‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18 : 1 – 3‬

“I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18 : 1 – 3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

David was known to be a man after God’s heart. Are you? This Psalm is beautiful in so many ways and covers a multitude of areas. Today’s prayer is that we would pray this daily for God is our hope in darkness, our strength in weakness, our “be there” in everything…… Be Blessed

“WORSHIP GOD ONLY. GOD is King of kings and Lord of lords, dwelling in unapproachable Light. GOD is taking care of you! GOD is not only committed to caring for you, but The LORD is also absolutely capable of doing so. Rest in GOD, weary one, for this is a form of worship. Though self-flagellation has gone out of style, many of The LORD’S children drive themselves like racehorses. They whip themselves into action, ignoring how exhausted they are. They forget that GOD is sovereign and that HIS ways are higher than theirs. Underneath their driven service, they may secretly resent GOD as a harsh taskmaster. Their worship of The LORD is lukewarm, because GOD is no longer their First Love. GOD’S invitation never changes: Come to The LORD, all you who are weary, and HE will give you rest. Worship GOD by resting peacefully in HIS Presence.”

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. REVELATION 2 : 4

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” MATTHEW 11 : 28

Prayer: God, teach me to worship you by resting in you. Help me to go about my day the way Jesus did – intentional yet unhurried. And patient when detours come. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5 : 7 – 8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s so easy to get caught up in the ways of the world in a daily basis but that is not who we are. This scripture tells us that we once were doomed but now we are saved!!!! Let’s act like it.

Today’s prayer is that we would live a life that is pleasing to God and guard against our old ways……. Be Blessed

“GOD IS PERPETUALLY WITH YOU, taking care of you. That is the most important fact of your existence. GOD is not limited by time or space; GOD’S Presence with you is a forever-promise. You need not fear the future, for GOD is already there. When you make that quantum leap into eternity, you will find The LORD awaiting you in heaven. Your future is in GOD’S hands; HE releases it to you day by day, moment by moment. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. The LORD wants you to live this day abundantly, seeing all there is to see, doing all there is to do. Don’t be distracted by future concerns. Leave them to The LORD! Each day of life is a glorious gift, but so few people know how to live within the confines of today. Much of their energy for abundant living spills over the timeline into tomorrow’s worries or past regrets. Their remaining energy is sufficient only for limping through the day, not for living it to the full. The LORD is training you to keep your focus on HIS Presence in the present. This is how to receive abundant Life, which flows freely from GOD’S throne of grace.”

Scripture

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. MATTHEW 6 : 34

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” JOHN 10 : 10

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” JAMES 4 : 13 – 15

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me to live this day abundantly, looking for your blessings throughout the day like finding hidden treasure. Help me to live in the present and not worry about the past or the future, and leave them in your capable hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Matthew‬ ‭11 : 28 – 30‬

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11 : 28 – 30‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Do you just seem to struggle and never get to that place of rest? Maybe it’s because you are trying to do things your own way? Trying to be the fixer and not get fixed! The words of Jesus tell us to come to him!! Are you handing over your troubles? I’m not saying to hand them over and life is going to be full of rainbows and unicorns, there will always be trials and struggles but the way of the world will continue to bring problems! The way of Jesus will bring peace in the middle of the storms. Today’s prayer is that we would be so in tune with God’s Word that we would never be shaken and stand strong on the Word!!!! Hand the problem off to Jesus and take the next trial head on…….Be Blessed

“RELAX IN GOD’S EVERLASTING ARMS. Your weakness is an opportunity to grow strong in awareness of GOD’S Almighty Presence. When your energy fails you, do not look inward and lament the lack you find there. Look to The LORD and HIS sufficiency; rejoice in The LORD’S radiant riches that are abundantly available to help you. Go gently through this day, leaning on GOD and enjoying HIS Presence. Thank GOD for your neediness, which is building trust-bonds between you. If you look back on your journey thus far, you can see that days of extreme weakness have been some of your most precious times. Memories of these days are richly interwoven with golden strands of GOD’S intimate Presence.”

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, “Destroy him!” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 27

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. PSALM 27 : 13 – 14

Prayer: Lord when my energy is lacking help me to close my eyes and let you refuel me, even if for just a minute. Thank you for your intimate presence with me at all times. What a blessing. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Matthew‬ ‭6 : 9 – 15

“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6 : 9 – 15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How’s your prayer life? This model prayer is an outline for us to Pray!!! Are you praying for riches? For a new car? Or are you praying for all that is lined out in this prayer? Today’s prayer is that we would all pray like this daily, not this prayer word for word but in this fashion! Cover all and God is a just God and will provide……. Be Blessed

1 John 1 : 5 – 7

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1 : 5 – 7 NKJV

It is so important as Christians to let our light shine, it is so easy when trials arise to shut the light off and let the dark show and that is exactly what the devil wants. To have true fellowship with The Lord is defined by our actions, remember non believers and some believers are watching what we do under the gun. Today I pray that we all will let our light shine to the glory of God, for he created light and he is light………..Be Blessed

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.” ‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2 : 16 – 17‬ ‭

Are you feeling down, stressed, alone today? There is a great comfort in our Lord Jesus, HE has given us an eternal promise that will never fail. Today’s prayer is that we would rest in the comfort of our savior and realize man will fail us but Jesus never will he is always there for us……..Be Blessed and turn to Jesus

“COME TO GOD AND LISTEN! Attune yourself to GOD’S voice, and receive HIS richest blessings. Marvel at the wonder of communing with the Creator of the universe while sitting in the comfort of your home. Kings who reign on earth tend to make themselves inaccessible; ordinary people almost never gain an audience with them. Even dignitaries must plow through red tape and protocol in order to speak with royalty. Though GOD is King of the universe, GOD is totally accessible to you. The LORD is with you wherever you are. Nothing can separate you from The LORD’S Presence! When The LORD, JESUS CHRIST cried out from the cross, “It is finished!” The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. This opened the way for you to meet GOD face to Face, with no need of protocol or priests. GOD, the King of kings, is your constant Companion.

Scripture

The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. ISAIAH 50 : 4

Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. ISAIAH 55 : 2 – 3

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. JOHN 19 : 30

And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. MATTHEW 27 : 50 – 51

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for making it possible to commune with you – the Creator of the universe – anywhere, anytime. Help me not to take that gift for granted and to commune with you often, like a child being taught. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
