your peace into my spirit. Let peace, love and joy overflow in and through me today by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalms‬ ‭1 : 6‬

“For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭1 : 6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God knows your good deeds, your every move. Have you ever felt like you always do the right thing but are mocked by friends, co-workers? This is the persecution Jesus spoke about as believers. One of the hardest things to do is to let your light shine in the midst of persecution but when we do I’m sure it puts a big smile on God’s face. Today’s prayer is that we would only value the ways of the Lord and realize all the other stuff is just stuff……Be Blessed

WHEN YOU ARE PLAGUED by a persistent problem—one that goes on and on—view it as a rich opportunity. – ISAIAH 30 : 20 – 21, 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 17

“WHEN YOU ARE PLAGUED by a persistent problem—one that goes on and on—view it as a rich opportunity. An ongoing problem is like a tutor who is always by your side. The learning possibilities are limited only by your willingness to be teachable. In faith, thank GOD for your problem. Ask GOD to open your eyes and your heart to all that HE is accomplishing through this difficulty. Once you have become grateful for a problem, it loses its power to drag you down. On the contrary, your thankful attitude will lift you up into heavenly places with GOD. From this perspective, your difficulty can be seen as a slight, temporary distress that is producing for you a transcendent Glory never to cease!”

Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” ISAIAH 30 : 20 – 21

For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 17

Prayer: God open my eyes and my heart to see all that you are accomplishing through difficulties in my life. An ongoing problem is like a tutor always by my side. Help me to find the lesson each day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Peter‬ ‭3 : ‭8 ‬- ‭9

“Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3 : ‭8 ‬- ‭9‬ ‭

It’s so easy to throw that stone isn’t it? Why don’t we sympathize knowing we do the same thing? God has called us to bless and be blessed so why do we not do it? Answer THIS WORLD!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would be who The LORD called us to be. Humble, Tender Hearted, Sympathetic , and of one mind, treat everyone how you would like to be treated and love one another as God loves us all ….. Be Blessed

COME TO GOD with your gaping emptiness, knowing that in GOD you are complete. – 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 6, MATTHEW 5 : 3 & 6, COLOSSIANS 2 : 9 – 10, PSALM 150 : 6

“COME TO GOD with your gaping emptiness, knowing that in GOD you are complete. As you rest quietly in The LORD’S Presence, HIS Light within you grows brighter and brighter. Facing the emptiness inside you is simply the prelude to being filled with GOD’S fullness. Therefore, rejoice on those days when you drag yourself out of bed, feeling sluggish and inadequate. Tell yourself that this is a perfect day to depend on The LORD in childlike trust. If you persevere in this dependence as you go through the day, you will discover at bedtime that Joy and Peace have become your companions. You may not realize at what point they joined you on your journey, but you will feel the beneficial effects of their presence. The perfect end to such a day is a doxology of gratitude. GOD IS HE from whom all blessings flow!”

Scripture

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 6

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. . . . Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” MATTHEW 5 : 3 & 6

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. COLOSSIANS 2 : 9 – 10

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. PSALM 150 : 6

Prayer

Prayer: Lord during this busy Christmas season help me to make time to rest quietly in your presence letting you fill me with joy and peace and strength. On days I feel I’m lacking, remind me this is a perfect day to depend on you in childlike trust. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
