Matthew‬ ‭4 ‬: ‭1 ‬- ‭11

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.” Matthew‬ ‭4 ‬: ‭1 ‬- ‭11‬ ‭NIV‬

How do you handle the situation when you’re tempted ? Like JESUS CHRIST? Or like the devil wants you to? Scripture is our sword! Our greatest weapon!!! Today’s prayer is when we are tempted we would respond as Our Savior did, with The Living Word of GOD and watch the temptation flee …. Be Blessed and keep your sword sharpened!!!!

“TRUST GOD with every fiber of your being! What GOD can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on HIM. One aspect of this is the degree to which you trust GOD in a crisis or major decision. Some people fail miserably here, while others are at their best in tough times. Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in GOD. People who rely on The LORD in the midst of adversity may forget about HIM when life is flowing smoothly. Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for GOD, whereas smooth sailing can lull you into the stupor of self-sufficiency. The LORD cares as much about your tiny trust-steps through daily life as about your dramatic leaps of faith. You may think that no one notices, but The One who is always beside you sees everything—and rejoices. Consistently trusting in GOD is vital to flourishing in The LORD’S Presence.”

Scripture

Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. PSALM 40 : 4 

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? PSALM 56 : 3 – 4 

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. PSALM 62 : 8 

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. ISAIAH 26 : 3 – 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me trust You not only in big decisions and hard moments, but in the ordinary steps of my day. Keep me aware of my need for You when life feels easy as well as when it feels heavy. Teach me to walk with steady, daily trust that honors You. Amen.

1 Peter‬ ‭4 : 7 – 10

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter‬ ‭4 : 7 – 10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

My friends, this scripture sends not only a warning but also instruction. To be of a sober mind is to have the mind of JESUS CHRIST, and what kind of mind would that be? A mind that only serves the will of GOD. As for the end is near warning I fully believe this is true today as we look at all the situations in the world. Today’s prayer is that we would have the mind of JESUS CHRIST and walk a walk filled with love for all …… Be Blessed

“GOD IS THE GIFT that continuously gives — bounteously, with no strings attached. Unconditional Love is such a radical concept that even GOD’S most devoted followers fail to grasp it fully. Absolutely nothing in heaven or on earth can cause GOD to stop loving you. You may feel more loved when you are performing according to your expectations. But GOD’S Love for you is perfect; therefore it is not subject to variation. What does vary is your awareness of The LORD’S loving Presence. When you are dissatisfied with your behavior, you tend to feel unworthy of The LORD’S Love. You may unconsciously punish yourself by withdrawing from GOD and attributing the distance between you to HIS displeasure. Instead of returning to GOD and receiving HIS Love, you attempt to earn The LORD’S approval by trying harder. All the while, The LORD is aching to hold you in HIS everlasting arms, to enfold you in HIS Love. When you are feeling unworthy or unloved, come to GOD. Then ask for receptivity to GOD unfailing Love.”

Scripture

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 JOHN 4 : 15 – 18 

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, “Destroy him!” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 27 

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. PSALM 13 : 5

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, thank You that Your love for me never changes and is never earned. When I feel unworthy or pull away, help me come back to You instead of trying harder on my own. Open my heart to receive Your steady, unfailing love. Amen.

1 John‬ ‭2 : 28

“And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2 : 28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Imagine on the day of The L;ORD’S return you think about all you could have done. Think about the calling GOD put on your life that you ignored because the enemy made you feel unworthy. What about all the time you could have spent with HIM in fellowship but chose other earthly things, the reality of this is staggering. Today’s prayer is that we would stay in constant fellowship with The LORD, pray for the faith to step out into your calling and know that on that day The LORD will say “enter my faithful servant you have made me proud” …………. Be Blessed!!!

Isn’t nice to know that we serve GOD who not only laid out the instruction manual for our lives but also gave us an internal counselor. The Bible directs us on how we are to live and the HOLY SPIRIT convicts us how we should live! Praise GOD!!! Today’s prayer is that we would be sensitive to not only the word of GOD but also the HOLY SPIRIT …….. Be Blessed

Luke‬ ‭2‬ :‭ 11‬

The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!  Luke‬ ‭2‬ :‭ 11‬

Christmas is not only a day of presents and time with family but most important it’s about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Today’s prayer is that we all had a day of peace and joy with our loved ones and reflected on the true meaning of why we celebrate Christmas ….. Merry Christmas to all and Be Blessed

“AS YOU WAIT attentively in GOD’S Presence, the Light of the knowledge of The LORD’S Glory shines upon you. This radiant knowledge transcends all understanding. It transforms every fiber of your being: renewing your mind, cleansing your heart, invigorating your body. Open yourself fully to GOD’S Presence; be awed by HIS glorious Being. Try to imagine what The LORD gave up when HE came to earth as a baby. The LORD, JESUS CHRIST set aside HIS Glory, so that HE could identify with mankind. The LORD accepted the limitations of infancy under the most humble conditions — a stable. Angels lit up the sky proclaiming “Glory!” to awe-struck shepherds. As you sit quietly with GOD, Heaven’s vistas open up before you — granting you glimpses of GOD’S Glory. The LORD, JESUS CHRIST became poor so that you might become rich. Sing hallelujahs to HIS holy Name!” 

Scripture

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 6 

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 6 – 7 

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” LUKE 2 : 13 – 14 

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 CORINTHIANS 8 : 9

Prayer

Prayer: Lord Jesus, as I wait quietly with You, let the truth of who You are renew my mind and steady my heart. Thank You for humbling Yourself to come near, giving up glory so I could receive life and hope. Fill me with gratitude and praise as I rest in Your presence today. Amen

‭Matthew ‭2 ‬: ‭10 – 11‬

When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. ‭Matthew ‭2 ‬: ‭10 – 11‬ 

From HIS first hours JESUS CHRIST was receiving gifts, the greatest gift we can give HIM is our worship, give HIM ourselves completely. Today I pray on the day of our Savior’s birth that we give The LORD, JESUS CHRIST our complete worship and thank HIM for all The LORD has done in our lives ……. Be Blessed!

‭‭Matthew ‭6 ‬:‭ 2 ‬- ‭4

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” ‭‭Matthew ‭6 ‬:‭ 2 ‬- ‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Blessed to be a Blessing!!! One of my favorite sayings. Helping someone in need is a critical part of our lives as believers, but helping and telling everyone what you did kind of discounts the whole purpose. Today’s prayer is that we would help others in need to the best of our ability and let GOD be the only one who sees ….. Be Blessed
