HOPE is a golden cord connecting you to heaven – ROMANS 12 : 12, 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 8, HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 19

“HOPE is a golden cord connecting you to heaven. This cord helps you hold your head up high, even when multiple trials are buffeting you. GOD never leaves your side, and GOD never lets go of your hand. But without the cord of hope, your head may slump and your feet may shuffle as you journey uphill with The LORD. Hope lifts your perspective from your weary feet to the glorious view you can see from the high road. You are reminded that the road you are traveling together with GOD is ultimately a highway to heaven. When you consider this radiant destination, the roughness or smoothness of the road ahead becomes much less significant. GOD is training you to hold in your heart a dual focus: GOD’S continual Presence and the hope of heaven.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ROMANS 12 : 12

But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 8

God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 19

Prayer: God thank you for the hope of Heaven. Help me to have an eternal perspective this week, remembering what matters most – loving you and loving others. No matter what comes my way this week I am not alone because you are always with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9-11

I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ —for this will bring much glory and praise to God. (‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9-11‬ NLT)

How are you reacting to situations that catch you off guard? Are you being led by a loving God, or by a worldly reaction? We as believers need to strive to be like Jesus in our every moment. Today I pray that we would ask God for the knowledge to fit every reaction and handle them as Christ did…..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭35

Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. (‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭35‬ NLT)

Friends this scripture is so simple and short but ever so powerful!!!!! All that is around us is temporary. The word of God is our instruction manual and every word in the bible is truth. There are a lot of churches out there teaching the scripture totally out of context!!!! My prayer today is that you would read your bible (all of it) and understand by the spirit what God is speaking to us, there is a powerful message in every word for each of us…… Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

THANKFULNESS OPENS THE DOOR to GOD’S Presence

“THANKFULNESS OPENS THE DOOR to GOD’S Presence. Though GOD is always with you, GOD has gone to great measures to preserve your freedom of choice. GOD has placed a door between you and HIM, and The LORD has empowered you to open or close that door. There are many ways to open it, but a grateful attitude is one of the most effective. Thankfulness is built on a substructure of trust. When thankful words stick in your throat, you need to check up on your foundation of trust. When thankfulness flows freely from your heart and lips, let your gratitude draw you closer to The LORD. GOD wants you to learn the art of giving thanks in all circumstances. See how many times you can thank GOD daily; this will awaken your awareness to a multitude of blessings. It will also cushion the impact of trials when they come against you. Practice GOD’S Presence by practicing the discipline of thankfulness.” – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. PSALM 100 : 4

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

Prayer: Lord thank you for your goodness. No matter what happens I can look at life through the lens that you are always good. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to due for my sins so I can be in a right relationship with you for eternity. Your grateful child. Amen.

GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

“GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Men crawl through their lives cursing the darkness, but all the while GOD is shining brightly. GOD desires each of HIS followers to be a Light-bearer. The Holy Spirit who lives in you can shine from your face, making The LORD visible to people around you. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to live through you, as you wend your way through this day. Hold GOD’S hand in joyful trust, for HE never leaves your side. The Light of GOD’S Presence is shining upon you. Brighten up the world by reflecting who GOD is.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” JOHN 8 : 12

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 5 : 14 – 16

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” EXODUS 3 : 14

Prayer: Holy Spirit live through me today. Shine your light on me and allow me to brighten up the world and reflect who you are. May the world be filled with light-bearers. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

FIND FREEDOM through seeking to please GOD above all else. EPHESIANS 5 : 8 – 10, MATTHEW 23 : 8, MATTHEW 6 : 1

“FIND FREEDOM through seeking to please GOD above all else. You can have only one Master. When you let others’ expectations drive you, you scatter your energy to the winds. Your own desire to look good can also drain your energy. GOD is your Master, and HE does not drive you to be what you are not. Your pretense displeases GOD, especially when it is in GOD’S “service.” Concentrate on staying close to GOD at all times. It is impossible to be inauthentic while you are focusing on GOD’S Presence.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. EPHESIANS 5 : 8 – 10

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one Master and you are all brothers.” MATTHEW 23 : 8

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 6 : 1

Prayer: Lord help me to find freedom in seeking to please you above all else. Help me to concentrate on staying close to you. And allow everything else to fall into place. Fill me with your joy and peace. And help me to be genuine in everything I say and do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

II Timothy 1:8-9

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, (II Timothy 1:8-9 NKJV)

Oh to be like Paul was, this should be our prayers. The revelation that was given to Paul was incredible and the fact that he wrote it for us to have is even better. Paul was saying never, ever, ever be ashamed of the words of Jesus stand strong and take the ridicule. Paul understood that we were saved not by our works but by Grace. God is not interested in our religious acts, he I interested in our hearts, knowing that under all circumstances that we glorify him and his son. Self check, are you glorifying him in all situations? My prayer for all is to see through any situation and give God all the glory, for we are saved by grace not by our works…………

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new

Daily Devotional Video 7/21/2020 – PROVERBS 3 : 5, Isaiah 30:15

“REST IN GOD’S PRESENCE WHEN you need refreshment. Resting is not necessarily idleness, as people often perceive it. When you relax in GOD’S company, you are demonstrating trust in GOD. Trust is a rich word, laden with meaning and direction for your life. GOD wants you to lean on, trust, and be confident in HIM. When you lean on GOD for support, HE delights in your trusting confidence. Many people turn away from GOD when they are exhausted. They associate GOD with duty and diligence, so they try to hide from The LORD’S Presence when they need a break from work. How this saddens The LORD! As GOD spoke through HIS prophet Isaiah: In returning to GOD and resting in GOD you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5 (AMP)

For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved;in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.
But you were unwilling, Isaiah 30:15

Prayer: Lord help me to lean on and trust in you for my rest and refreshment. When I’m with you, let it be a relaxing and peaceful time. May your word fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in you, so that I will overflow with hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 7/20/2020 – PSALM 42 : 1 – 2 , PSALM 34 : 5, PHILIPPIANS 2 : 15

“SEEK GOD’S FACE, and you will find all that you have longed for. The deepest yearnings of your heart are for intimacy with GOD. GOD knows, because HE designed you to desire HIM. Do not feel guilty about taking time to be still in GOD’S Presence. You are simply responding to the tugs of divinity within you. GOD made you in HIS image, and HE hid heaven in your heart. Your yearning for The LORD is a form of homesickness: longing for your true home in heaven. Do not be afraid to be different from other people. The path GOD has called you to travel is exquisitely right for you. The more closely you follow GOD leading, the more fully GOD can develop your gifts. To follow GOD wholeheartedly, you must relinquish your desire to please other people. However, your closeness to GOD will bless others by enabling you to shine brightly in this dark world.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? PSALM 42 : 1 – 2

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. PSALM 34 : 5

. . . so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 15

Prayer: Lord help me to take time to be still each day in your presence. It is there I find true rest and refreshment for my soul. As the dear pants for steams of water, so my soul pants for you. Help me to fill myself with you and you alone. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)

In our daily lives the world controls our fears. The word of God states just Believe!!!!! So today trust God in all things trust what the word says and see Gods love for you…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 :17
