Friends this scripture is so simple and short but ever so powerful!!!!! All that is around us is temporary. The word of God is our instruction manual and every word in the Bible is truth. There are a lot of churches out there teaching the scripture totally out of context!!!! My prayer today is that you would read your Bible (all of it) and understand by the spirit what God is speaking to us, there is a powerful message in every word for each of us…… Be Blessed

“TRUST AND THANKFULNESS WILL get you safely through this day. Trust protects you from worrying and obsessing. Thankfulness keeps you from criticizing and complaining: those “sister sins” that so easily entangle you. Keeping your eyes on GOD is the same thing as trusting GOD. It is a free choice that you must make thousands of times daily. The more you choose to trust GOD, the easier it becomes. Thought patterns of trust become etched into your brain. Relegate troubles to the periphery of your mind, so that The LORD can be central in your thoughts. Thus you focus on GOD, entrusting your concerns into The LORD’S care.”

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. COLOSSIANS 2 : 6 – 7

But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death. PSALM 141 : 8

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 PETER 5 : 7

To grant to those who mourn in Zion – to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,the oil of gladness instead of mourning,the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified. ISAIAH 61 : 3

Prayer: Lord, you know just what I need at just the right time. Thank you of reminding me for the Spirit of heaviness, put on the garment of praise. When I focus on thanking you, on praising you, you change my perspective and outlook entirely. Thank you for never giving up on me Lord. Help me to do the same for your children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Circumstances can seem so bad that you feel they will never end, well there is good news and this scripture explains it. The world will bring heartache and trials but when it’s over all that will cease!!!!! Today I pray that we would all see through the troubles to the solution Jesus!!! “YOU ARE FEELING WEIGHED DOWN by a plethora of problems, both big and small. They seem to require more and more of your attention, but you must not give in to those demands. When the difficulties in your life feel as if they’re closing in on you, break free by spending quality time with GOD. You need to remember who GOD is in all HIS Power and Glory. Then, humbly bring GOD your prayers and petitions. Your problems will pale when you view them in the Light of The LORD’S Presence. You can learn to be joyful in The LORD, your Savior, even in the midst of adverse circumstances. Rely on GOD, your Strength; The LORD makes your feet like the feet of a deer, enabling you to go on the heights.”

God said to Moses, “I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” EXODUS 3 : 14

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. Prayer: God help me to break free from worry by spending time with you. Then I can see things more clearly from your perspective. Help me to rely on you and your strength, and not my own. With you, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Where is your trust? Is it in things of the world? Putting your trust in things that are temporary will only leave you empty, but putting your trust in the Lord will bring everlasting satisfaction. Being a Christian is more than a “mercy me” t-shirt or a “not of this world” sticker on your car window. The true transformation is to embrace the Holy Spirit that lives within you. Jesus told us in the scripture that “He is leaving us the power of the Holy Spirit” as the internal GPS. Today’s prayer is that we would all listen to that internal GPS and live our lives to please God………..Be Blessed

“THE LORD IS THE RISEN ONE who shines upon you always. You worship a living Deity, not some idolatrous, man-made image. Your relationship with GOD is meant to be vibrant and challenging, as HE invades more and more areas of your life. Do not fear change, for The LORD is making you a new creation, with old things passing away and new things continually on the horizon. When you cling to old ways and sameness, you resist GOD’S work within you. GOD wants you to embrace all that HE is doing in your life, finding your security in GOD alone. It is easy to make an idol of routine, finding security within the boundaries you build around your life. Although each day contains twenty-four hours, every single one presents a unique set of circumstances. Don’t try to force-fit today into yesterday’s mold. Instead, ask The LORD to open your eyes, so you can find all GOD has prepared for you in this precious day of Life.”

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” MATTHEW 28 : 5 – 7

Prayer: God thank you for making me a new creation, with old things passing away and new things continually on the horizon. Everyday can be an adventure when I let you lead the way. Help me to let go and let you lead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is waiting with open arms to help us through any situation or struggle, weakness comes from those who are proud, strength comes to those who humble themselves at the foot of the cross. “THANK GOD for the conditions that are requiring you to be still. Do not spoil these quiet hours by wishing them away, waiting impatiently to be active again. Some of the greatest works in GOD’S kingdom have been done from sick beds and prison cells. Instead of resenting the limitations of a weakened body, search for GOD’S way in the midst of these very circumstances. Limitations can be liberating when your strongest desire is living close to The LORD. Quietness and trust enhance your awareness of GOD’S Presence with you. Do not despise these simple ways of serving The LORD. Although you feel cut off from the activity of the world, your quiet trust makes a powerful statement in spiritual realms. GOD’S Strength and Power show themselves most effectively in weakness.”

“Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.” ZECHARIAH 2 : 13

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” ISAIAH 30 : 15

But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9

Prayer: Lord thank you for the conditions that require me to be still and rest and listen to you. Slow me down when I need this reminder. May your power and strength show themselves most effectively in my weakness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
