I love the way this translation explains it, basically be nice to all and put God first in everything!!!!! The Bible has laid out instructions for our lives, it is so easy to get tangled up in the things of the world, but when God is first it becomes clear on how to handle circumstances. Today I pray that it would be this simple to translate for us, treat all equally, love with all you have, don’t be so hard on yourself, and most important PUT GOD FIRST…….Be Blessed

Prayer: Lord help me to have an awakened soul that gets thrilled about being in your presence. And this advent season help me to cultivate a hope as I anticipate Christ’s coming – both in celebration of his birth and in the promise of his return. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Do you find yourself striving for greatness? And to what measure are you striving for? God has called us to live a life that is pleasing to him, pressing forward to the goal of bringing heaven to earth. Today’s prayer is that we would strive for greatness in God’s eyes not the world’s, that we would be seeking approval from God not man In Jesus name be blessed

“LET GOD’S PRESENCE override everything you experience. Like a luminous veil of Light, GOD hovers over you and everything around you. The LORD is training you to stay conscious of HIM in each situation you encounter. When the patriarch Jacob ran away from his enraged brother, he went to sleep on a stone pillow in a land that seemed desolate. But after dreaming about heaven and angels and promises of GOD’S Presence, he awoke and exclaimed: “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” His discovery was not only for him but for all who seek The LORD. Whenever you feel distant from GOD, say: “Surely the Lord is in this place!” Then, ask GOD to give you awareness of HIS Presence. This is a prayer that The LORD delights to answer.”

Prayer: God thank you for being in this place, no matter where I am, there you are. Thank you for always being there, always guiding, always watching over me. “Surely the Lord is in this place!” In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭James‬ ‭4:8

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” ‭‭James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

To draw near to God is to seek him in all you do. God draws near to those who seek to be more like his son in all they do. Being a double minded person is to say one thing and do another, who are you? Today’s prayer is that we would seek Gods ways in all we do,say, and are……..Be Blessed

“GOD’S THOUGHTS are not your thoughts; neither are your ways HIS ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are GOD’S ways and thoughts higher than yours. Remember who GOD is when you spend time with HIM. Marvel at the wonder of being able to commune with the King of the universe—any time, any place. Never take this amazing privilege for granted! Though GOD is vastly higher and greater than you, The LORD is training you to think HIS thoughts. As you spend time in The LORD’S Presence, HIS thoughts gradually form in your mind. GOD’S Holy Spirit is the Director of this process. Sometimes The Holy Spirit brings Bible verses to mind. Sometimes He enables you to hear GOD “speak” directly to you. These communications strengthen you and prepare you for whatever is before you on your life-path. Take time to listen to GOD’S voice. Through your sacrifice of precious time, The LORD blesses you far more than you dare to ask.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me to spend time sitting in your presence each day. Allowing your thoughts to gradually form in my mind. Help me to prepare my heart to celebrate the birth of Jesus and anticipate the glorious day Jesus comes back again to take us home. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭1‬ NLT

When the going gets tough, God gets going. Trials come and go, some days seem to be filled with them and others do not. God is faithful through every situation are you? Today I pray that we would trust in the Lord in good times and bad, when things are great praise the Lord, when trials are at the worst, praise the Lord for the help that’s coming…….Be Blessed

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31-32‬ NLT

Are you waiting on some type of favor? Advancement? But it seems like it just won’t happen? This scripture tells us that God is always for us, that special something you are wanting may not be what God wants for you! Maybe he has something bigger and better. Luke‬ ‭23:34‬

“Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke‬ ‭23:34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

To his last breath Jesus was pleading the case for the sinner, hanging on the cross beaten and torn; he was asking the Father to forgive them for what they had done and were doing. Is there someone that you are holding unforgiveness against? If so, think of the words of Jesus from the cross. Today’s prayer is that we would forgive as Jesus did and not condemn those who persecute us but pray to the Father to forgive them…..There is power and freedom in forgiveness……..Be Blessed

Prayer

Prayer: Lord oh how important it is for my soul to be still in your presence. I need to feel you and experience your presence to weather the storms of life. Thank you for your compassion which is new every morning. Everyday you give me a clean slate because of Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
