“who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1 : 4 NIV
It is so important to witness to everyone we can! The world is broken and needs Jesus. The same love and mercy is available to everyone and it’s our job as Christians to spread the good news. Today’s prayer is that we would have the direction of the Holy Spirit to tell everyone about what Jesus has done in our lives……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17
“LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES of Peace. Learn to unwind whenever possible, resting in the Presence of your Shepherd. This electronic age keeps GOD’S children “wired” much of the time, too tense to find GOD in the midst of their moments. GOD built into your very being the need for rest. How twisted the world has become when people feel guilty about meeting this basic need! How much time and energy they waste by being always on the go, rather than taking time to seek The LORD’S direction for their lives. The LORD has called you to walk with HIM down paths of Peace. GOD wants you to blaze a trail for others who desire to live in HIS peaceful Presence. GOD has chosen you less for your strengths than for your weaknesses, which amplify your need for The LORD. Depend on GOD more and more, and The LORD will shower Peace on all your paths.”
Scripture
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. PSALM 23 : 1 – 3
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. GENESIS 2 : 2 – 3
“ . . . to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” LUKE 1 : 79
Prayer
Prayer: Lord teach me to lie down in green pastures of peace. To rest in your presence, daily. To be still and know that you are God. To listen for your direction before taking a step. Quiet my spirit Lord and make your voice louder than any other. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.” Jeremiah 17 : 7
Sometimes things get so crazy we forget who is in control and has our back. God’s promise is just this. Today’s prayer is that we would put all of our trust and confidence in the Lord, no matter how tough things are, turn to Him and find perfect peace…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17
“AS YOU TURN YOUR ATTENTION TO GOD, feel the Light of The LORD’S Presence shining upon you. Open your mind and heart to receive GOD’S heavenly smile of approval. Let The LORD’S gold-tinged Love wash over you and soak into the depths of your being. As you are increasingly filled with GOD’S Being, you experience joyous union with The LORD: GOD in you, and you in GOD. Your Joy-in-GOD and GOD’S Joy-in-you become intertwined and inseparable. GOD suffuses your soul with Joy in HIS Presence; at GOD’S right hand there are pleasures forevermore.”
Scripture
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” JOHN 17 : 20 – 23
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. PSALM 16 : 11 (NKJV)
Prayer
Prayer: Lord thank you for showing me the path of life, the path full of joy and pleasure in You. Use me, with truth and love, to help the world to see more of You and less of me. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. Hebrews 6 : 17 – 18 NLT
There are things we do that make us feel that we are unworthy to serve God. When we became Christians, that was sealed by the blood of Jesus on the Cross. God is not a changing God, he doesn’t disregard you when you miss the mark, I’m sure he is disappointed but God still has everlasting love for you when you are good or bad. Today’s prayer is that when we miss the mark we would go to God in repentance and ask by his Holy Spirit to instruct and fix that problem so that we can do bigger things for the kingdom…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17
“NO MATTER WHAT your circumstances may be, you can find Joy in GOD’S Presence. On some days Joy is generously strewn along your life-path, glistening in the sunlight. On days like that, being content is as simple as breathing the next breath or taking the next step. Other days are overcast and gloomy; you feel the strain of the journey, which seems endless. Dull gray rocks greet your gaze and cause your feet to ache. Yet Joy is still attainable. Search for it as a hidden treasure. Begin by remembering that GOD has created this day; it is not a chance occurrence. Recall that GOD is present with you whether you sense HIS Presence or not. Then, start talking with GOD about whatever is on your mind. Rejoice in the fact that The LORD understands you perfectly, and The LORD knows exactly what you are experiencing. As you continue communicating with GOD, your mood will gradually lighten. Awareness of GOD’S marvelous Companionship can infuse Joy into the grayest day.”
Scripture
Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence. PSALM 21 : 6
. . . and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure. PROVERBS 2 : 4
Prayer
Prayer: God thank you for your constant companionship. Even when I don’t see it, you’re working. Even when I don’t feel it, you’re working. Teach me to have your joy on the grayest of days. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”” Acts 23 : 11 NIV
Do you sometimes feel like your assignment is fulfilled? Nope!!!! I believe our assignment is life long. Paul knew that going to Rome would be his final assignment of the Lord but he was obedient to the end. Opposition awaits us as believers but the gospel is life changing in places that we would least expect. Today’s prayer is that we, against our fears, would be obedient to our assignments and pray up before heading into them …….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17
“TO LIVE in GOD’S Presence consistently, you must expose and expel your rebellious tendencies. When something interferes with your plans or desires, you tend to resent the interference. Try to become aware of each resentment, however petty it may seem. Don’t push those unpleasant feelings down; instead, let them come to the surface where you can deal with them. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to increase your awareness of resentful feelings. Bring them boldly into the Light of GOD’S Presence, so that GOD can free you from them. The ultimate solution to rebellious tendencies is submission to GOD’S authority over you. Intellectually you rejoice in GOD’S sovereignty, without which the world would be a terrifying place. But when GOD’S sovereign will encroaches on your little domain of control, you often react with telltale resentment. The best response to losses or thwarted hopes is praise: The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Remember that all good things—your possessions, your family and friends, your health and abilities, your time—are gifts from The LORD. Instead of feeling entitled to all these blessings, respond to them with gratitude. Be prepared to let go of anything GOD takes from you, but never let go of The LORD’S hand!”
Scripture
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. PSALM 139 : 23 – 24
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 1 PETER 5 : 6
And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.” JOB 1 : 21 (NKJV)
Prayer
Prayer: God help me not to hold onto anything tighter than I hold onto you. You know whats best and I trust your sovereign plan. Search my heart and show me any area I need to let go of my will to yield to yours. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalms 91 : 1 NASB
Where do you take shelter? Do you find shelter in the worry of the world? Or in the never ending promise in God’s Word? Today’s prayer is that we would all know where our place is! We belong aside the Almighty at all times……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5 : 17
“GO GENTLY THROUGH THIS DAY, keeping your eyes on GOD. GOD will open up the way before you, as you take steps of trust along your path. Sometimes the way before you appears to be blocked. If you focus on the obstacle or search for a way around it, you will probably go off course. Instead, focus on The LORD, the Shepherd who is leading you along your life-journey. Before you know it, the “obstacle” will be behind you and you will hardly know how you passed through it. That is the secret of success in GOD’s kingdom. Although you remain aware of the visible world around you, your primary awareness is of The LORD. When the road before you looks rocky, you can trust GOD to get you through that rough patch. GOD’S Presence enables you to face each day with confidence.”
Scripture
“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” JOHN 10 : 14 – 15
The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth. ISAIAH 26 : 7
Prayer
Prayer: God thank you that no matter what I face, when I keep my eyes fixed on you, before I know it, the obstacle that once looked so insurmountable is behind me, and I hardly know how I passed through it. Thank you for your goodness Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
