“GOD IS CREATING something new in you: a bubbling spring of Joy that spills over into others’ lives. Do not mistake this Joy for your own or try to take credit for it in any way. Instead, watch in delight as GOD’S Holy Spirit flows through you to bless others. Let yourself become a reservoir of the Spirit’s fruit. Your part is to live close to GOD, open to all that HE is doing in you. Don’t try to control the streaming of GOD’S Holy Spirit through you. Just keep focusing on The LORD as we walk through this day together. Enjoy GOD’S Presence, which permeates you with Love, Joy, and Peace.”
“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” JOHN 3 : 8
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. GALATIANS 5 : 22
Prayer: Lord thank you when I saturate myself in you, you create a spring of joy in me that spills over into others lives. Help me enjoy and recognize your presence this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“YOU ARE GOD’S CHILD, REST IN HIM. Give your mind a break from planning and trying to anticipate what will happen. Pray continually, asking GOD’S Holy Spirit to take charge of the details of this day. Remember that you are on a journey with The LORD. When you try to peer into the future and plan for every possibility, you ignore your constant Companion who sustains you moment by moment. As you gaze anxiously into the distance, you don’t even feel the strong grip of GOD’S hand holding yours. How foolish you are! Oh GOD’S child! Remembrance of The LORD is a daily discipline. Never lose sight of GOD’S Presence with you. This will keep you resting in The LORD all day, every day.”
Pray continually. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 17
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. PSALM 62 : 5
Prayer: Oh Lord you are so good. Thank you for being my constant companion and holding my hand with your strong grip 24/7. Holy Spirit take charge of the details of my day. Remind me when I forget, to find rest for my soul in God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Word of the day For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Ephesians 2:8
I love this translation, it explains Grace to a Tee. I believe sometimes as Christians we forget that God’s grace is such a beautiful gift, sometimes we act like it’s our actions that create our peace. The fact of the matter is if not for grace we would be living a life of destruction! But by our faith in Jesus we now have become Sons and Daughters of God. Today’s prayer is that we would never stop thanking God for his Grace and live a life that is pleasing to him……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK TO LIVE IN GOD’S LOVE, which covers a multitude of sins: both yours and others’. Wear GOD’S Love like a cloak of Light, covering you from head to toe. Have no fear, for perfect Love decimates fear. Look at other people through lenses of Love; see them from GOD’S perspective. This is how you walk in the Light, and it pleases The LORD. GOD wants HIS Body of believers to be radiant with the Light of HIS Presence. How The LORD grieves when pockets of darkness increasingly dim the Love-Light. Return to GOD, your First Love! Gaze at The LORD in the splendor of holiness, and GOD’S Love will once again envelop you in Light.”
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 PETER 4 : 8
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 JOHN 4 : 1 8
Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. REVELATION 2 : 4
Prayer: Lord help me to look at other people through lenses of Love; to see them from Your perspective. Just as you have forgiven my sins, help me to pour out that same measure to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 – 12 NKJV
The world is trying to suck everyone into the drama, outside situations trying to consume your time and joy. This scripture says to mind your own business, and pay attention to your own. Loving one another is the greatest command, but you don’t have to love others’ problems…….today I pray for peace over all, that we would focus on our situations and not others …… Be blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill. Numbers 23:19 NIV
The Bible is full of God’s promises, he promised healing, prosperity, a joyful heart, that we can overcome any situation. When God says it you can do one of two things 1. Believe or 2. Not believe. Today I pray we would all meditate on God’s promises and let them manifest in our lives…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD WANTS YOU TO BE ALL HIS, filled with the Light of HIS Presence. Christ, The LORD gave everything for you by living as a man, then dying for your sins and living again. Hold back nothing from The LORD. Bring your most secret thoughts into the Light of HIS Love. Anything you bring to GOD HE transforms and cleanses from darkness. GOD knows everything about you, far more than you know of yourself. But GOD restrains HIS yearning to “fix” you, waiting instead for you to come to HIM for help. Imagine the divine restraint this requires, for The LORD has all Power in heaven and on earth. Seek GOD’S Face with a teachable spirit. Come into GOD’S Presence with thanksgiving, desiring to be transformed.”
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” MATTHEW 28 : 18
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. PSALM 100 : 4
Prayer: Jesus thank you for giving up your life to save mine. Help me to hold nothing back from you. To speak with you about everything and let you lead me and guide me because you see in full where I see only in part for now. I trust you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.
“GOD IS ALL AROUND YOU, like a cocoon of Light. GOD’S Presence with you is a promise, independent of your awareness of GOD. Many things can block this awareness, but the major culprit is worry. GOD’S children tend to accept worry as an inescapable fact of life. However, worry is a form of unbelief; it is curse to The LORD. Who is in charge of your life? If it is you, then you have good reason to worry. But if it is GOD, then worry is both unnecessary and counterproductive. When you start to feel anxious about something, relinquish the situation to GOD. Back off a bit, redirecting your focus to GOD. The LORD will either take care of the problem Himself or show you how to handle it. In this world you will have problems, but you need not lose sight of The LORD.”
Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? “Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” LUKE 12 : 22 – 31
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33
Prayer: Lord thank you for surrounding me with your light and love. Help me to remember when I get anxious or worry to step back and hand the situation to you. You want me to give you my problems and in return you give me peace and joy. What a good Father you are. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
“O my son, give me your heart. May your eyes take delight in following my ways.” Proverbs 23:26 NLT
The day you gave your heart to Jesus life truly began. The day you gave your life to the Lord you were so full of joy, so full of doing what was right in the Lord’s eyes, are you still that committed or have you changed? The Lord says he delights in following his ways and so should we. Today’s prayer is that we would all do an “once over” and check our condition. Are we more on fire or have our flames dwindled to smoke…… Be Blessed and light that fire back up
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“SEEK GOD’S FACE, and you will find fulfillment of your deepest longings. GOD’S world is filled with beautiful things; they are meant to be pointers to The LORD, reminders of HIS abiding Presence. The earth still declares GOD’S Glory to those who have eyes that see and ears that hear. You had a darkened mind before you sought The LORD wholeheartedly. GOD chooses to pour HIS Light into you, so that you can be a beacon to others. There is no room for pride in this position. Your part is to reflect The LORD’S Glory. GOD is the Lord!”
Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. PSALM 19 : 1 – 2
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. ISAIAH 60 : 2
Prayer: Lord, I seek your face today and find fulfillment for my deepest longings. Open my eyes to see the beauty of your world – sunrises, the moon and stars, and each animal I see and hear as reminders of you and your abiding presence. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
