“SELF-PITY IS A SLIMY, BOTTOMLESS PIT. Once you fall in, you tend to go deeper and deeper into the mire. As you slide down those slippery walls, you are well on your way to depression, and the darkness is profound. Your only hope is to look up and see the Light of GOD’S Presence shining down on you. Though the Light looks dim from your perspective, deep in the pit, those rays of hope can reach you at any depth. While you focus on GOD in trust, you rise ever so slowly out of the abyss of despair. Finally, you can reach up and grasp GOD’S hand. The LORD will pull you out into the Light again. The LORD will gently cleanse you, washing off the clinging mire. HE will cover you with HIS righteousness and walk with you down the path of Life.”

Scripture

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. PSALM 40 : 2 – 3 

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. PSALM 42 : 5 (NKJV) 

The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. PSALM 147 : 11

Prayer

Prayer: God, when I feel stuck in self-pity or despair, help me to look up toward Your Light. Reach into my darkness, lift me with Your mercy, and remind me I’m never too far gone for Your grace. Cover me in Your love, and lead me back into Life with You. Amen.

Psalms 37 : 4 – 5

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37 : 4 – 5 NKJV

Life gets so busy we make JUST enough time for The Lord. This scripture tells us to delight yourself, the meaning of delight is “something that brings you extreme pleasure, happiness”. We as believers should put JESUS CHRIST before anything else, The LORD is our best friend, The LORD takes pleasure when we consult HIM in everything …… Today I pray we would all get alone with GOD and have a personal conversation with HIM …….. “DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW! This is not a suggestion, but a command. GOD divided time into days and nights, so that you would have manageable portions of life to handle. GOD’S grace is sufficient for you, but it’s sufficiency is for only one day at a time. When you worry about the future, you heap day upon day of troubles onto your flimsy frame. You stagger under this heavy load, which GOD never intended you to carry. Throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust. Anxious thoughts meander about and crisscross in your brain, but trusting GOD brings you directly into HIS Presence. As you thus affirm your faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Enjoy GOD’S Presence continually by trusting The LORD at ALL times.”

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. MATTHEW 6 : 34 

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9 

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. PSALM 62 : 8 (NKJV)

Prayer: Jesus, help me to stop dragging tomorrow’s worries into today. Teach me to trust You with this one day, believing Your grace is enough. As I lean into You, quiet my anxious thoughts and fill me with Your peace. Amen.

I believe the way you treat others is the way you treat yourself, So how are you treating yourself? Do you get enough rest? Do you give yourself a day of rest? Do you give yourself a day of pampering? If you are to treat others the way you treat yourself how are you doing? Today’s prayer is that we would live life to the fullest and enjoy our blessings! Do not be trapped in the rat race but break the chains that bind you. Love yourself then you can love others ……… Be Blessed

KEEP WALKING with GOD along the path HE has chosen for you. – PSALM 37 : 23 – 24, PSALM 16 : 11

“KEEP WALKING with GOD along the path HE has chosen for you. Your desire to live close to GOD is a delight to HIS heart. The LORD could instantly grant you the spiritual riches you desire, but that is not GOD’S way for you. Together you will forge a pathway up the high mountain. The journey is arduous at times, and you are weak. Someday you will dance light-footed on the high peaks; but for now, your walk is often plodding and sometimes heavy. All GOD requires of you is to take the next step, clinging to HIS hand for strength and direction. Though the path is difficult and the scenery dull at the moment, there are sparkling surprises just around the bend. Stay on the path GOD has selected for you. It is truly the path of Life.”

If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. PSALM 37 : 23 – 24 

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. PSALM 16 : 11 NKJV

Prayer: Lord, help me keep walking with You, even when the path feels steep and slow. Thank You for holding my hand and guiding each step. I trust that even in hard places, You’re leading me toward Life and joy. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭1 : 18 – 20

“But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Romans‬ ‭1 : 18 – 20‬ ‭

I believe the only thing GOD hates is Sin!!! GOD is love but sin is hate and that contradicts love! To live a life that is pleasing to GOD is to do your best to follow HIS ways! Love all, treat all with respect, be kind to all rich, poor, those who have different beliefs, straight, gay, etc!!!! GOD created all and HSI command is to love not hate! Today’s prayer is that we would all try to please GOD in all our actions! We will fall short and that’s where HIS love comes in, but that doesn’t mean we can stop trying!!!! “WORSHIP GOD ONLY. Idolatry has always been the downfall of THE LORD’S people. GOD make no secrets about being a jealous God. Current idols are more subtle than ancient ones, because today’s false gods are often outside the field of religion. People, possessions, status, and self-aggrandizement are some of the most popular deities today. Beware of bowing down before these things. False gods never satisfy; instead, they stir up lust for more and more. When you seek GOD instead of the world’s idols, you experience The LORD’S Joy and Peace. These intangibles quench the thirst of your soul, providing deep satisfaction. The glitter of the world is tinny and temporal. The Light of GOD’S Presence is brilliant and everlasting. Walk in the Light with GOD. Thus you become a beacon through whom others are drawn to The LORD.” 

“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.” EXODUS 20 : 4 – 5

You are my lamp, O LORD; the LORD turns my darkness into light. 2 SAMUEL 22 : 29

Prayer: Lord help me to seek you instead of the world’s idols. In your presence is a fullness of joy which only you can truly satisfy. All else will fall short. Show me any area of my life I need to de-throne and surrender to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians‬ ‭3 : 12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have trouble with this one from time to time, this scripture tells us we are God’s chosen people! How do you think God’s chosen should act? Today’s prayer is that we would all seek the council of the Holy Spirit to continue to convict us of our righteousness and help us to act like God’s chosen people ……. Be Blessed

Do you believe? Do you believe that miracles still exist? Do You believe that all things will manifest to those who believe? Well I do because The Word says so. Jesus Christ is still performing miracles numerous times everyday, are you looking for them?
