Ephesians‬ ‭5:7-8‬

“Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light” Ephesians‬ ‭5:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s so easy to get caught up in the ways of the world on a daily basis but that is not who we are. This scripture tells us that we once were doomed but now we are saved!!!! Let’s act like it. Today’s prayer is that we would live a life that is pleasing to God and guard against our old ways……. Be Blessed

Before you knew GOD, you expressed your longing for HIM in hurtful ways. You were ever so vulnerable to the evil around you in the world. But now The LORD’S Presence safely shields you, enfolding you in GOD’S loving arms. The LORD has lifted you out of darkness into HIS marvelous Light. Though GOD has brought many pleasures into your life, not one of them is essential. Receive The LORD’S blessings with open hands. Enjoy GOD’S good gifts, but do not cling to them. Turn your attention to the Giver of all good things, and rest in the knowledge that you are complete in The LORD. The one thing you absolutely need is the one thing you can never lose: GOD’S Presence with you.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your presence with me at all times. You never leave me therefore I am never alone. You are my rock and my salvation. My hope is in you alone. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Reality check WE ARE SINNERS!!!!! Even though we are saved we are sinners. To sin is to do something against God, gossip, anger, worry, curse, lie, etc. The Cross redeemed us from damnation but we bring our own condemnation on by these actions !!!! Today’s prayer is that we would all look to the Cross anytime these temptations come upon us and thank Jesus for the freedom we truly have…….. Be Blessed and always look to the Cross

GOD’S Love-Light never dims, yet you are often unaware of HIS radiant Presence. When you project yourself into the future, rehearsing what you will do or say, you are seeking to be self-sufficient: to be adequate without The LORD’S help. This is a subtle sin—so common that it usually slips by unnoticed. The alternative is to live fully in the present, depending on The LORD each moment. Rather than fearing your inadequacy, rejoice in GOD’S abundant supply. Train your mind to seek GOD’s help continually, even when you feel competent to handle something by yourself. Don’t divide your life into things you can do by yourself and things that require The LORD’s help. Instead, learn to rely on GOD in every situation. This discipline will enable you to enjoy life more and to face each day confidently.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me to refresh myself in your presence and walk hand in hand with you through the day, depending on you each moment. You are my rock, my shield, my comforter. In you I have all I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“IN ORDER TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE, you must release all your worries into GOD’S care. Entrust to GOD everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek The LORD’s Face unhindered. Let The LORD free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in GOD’S Presence, allowing The LORD’s Light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you. Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that GOD is sovereign over your life. Rejoice in this day that The LORD has made, trusting that GOD is abundantly present in it. Instead of regretting or resenting the way things are, thank The LORD in all circumstances. Trust GOD and don’t be fearful; thank GOD and rest in HIS sovereignty.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I long to hear your voice. Help me to release all my worries to you so I can free up my heart to hear your still small voice. Your presence is far greater than anything you give me. Help me to sit quietly with you, experiencing all of you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Is prayer your first choice or your last resort? Are you looking for help everywhere and when it doesn’t show up you say ” well all I can do now is pray” you have it totally backwards!!!!!! The bible says Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanksgiving and prayer. Well today I pray that our response to everything would be in prayer and thanksgiving ……. Be Blessed and Pray Hard

Jesus said he gave us perfect unity so that our witness will be different from the world, how is your witness working out? Do you respond to situations like someone who doesn’t know Jesus? Or do you respond with the values of the promise he gave us? Today I pray that our responses would be filled with faith and on the foundation of God’s living word and promise…..Be Blessed

“BE WILLING TO FOLLOW wherever GOD leads. Follow GOD wholeheartedly, with glad anticipation quickening your pace. Though you don’t know what lies ahead, GOD knows; and that is enough! Some of GOD’S richest blessings are just around the bend: out of sight, but nonetheless very real. To receive these gifts, you must walk by faith-—not by sight. This doesn’t mean closing your eyes to what is all around you. It means subordinating the visible world to the invisible Shepherd of your soul. Sometimes The LORD leads you up a high mountain with only HIS hand to support you. The higher you climb, the more spectacular the view becomes; also, the more keenly you sense your separation from the world with all its problems. This frees you to experience exuberantly the joyous reality of GOD’s Presence. Give yourself fully to these Glory-moments, awash in dazzling Light. GOD will eventually lead you down the mountain, back into community with others. Let The LORD’s Light continue to shine within you as you walk among people again.”

Prayer
