The definition of Liberty is “Freedom”. This scripture speaks of freedom and says do not use it as a free pass to sin. Grace brings freedom by the Cross, and all things are made new by Jesus Christ. Life is full of ups and downs but as believers we have a hope in Jesus. Paul writes about our “present” sufferings and how awesome it will be in heaven someday. Heaven will have no more suffering, no more pain, no more tears. Reality check WE ARE SINNERS!!!!! Even though we are saved we are sinners. To sin is to do something against God, gossip, anger, worry, curse, lie, etc. The cross redeemed us from damnation but we bring our own condemnation on by these actions !!!! Facades abound in the world, even in The LORD’S Body, the church. Sometimes, church is the last place where people feel free to be themselves. They cover up with Sunday clothes and Sunday smiles. They feel relief when they leave because of the strain of false fellowship. The best antidote to this artificial atmosphere is practicing GOD’S Presence at church. Let your primary focus be communing with GOD, worshiping HIM, glorifying HIM. Then you will be able to smile at others with GOD’S Joy and love them with HIS Love.”
