Merry Christmas to one and all!!!! As we celebrate and enjoy this day with our loved ones – do not forget or lose thought of that today is not about festivities and gifts – it is about Love – the love that God our creator had to send a part of him in the form of his son Jesus Christ to this earth in bodily form on this day in Bethlehem hundreds of years ago. The sole purpose of Christ’s birth and life on this Earth and eventual death on the cross and Resurrection was so that we could come to the Father through the Son and be washed by the blood of the Lamb. Just as we would give our lives to protect our loved ones so Christ gave his life to protect us. Do not let the day pass without telling Heavenly and Earthly ones that you love them.
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 NKJV

Since The LORD went to such extreme measures to save you from your sins, you can be assured that HE will graciously give you all you need. Nurture well your trust in CHRIST as Savior, Lord, and Friend. GOD has held back nothing in HIS provision for you. The LORD has even deigned to live within you! Rejoice in all that CHRIST has done for you, and The LORD’S Light will shine through you into the world.”

They followed the lead of a spectacular star, then fell down in humble worship when they found JESUS CHRIST. Praise and worship are the best responses to the wonder of The LORD’S Being. Sing praises to CHRIST’S holy Name. Gaze at The LORD, JESUS in silent adoration. Look for a star of guidance in your own life, and be willing to follow wherever The LORD leads. CHRIST, The LORD is the Light from on high that dawns upon you, to guide your feet into the way of Peace.”

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. Prayer: Lord I come to you and rest in your presence. Open my eyes to see your star of guidance in my life and help me to have the courage to follow wherever you lead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

As you persevere along the path The LORD has prepared for you, depending on HIS strength to sustain you, expect to see miracles — and you will. Miracles are not always visible to the naked eye, but those who live by faith can see them clearly. Living by faith, rather than sight, enables you to see GOD’S Glory.”

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” JOHN 11 : 40
Prayer: Just as the Israelites waited 100s of years for You to fulfill your promise to send a Savior, Christmas is a great reminder you keep your promises. Thank you for sending Jesus as the ultimate gift to show the length you would go to be with us for eternity. Thank you sweet Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For some reason this Psalm reminds me of the song “How Great Is Our God”. This psalm speaks of his tenderness, mercy, compassion. Today’s prayer is we would always praise How Great Our God is to all……Be Blessed

“WHEN THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST JOINED THE RANKS of humanity, born into the humblest conditions, CHRIST, The LORD’s Glory was hidden from all but a few people. Occasionally, streaks of Glory shone out of JESUS CHRIST, especially when The LORD began to do miracles. Toward the end of JESUS CHRIST’S life, HE was taunted and tempted to display more of HIS awesome Power than GOD, The Father’s plan permitted. The LORD could have called down legions of angels to rescue HIM at any point. Imagine the self-control required of a martyr who could free Himself at will! All of this was necessary to provide the relationship with The LORD that you now enjoy. Let your life become a praise song to The LORD by proclaiming HIS glorious Presence in the world.”
This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. JOHN 2 : 11
The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar. . . . LUKE 23 : 35 – 36
It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! PSALM 92 : 1 – 5
Prayer: Father, what an honor it is to have a front row seat to the greatest story in the universe. Don’t let me miss You this Christmas season. Help me to simplify my activities and traditions so I can focus my celebration on your coming Jesus. Amen.
