Jude‬ ‭1:24-25‬

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” Jude‬ ‭1:24-25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We tend to take all the glory when we achieve something, Jesus gave us the chance to live through his loving sacrifice so how can we not give him the glory? To be self righteous is to be distant from God. Today’s prayer is that we would give glory to God in all situations, even though we play a big part in our achievements, Jesus played a bigger part by laying his life down for us so that we may live…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

‭‭PHILIPPIANS‬ ‭3:20

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;” ‭‭PHILIPPIANS‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭NASB‬‬

As I read this scripture the song “Waiting on the dock of a bay” strikes me. We all are waiting for something in this life. Is it our permanent home or something else? Today’s prayer is that we would Love hard, Be loyal, be transparent, and be the best us we can be in the Lord’s eyes not the world’s …….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

LET GOD CONTROL YOUR MIND. – GENESIS 1 : 26 – 27, ROMANS 8 : 6

“LET GOD CONTROL YOUR MIND. The mind is the most restless, unruly part of mankind. Long after you have learned the discipline of holding your tongue, your thoughts defy your will and set themselves up against GOD. Man is the pinnacle of GOD’S creation, and the human mind is wondrously complex. GOD risked all by granting you freedom to think for yourself. This is a godlike privilege, forever setting you apart from animals and robots. GOD made you in HIS image, precariously close to deity. Though CHRIST, The LORD’s blood has fully redeemed you, your mind is the last bastion of rebellion. Open yourself to GOD’S radiant Presence, letting HIS Light permeate your thinking. When GOD’S Holy Spirit is controlling your mind, you are filled with Life and Peace.”

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. GENESIS 1 : 26 – 27

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. ROMANS 8 : 6

Prayer: Holy Spirit, control my mind and teach me the discipline of holding my tongue. Fill me with thoughts that align with your word and with life and peace only you can provide. And when my thoughts wander from truth, help me to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. In Christ’s name I pray. Amen.

DO NOT BE AFRAID, for GOD is with you. – Mark 4 : 39, DEUTERONOMY 31 : 6, PSALM 46 : 2, PSALM 73 : 23 – 24

“DO NOT BE AFRAID, for GOD is with you. Hear GOD saying Peace, be still to your restless heart. No matter what happens, GOD will never leave you or forsake you. Let this assurance soak into your mind and heart, until you overflow with Joy. Though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, you need not fear! The media relentlessly proclaim bad news: for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A steady diet of their fare will sicken you. Instead of focusing on fickle, ever-changing news broadcasts, tune in to the living Word—the One who is always the same. Let Scripture saturate your mind and heart, and you will walk steadily along the path of Life. Even though you don’t know what will happen tomorrow, you can be absolutely sure of your ultimate destination. GOD holds you by your right hand, and afterward GOD will take you into Glory.”

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Mark 4 : 39 (NKJV)

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” DEUTERONOMY 31 : 6

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. PSALM 46 : 2

Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. PSALM 73 : 23 – 24

Prayer: Lord with all the distractions lobbying for my attention, help me to be intentional in spending time with you in your living word, the only thing that fills me with true joy and peace. To not be afraid and hear you saying, be still my restless soul. Thank you sweet Jesus. It’s in your name I pray. Amen.

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭143:10‬

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭143:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Oh to live constantly in God’s will, what a life that would be, as for me I try to do everything I can to please God in all I do and the sad part is I fail daily!!!! God’s grace is there for us as we fail and miss the mark. It’s up to us to put forth the effort to miss the mark less and less. Today’s prayer is that we would strive to live in God’s perfect will and live a life led by the spirit of God for he is perfect……Be Blessed

GOD LOVES YOU regardless of how well you are performing. – JEREMIAH 31 : 3, ISAIAH 61 : 10, PSALM 31 : 16, PSALM 107 : 8

“GOD LOVES YOU regardless of how well you are performing. Sometimes you feel uneasy, wondering if you are doing enough to be worthy of GOD’S Love. No matter how exemplary your behavior, the answer to that question will always be no. Your performance and GOD’S Love are totally different issues, which you need to sort out. GOD loves you with an everlasting Love that flows out from eternity without limits or conditions. The LORD has clothed you in HIS robe of righteousness, and this is an eternal transaction: Nothing and no one can reverse it. Therefore, your accomplishment as a Christian has no bearing on CHRIST’S Love for you. Even your ability to assess how well you are doing on a given day is flawed. Your limited human perspective and the condition of your body, with its mercurial variations, distort your evaluations. Bring your performance anxiety to The LORD, and receive in it’s place HIS unfailing Love. Try to stay conscious of GOD’S loving Presence with you in all that you do, and HE will direct your steps.”

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” JEREMIAH 31 : 3

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ISAIAH 61 : 10

Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. PSALM 31 : 16

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, PSALM 107 : 8

Prayer: Lord thank you that your love is completely independent of how well or not so well I perform. Thank you for your love without limits or conditions. Help me to love like you love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Timothy‬ ‭2:3-5‬

“This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:3-5‬ ‭

Are you trying to live a life that is pleasing to God? Are you doing all you can to hit the mark rather than miss it? I believe we all do. God wants all of us to be saved and not perish and there is only one way – Jesus. Today’s prayer is that we would seek the council of The Holy Spirit in all we do and I guarantee we will hit the mark daily……Be Blessed

PEACE IS GOD’S CONTINUAL GIFT TO YOU. – EXODUS 16 : 15 – 20, PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 – 7, 19, HEBREWS 4 : 16

“PEACE IS GOD’S CONTINUAL GIFT TO YOU. It flows abundantly from GOD’S throne of grace. Just as the Israelites could not store up manna for the future but had to gather it daily, so it is with GOD’S Peace. The day-by-day collecting of manna kept The LORD’S people aware of their dependence on HIM. Similarly, CHRIST gives you sufficient Peace for the present, when you come to me HIM prayer and petition with thanksgiving. If GOD gave you permanent Peace, independent of HIS Presence, you might fall into the trap of self-sufficiency. May that never be! GOD has designed you to need HIM moment by moment. As your awareness of your neediness increases, so does your realization of GOD’S abundant sufficiency. The LORD can meet every one of your needs without draining HIS resources at all. Approach GOD’S throne of grace with bold confidence, receiving The LORD’S Peace with a thankful heart.”

Moses said to them, “It is the bread the LORD has given you to eat. This is what the LORD has commanded: ‘Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.’” The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. . . . Each one gathered as much as he needed. Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.” However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them. EXODUS 16 : 15 – 20

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. . . . And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 – 7, 19

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. HEBREWS 4 : 16

Prayer: Lord help me to hand you my problems and accept your peace in its place. What an amazing deal. Thank you for giving me just enough peace for today, reminding me how much I need you moment by moment. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John‬ ‭19‬:‭30

When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and released his spirit. ‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭30‬ NLT

The significance of the cross has deep understanding. Jesus was sent into this world to be born and to die, but his death was the final atonement for our sins. Jesus’ last words were “it is finished” that is a once and for all statement!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would understand that the end of Jesus’s human life was the beginning of ours, he died so we may live…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

John‬ ‭20‬:‭3-9

Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. John‬ ‭20‬:‭3-9‬ NLT

The hidden nugget in this scripture is the linen that covered Jesus’s face. In the Jewish tradition the servant would watch to see when his master was done with his meal, if the master got up from the table and wadded up his napkin it meant he was finished, if he folded it neatly it meant he was coming back. The linens that wrapped Jesus’s body were just lying there, but the linens that covered his face were folded neatly. Today’s prayer is that we all would stand on his promise, he rose and he is coming back……Be Blessed and Happy Easter
