FIND GOD in the midst of the maelstrom – PHILIPPIANS 2 : 9 – 11, ISAIAH 43 : 1,

“FIND GOD in the midst of the maelstrom. Sometimes events whirl around you so quickly that they become a blur. Whisper The LORD’S Name in recognition that HE is still with you. Without skipping a beat in the activities that occupy you, you find strength and Peace through praying GOD’S Name. Later, when the happenings have run their course, you can talk with The LORD more fully. Accept each day just as it comes to you. Do not waste your time and energy wishing for a different set of circumstances. Instead, trust GOD enough to yield to HIS design and purposes. Remember that nothing can separate you from The LORD’S loving Presence; you are HIS.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 9 – 11

But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. ISAIAH 43 : 1

Prayer: Lord help me to find you in the midst of the storm. To whisper your name, Jesus, to remind myself you are still with me and you are still in control. I surrender it all to you Lord. Help me to be salt and light in the darkness this week. For your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Test all things, hold all to Gods genuine truth, and be Strong and Courageous!! Jeremiah 28: 13-17

Jeremiah 28: 13-17 NKJV; God commands Jeremiah, his prophet, to rebuke a false prophet named Hananiah who proclaimed that The kingdom of Judah’s subservience to Babylon would soon be over and that Judah’s King and temple treasures would be returned from Babylonian captivity

13 “Go and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron.” 14 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. I have given him the beasts of the field also.” ’ ”

15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie. 16 Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the Lord.’ ”

17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

Life is not easy and the truth can be quite bitter especially if it proclaims the consequences of sin. As such mankind prefers to hear and believe sweet lies over the bitter truth. This is dangerous both for those who believe the lie and those who proclaim or spread it.

If you believe a lie you have a false foundation for your beliefs and expectations thus leaving you confused, angry, unprepared, and with crushed spirit when the lie is proven false. Those who falsely proclaim truth and spread lies and thus lead Gods people astray face dire consequences just as Hananiah did. Therefore those who wish to spread the word of God must be thoroughly honest with themselves and their audience so they do not corrupt and adulterate Gods word and truth for those who are seeking him.

Test all things, hold all to Gods genuine truth, and be Strong and Courageous!! Amen!!

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭3

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ NLT)

How do people view you? Are you kind and caring? Do you lend a helping hand when it’s needed? Today I pray we would all put this proverb to work and be kind and helpful to all we can…..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Psalm‬ ‭62:5-6

“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” Psalm‬ ‭62:5-6‬ ‭

Circumstances can consume your day and even your life. The key to peace is were it comes from. The Lord is the only true peace we have, to trust and depend on him is key. Jeremiah 1:4-8 NKJV

The words of the Lord God of Israel to Jeremiah his prophet who would announce God’s coming judgments and punishments on the kingdoms of Judah and Israel due to their multi-generational rebellion against God: Jeremiah 1:4-8 NKJV

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Then said I: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” But the LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD.

God knew all of us before we were even born. He claimed us as his own, and has great plans for us. For those plans to be fulfilled we must honor God, keep his commandments, fill the world with his message, and keep our hearts pure. If not the spiritual joy and relationship he reserves for us can not exist and we will walk in darkness and shame. Be strong and courageous, encourage one another, and keep the faith. Amen!!

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” Matthew‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” Matthew‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I believe this scripture is for right now!!!! The company a friend has worked for the last 25 years of his life came under attack from the media with false information!!! Jesus spoke of false prophets in Biblical times and even though a different group they are one and the same!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would let the Spirit of God decipher the truth from the lie!!!!! Be Blessed

GOD IS YOURS FOR ALL ETERNITY – REVELATION 1 : 8, HEBREWS 13 : 8, PSALM 102 : 25 – 27, PSALM 48 : 14

“GOD IS YOURS FOR ALL ETERNITY. GOD is the Alpha and the Omega: the One who is and was and is to come. The world you inhabit is a place of constant changes—more than your mind can absorb without going into shock. Even the body you inhabit is changing relentlessly, in spite of modern science’s attempts to prolong youth and life indefinitely. The LORD Jesus Christ, however, is the same yesterday and today and forever. Because The LORD will never change, your relationship with GOD provides a rock-solid foundation for your life. Christ The LORD will never leave your side. When you move on from this life to the next, Jesus Christ’s Presence beside you will shine brighter with each step. You have nothing to fear, because The LORD is with you for all time and throughout eternity.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” REVELATION 1 : 8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. HEBREWS 13 : 8

In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end. PSALM 102 : 25 – 27

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. PSALM 48 : 14

Prayer: God thank you for being my loving and good God forever and ever amen. Though my body is withering away, with each day I am closer to my true home in Heaven with you for eternity God. Help me to live a life now that’s honoring and pleasing and all in for you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

LEARN TO ENJOY LIFE MORE. Relax, remembering that GOD is with you – MATTHEW 1 : 23, JOHN 10 : 10 – 11

“LEARN TO ENJOY LIFE MORE. Relax, remembering that GOD is with you. The LORD crafted you with enormous capacity to know HIM and enjoy HIS Presence. When The LORD’S people wear sour faces and walk through their lives with resigned rigidity, The LORD is displeased. When you walk through a day with childlike delight, savoring every blessing, you proclaim your trust in The LORD, your ever-present Shepherd. The more you focus on GOD’S Presence with you, the more fully you can enjoy life. Glorify GOD through your pleasure in HIM. Thus you proclaim The LORD’S Presence to the watching world.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” MATTHEW 1 : 23

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” JOHN 10 : 10 – 11

Prayer: God help me to walk through this day with child like delight, enjoying life and loved ones, and savoring every blessing. Show me how to stay close to you today, where there is abundant life. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Proverbs‬ ‭1:7

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Fear of the Lord is not too be afraid of him but to be afraid of disappointing him! Gods grace saved us from eternal hell and to not know the difference between Grace and garbage is death. Today’s prayer is that we would always turn to the word of God for wisdom and instruction and learn to not be afraid but fear out of disappointment…… Be Blessed

COME TO GOD when you are weak and weary – ISAIAH 42 : 3, ISAIAH 54 : 10, ROMANS 8 : 26

“COME TO GOD when you are weak and weary. Rest snugly in GOD’S everlasting arms. GOD does not despise your weakness, You are HIS child. Actually, it draws GOD closer to you, because weakness stirs up GOD’S compassion — HIS yearning to help. Accept yourself in your weariness, knowing that GOD understands how difficult your journey has been. Do not compare yourself with others, who seem to skip along their life-paths with ease. Their journeys have been different from yours, and GOD has gifted them with abundant energy. GOD has gifted you with fragility, providing opportunities for your spirit to blossom in HIS Presence. Accept this gift as a sacred treasure: delicate, yet glowing with brilliant Light. Rather than struggling to disguise or deny your weakness, allow GOD to bless you richly through it.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice. ISAIAH 42 : 3

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. ISAIAH 54 : 10

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. ROMANS 8 : 26

Prayer: Lord I’m so grateful you are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I can always count on you. When the world let’s me down I know I have a Father who adores me and wants to spend time with me. Help me to rest snugly in your everlasting arms, often. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
