James‬ ‭3:2-5

“We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.”
‭‭James‬ ‭3:2-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are the words you’re speaking into people’s lives edifying or damning? From the ” good morning” to the “what’s wrong with you idiot?”. James speaks clearly about the power of the tongue in this scripture just how powerful one little word can affect someone. Today’s prayer is that we would all let God put a bit in our mouths or a rudder on our tongue, that we would edify people no matter how we feel. When someone wrongs you hand it over to God and bite down on that bit……..Be Blessed and tell someone “Good Morning”

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

James‬ ‭3‬:‭10-12‬

And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water? Does a fig tree produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring. ‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭10-12‬ NLT

Does your spirit speak to you when one minute you are cursing the driver in front of you that is going too slow and the next is “Praise the Lord” ? James is speaking about that very thing in this scripture. God wants us to be constant in our actions, loving, kind, and thoughtful. Today I pray that God would give us the help by the way of the spirit to be loving and caring in all situations. Thank you Jesus for your grace when we are not, be blessed and be caring

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

GOD IS WITH YOU AND FOR YOU. – ROMANS 8 : 31, 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18, GENESIS 16 : 13 – 14

“GOD IS WITH YOU AND FOR YOU. You face nothing alone—nothing! When you feel anxious, know that you are focusing on the visible world and leaving GOD out of the picture. The remedy is simple: Fix your eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen. Verbalize your trust in GOD, the Living One who sees you always. The LORD will get you safely through this day and all your days. But you can find GOD only in the present. Each day is a precious gift from GOD The Father. How ridiculous to grasp for future gifts when today’s is set before you! Receive today’s gift gratefully, unwrapping it tenderly and delving into its depths. As you savor this gift, you find The LORD.”

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? ROMANS 8 : 31

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18

So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, Truly here I have seen him who looks after me. Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered. GENESIS 16 : 13 – 14

Prayer: Lord help me to focus on and enjoy the gifts you’ve planned out for me today and enjoy your presence in the present. Thank you for always being with me. Even when I feel alone, I never am. Your goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4

For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. ‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬ NLT

Are you struggling with your daily walk with Jesus? You know what type of life you are called to live but it seems that you can’t do it? Check your surroundings and the company you keep. Paul says we died with Christ and were raised with him in a new life, that means NEW not the same as it was. The devil wants to continue to remind you of your past, but Jesus only wants you to think of the now and future. Today I pray that we all would give our surroundings a self check and let the spirit of The Lord guide us…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

GOD IS RENEWING YOUR MIND. – ROMANS 12 : 2, PSALM 105 : 4

“GOD IS RENEWING YOUR MIND. When your thoughts flow freely, they tend to move toward problems. Your focus gets snagged on a given problem, circling round and round it in attempts to gain mastery. Your energy is drained away from other matters through this negative focus. Worst of all, you lose sight of GOD. A renewed mind is Presence-focused. Train your mind to seek The LORD in every moment, every situation. Sometimes you can find GOD in your surroundings: a lilting birdsong, a loved one’s smile, golden sunlight. At other times, you must draw inward to find The LORD. GOD is always present in your spirit. Seek The LORD’S Face, speak to HIM, and GOD will light up your mind.”

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ROMANS 12 : 2

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to focus more on your presence than on my problems. Renew my mind and teach me how to be more Presence-focused today. You are the great I AM and you have never lost a battle. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:24

“The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you know the calling God has put on your life? Are you trying to be someone even though you know God called you to do something completely different? God has called every single one of us to a specific gift. The key to knowing your calling is prayer, continual communication with the Lord. Today’s prayer is that we would all pray for the knowledge of our gift or gifts, God is specific to the call he has put on our life! It’s up to us to choose to follow and please God, or follow our plan to please people……Be Blessed and Pray hard!!!!!!

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

FOLLOW GOD ONE STEP AT A TIME. – PSALM 18 : 29, PSALM 91 : 11 – 12, 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7

“FOLLOW GOD ONE STEP AT A TIME. That is all The LORD requires of you. In fact, that is the only way to move through this space/time world. You see huge mountains looming, and you start wondering how you’re going to scale those heights. Meanwhile, because you’re not looking where you’re going, you stumble on the easy path where GOD is leading you now. As GOD helps you get back on your feet, you tell HIM how worried you are about the cliffs up ahead. But you don’t know what will happen today, much less tomorrow. Your path may take an abrupt turn, leading you away from those mountains. There may be an easier way up the mountains than is visible from this distance. If GOD does lead you up the cliffs, HE will equip you thoroughly for that strenuous climb. The LORD will even give HIS angels charge over you, to preserve you in all your ways. “

Keep your mind on the present journey, enjoying My Presence. Walk by faith, not by sight, trusting Me to open up the way before you. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. PSALM 18 : 29

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. PSALM 91 : 11 – 12

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord help me to follow you one step at a time. If I look too far ahead it’s daunting, but when I follow you one step at a time, holding your hand, I can do all you have called me to do because you equip me with exactly what I need for each day. Give me this day my daily bread. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭5‬

Better to be criticized by a wise person than to be praised by a fool. Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭5‬ NLT

Where are you seeking approval from? The world’s measure? God’s measure? Through life we have been taught right from wrong. If you are living a life that you know does not please God then you can be assured you will have tons of approval from the world’s measure. Today I pray that we all would check where our approval is coming from, the world or God’s word……Be Blessed

GOD IS YOUR STRENGTH AND SHIELD. – PSALM 28 : 7, MATTHEW 6 : 34, PSALM 56 : 3 – 4, GENESIS 28 : 15

“GOD IS YOUR STRENGTH AND SHIELD. GOD plans out each day and has it ready for you, long before you arise from bed. GOD also provides the strength you need each step of the way. Instead of assessing your energy level and wondering about what’s on the road ahead, concentrate on staying in touch with The LORD. GOD’S Power flows freely into you through your open communication. Refuse to waste energy worrying, and you will have strength to spare. Whenever you start to feel afraid, remember that GOD is your Shield. But unlike inanimate armor, GOD is always alert and active. The LORD’S Presence watches over you continually, protecting you from both known and unknown dangers. Entrust yourself to GOD’S watch care, which is the best security system available. The LORD is with you and will watch over you wherever you go.”

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. PSALM 28 : 7

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. MATTHEW 6 : 34

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? PSALM 56 : 3 – 4

“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” GENESIS 28 : 15

Prayer: God thank you for being a good good Father. Open my eyes to see that prayer and surrender is the key to unlocking your peace, joy, and endless strength. When I am afraid, help me to remember if I surrender to you, you will fight my battles for me every-time. And you are far more capable. This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians 3:13-14

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV

Yesterday is gone and today is here, memory is a powerful thing but look, you made it to today. The circumstances that hinder you need to be forgotten, the promise of Jesus needs to be remembered, Paul says ” press forward” meaning through every trial keep moving towards The Lord for he is our strength. Today I pray we would all have peace in the promise that Jesus gives us and we would all press forward to the ultimate prize in heaven………..Be Blessed
