James‬ ‭3:2-5

“We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.”

Are the words you’re speaking into people’s lives edifying or damning? From the ” good morning” to the “what’s wrong with you idiot”. James speaks clearly about the power of the tongue in this scripture just how powerful one little word can affect someone. Today’s prayer is that we would all let God put a bit in our mouths or a rudder on our tongue, that we would edify people no matter how we feel. When someone wrongs you hand it over to God and bite down on that bit……..Be Blessed and tell someone “Good Morning”

Many are asking, “Who can show us any good?” Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD. You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. PSALM 4 : 6 – 8

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. REVELATION 21 : 23

Prayer: Lord you have filled my heart with greater joy than words can explain. Help me to grow strong in the light of your presence. Thank you for your presence now and for the hope of Heaven. And thank you for Fridays. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

How is your foundation? Steady or sinking? This scripture explains the importance to have your live based on Jesus. Today I pray that we would all have a strong foundation built on Christ not the world….. Be Blessed

“SPEND TIME WITH GOD for the pure pleasure of being in GOD’S company. GOD can brighten up the dullest of gray days; GOD can add sparkle to the routines of daily life. You have to repeat so many tasks day after day. This monotony can dull your thinking until your mind slips into neutral. A mind that is unfocused is vulnerable to “the world, the flesh, and the devil,” all of which exert a downward pull on your thoughts. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4

Prayer: Lord help me to trust you in the midst of a messy day. Don’t let the peace you’ve given me be shaken by any circumstance today. I am grounded and rooted in eternity and nothing can separate me from your love. All because of Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

“So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? A lot of Christians say God loves me just as I am and this is true, but he does not love our sin and wants us to change. Today’s prayer is that we would let God shape our lives without sin so that we can live a life that is pleasing to him in all areas……Be Blessed

GOD is intimately involved in all your moments, and The LORD is training you to be aware of HIM at all times. Your assignment is to collaborate with GOD in this training process. GOD has taken up residence within you; GOD is central in your innermost being. Your mind goes off in tangents from its holy Center, time after time. Do not be alarmed by your inability to remain focused on GOD. Simply bring your thoughts gently back to GOD each time they wander. The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. PSALM 25 : 14 – 15

Prayer: Lord thank you when I sit in your presence you fill me with love and light, peace and joy. Thank you for being intimately involved in all my moments. Help me to recognize your still small voice more this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jesus came to save the world not condemn it! Jesus went to the lost to show them the way to eternal life, some followed and some didn’t. Today it has remained the same some follow and some have too much pride to understand they need a savior. Today’s prayer is that we would as believers pray for the lost not condemn them…….Be Blessed

GOD IS ALL AROUND YOU, hovering over you even as you seek HIS Face. – PSALM 139 : 1 – 4, EPHESIANS 2 : 13, 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 21

“GOD IS ALL AROUND YOU, hovering over you even as you seek HIS Face. GOD is nearer than you dare believe, closer than the air you breathe. If GOD’S children could only recognize HIS Presence, they would never feel lonely again. The LORD knows every thought before you think it, every word before you speak it. GOD’S Presence impinges on your innermost being. Can you see the absurdity of trying to hide anything from GOD? You can easily deceive other people, and even yourself; but GOD reads you like an open, large-print book. Deep within themselves, most people have some awareness of The LORD’S imminent Presence. Many people run from The LORD and vehemently deny HIS existence, because GOD’S closeness terrifies them. Prayer: Lord help me to recognize your presence with me and in me and for me this week. Thank you for the incredible sacrifice Jesus made by dying on the cross for me so I am now right with God for eternity. Never separated again. Thank you, thank you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.

This scripture lays a great foundation for us to live our lives by. Day to day circumstances can seem impossible, but with God All things are possible.
