Joshua‬ ‭24‬ :‭ 2‬ -‭ 15‬

“Joshua said to the people, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Long ago your ancestors, including Terah, the father of Abraham and Nahor, lived beyond the Euphrates River, and they worshiped other gods. But I took your ancestor Abraham from the land beyond the Euphrates and led him into the land of Canaan. I gave him many descendants through his son Isaac. To Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. To Esau I gave the mountains of Seir, while Jacob and his children went down into Egypt. “Then I sent Moses and Aaron, and I brought terrible plagues on Egypt; and afterward I brought you out as a free people. But when your ancestors arrived at the Red Sea, the Egyptians chased after you with chariots and charioteers. When your ancestors cried out to the Lord, I put darkness between you and the Egyptians. I brought the sea crashing down on the Egyptians, drowning them. With your very own eyes you saw what I did. Then you lived in the wilderness for many years. “Finally, I brought you into the land of the Amorites on the east side of the Jordan. They fought against you, but I destroyed them before you. I gave you victory over them, and you took possession of their land. Then Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, started a war against Israel. He summoned Balaam son of Beor to curse you, but I would not listen to him. Instead, I made Balaam bless you, and so I rescued you from Balak. “When you crossed the Jordan River and came to Jericho, the men of Jericho fought against you, as did the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. But I gave you victory over them. And I sent terror ahead of you to drive out the two kings of the Amorites. It was not your swords or bows that brought you victory. I gave you land you had not worked on, and I gave you towns you did not build—the towns where you are now living. I gave you vineyards and olive groves for food, though you did not plant them. “So fear the Lord and serve him wholeheartedly. Put away forever the idols your ancestors worshiped when they lived beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord alone. But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭24‬ :‭ 2‬ -‭ 15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I know it’s long winded!!! But these words have never been more clear for this broken world today!!!! The media is the devil’s device to divide the people, CNN says one party is crushing the other, Fox says another is crushing the other!!! Haven’t we all read the book? Don’t we know who appoints the leaders? Don’t we know who wins in the end? Politics have become a game of the devil’s lies and who can line their pockets the most. Today’s prayer is that we as Christians would stand on the Truth!!! God is not a God of lies and we all know the condition of the world was prophesied long long ago. Stand on your Faith and know that what happens in this world is God;s will and His will only!!!!! Be Blessed and remember there is only one Savior and it is not the President of the United States or any politician or celebrity – It IS GOD!!!

COME TO GOD when you are weak and weary. – ISAIAH 42 : 3, ISAIAH 54 : 10, ROMANS 8 : 26

“COME TO GOD when you are weak and weary. Rest snugly in GOD’S everlasting arms. You are GOD’S child – HE does not despise your weakness. Actually, it draws GOD closer to you, because weakness stirs up The LORD’S compassion — HIS yearning to help. Accept yourself in your weariness, knowing that GOD understands how difficult your journey has been. Do not compare yourself with others, who seem to skip along their life-paths with ease. Their journeys have been different from yours, and GOD has gifted them with abundant energy. The LORD has gifted you with fragility, providing opportunities for your spirit to blossom in GOD’S Presence. Accept this gift as a sacred treasure: delicate, yet glowing with brilliant Light. Rather than struggling to disguise or deny your weakness, allow GOD to bless you richly through it.”

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice. ISAIAH 42 : 3

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. ISAIAH 54 : 10

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. ROMANS 8 : 26

Prayer

Prayer: Lord I come to you when I am weak and weary and rest snugly in your everlasting arms. Thank you for my weaknesses because they remind me to depend on you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Isn’t it nice to know that we serve a God that not only laid out the instruction manual for our lives but also gave us an internal counselor. The Bible directs us on how we are to live and the Holy Spirit convicts us how we should live! Praise God!!! Today’s prayer is that we would be sensitive to not only the Word of God but also the Holy Spirit…….. Be Blessed

Prayer: Lord, help me to enjoy life more and walk through today with childlike delight and joy, savoring every blessing. Help me to focus more on your presence than problems. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The day you gave your heart to Jesus life truly began. The day you gave your life to the Lord you were so full of joy, so full of doing what was right in the Lord’s eyes, are you still that committed or have you changed? The Lord says he delights in following his ways and so should we. Today’s prayer is that we would all do a “once over” and check our condition. Are we more on fire or have our flames dwindled to smoke? …… Be Blessed and light that fire back up

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. EPHESIANS 4 : 22 – 24

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus, thank you. Because of Your great sacrifice, when God looks at me, he sees righteousness – not because of anything I’ve done, but because of You. And when He looks at others who have accepted You as their Lord and Savior, he sees the same righteousness. Help me to see the same righteousness in myself and in others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Matthew‬ ‭12‬ :‭ 23‬ -‭ 26‬

“The crowd was amazed and asked, “Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?” But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.” Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart. And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive.”

Sound familiar? Jesus spoke in Parables most of his ministry! A house can also be a Nation! Is our Nation divided? Is it USA against USA? Today’s prayer is that we would all pray for this Nation, that we would all pray that the United States would Unite! That we would all pray that the United States would be moral again! And that we would all pray God Almighty would heal this Nation…..Be Blessed

2 Corinthians 12 : 7 – 9

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12 : 7 – 9 NKJV

Do you have a thorn in your side? Or like many a whole rose bush, when trials come upon us it’s then when we go to God in prayer, Paul pleaded with The Lord to remove this from him but instead God was saying where is your faith? Don’t you understand I will deliver you from your problem?. We tend to try to fix all of our problems instead of trusting that God has us in his hand. Today rejoice when a problem comes your way, because The Lord’s promise is that he will handle it!!!! His grace will always be sufficient ………Be Blessed

“You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love. My life was preserved by your care.” ‭‭Job‬ ‭10 : 12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God cares for you! When it seems like you don’t have a friend in the world, you have a friend in God. Job went through some of the most life altering trials but still knew that God was there for him. Today’s prayer is that when we go through trials we would think of Job and have the same praising attitude that he had, praise God in the sunshine and in the storms………Be Blessed

“GOD SPEAKS TO YOU from deepest heaven. You hear GOD in the depths of your being. Deep calls unto deep. You are blessed to hear GOD so directly. Never take this privilege for granted. The best response is a heart overflowing with gratitude. The LORD is training you to cultivate a thankful mind-set. This is like building your house on a firm rock, where life’s storms cannot shake you. As you learn these lessons, you are to teach them to others. GOD will open up the way before you, one step at a time.

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. PSALM 95 : 1 – 2

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” MATTHEW 7 : 24 – 25

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I want to build the foundation of my life on you, my rock. Help me to start each day with a grateful spirit. Thank you for another day to love you and love others – our purpose in this life. Equip me to do them well for your glory. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
