“SEEK GOD’S FACE, and you will find fulfillment of your deepest longings. The LORD’S world is filled with beautiful things; they are meant to be pointers to HIM, reminders of GOD’S abiding Presence. The earth still declares The LORD’S Glory to those who have eyes that see and ears that hear. You had a darkened mind before you sought GOD wholeheartedly. GOD chose to pour HIS Light into you, so that you can be a beacon to others. There is no room for pride in this position. Your part is to reflect GOD’S Glory. GOD is The LORD!”

Scripture

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4 

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. PSALM 19 : 1 – 2 

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. ISAIAH 60 : 2

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I seek Your face today—let my heart be satisfied in You alone. Thank You for opening my eyes to Your Presence and filling me with Your light. Help me reflect Your glory, not for my credit, but so others can see You through me. Amen.

Matthew‬ ‭5 : 11 – 12‬

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5 : 11 – 12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Whether you know it or not this happens daily to us as Christians. Have you ever noticed how people tend to turn into “super heroes of insult” when they know you’re a Christian? That’s because they know you won’t react in a threatening way, well you shouldn’t, that’s the part “Blessed are those”. The fact that we can show love in the toughest times is a true blessing. Today’s prayer is that we would remember our blessings when the opportunity comes to blast someone for treating you badly or talking about you, respond “Jesus loves you and so do I” ………. Be Blessed

1 Corinthians‬ ‭15 : 3

“I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15 : 3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This is what we should be preaching to all!!! The importance of the gospel stands on this scripture, “Christ died for our sins”!  Today’s prayer is that we would fully understand what was done for us at Calvary and fully witness to all we come across …… Be Blessed

“You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23 ‬: ‭5 ‬- ‭6‬ ‭

To truly understand this scripture is the key!!! GOD is telling us HE is there in all situations! Not some but all! HE has our backs in trials, HE has our backs in situations that we feel will never end! Today’s prayer is that we would take ourselves out of the equation and insert GOD in all of our situations!!!! Be Blessed and remember less of us and more of GOD !!!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be still in your presence. Control my thoughts. Align my heart’s desires with your will. May your light soak into my heart and mind, until I am aglow with your peace and joy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Are you seeking council from The Lord in all you do? Are you dealing with the feeling that a particular situation isn’t right?. This proverb says commit to The Lord in whatever you do! Not commit to some things. Today’s prayer is that we would have so much faith in God’s plan for us that we would seek HIM first and trust that HE will give us the proper decision ……. Be Blessed

“REMEMBER THAT YOU LIVE in a fallen world: an abnormal world tainted by sin. Much frustration and failure result from your seeking perfection in this life. There is nothing perfect in this world except GOD. That is why closeness to GOD satisfies deep yearnings and fills you with Joy. GOD has planted longing for perfection in every human heart. This is a good desire, which The LORD alone can fulfill. But most people seek this fulfillment in other people and earthly pleasures or achievements. Thus they create idols, before which they bow down. GOD will have no other gods before HIM! Make GOD the deepest desire of your heart. Let The LORD fulfill your yearning for perfection.”

“You shall have no other gods before me.” EXODUS 20 : 3 

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus Christ, remind me that this world is broken and only You are perfect. Help me stop chasing satisfaction in people or things, and instead, turn my heart fully toward You. Be my greatest desire, and fill the deep places in me with Your perfect love and joy. Amen!

Genesis‬ ‭4 : 3 – 7

“And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4 : 3 – 7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I believe this scripture is essential for all of us. Cain brought the least and Able brought the first, the best, the deserving of the Lord! Are you giving God your best or just the leftovers? Today’s prayers are that we would always give God our best, our 100% be faithful to God because he is always faithful to us …….. Be Blessed

“GOD WANTS TO BE CENTRAL in your entire being. When your focus is firmly on GOD, HIS Peace displaces fears and worries. They will encircle you, seeking entrance, so you must stay alert. Let trust and thankfulness stand guard, turning back fear before it can gain a foothold. There is no fear in GOD’S Love, which shines on you continually. Sit quietly in GOD’S Love-Light, while The LORD bless you with radiant Peace. Turn your whole being to trusting and loving GOD.”

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 JOHN 4 : 18

Personal Note

As a parent this also brings to mind my children ( one in early 20’s and one in early teen years ) as they grow and make mistakes I don’t want them to think “Dad’s going to be mad I need to figure this out on my own” instead I want them to think “I messed up – I’ll call Dad he’ll help me” As Christians we should love and trust GOD not fear HIM as a child loves and trusts their parent without fear. 

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus Christ, I want You to be the center of my heart and mind. Let Your Peace push out every fear and worry, and help me stay rooted in trust and thankfulness. Fill me with Your love and light, and teach me to rest in Your Presence today. Amen.

“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭12 : 5‬ ‭NIV

Peter was equivalent to our pastors today, he assembled the people built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Peter endured many different types of persecution and the people continued to pray together for him. Today’s pastors are no different, they are also under attack from the devil for all the souls they are winning for God. Today’s prayer is that we would always pray for our pastors, pray God would give them wisdom, strength, humility, and most of all direction to grow God’s church the way He intended it to be ……. Be Blessed and Pray Hard!
