“YOUR LONGING FOR HEAVEN IS GOOD, because it is an extension of your yearning for GOD. The hope of heaven is meant to strengthen and encourage you, filling you with wondrous Joy. Many Christians have misunderstood this word hope, believing that it denotes wishful thinking. Nothing could be farther from the truth! As soon as JESUS CHRIST, The LORD became your Savior, heaven became your ultimate destination. The phrase hope of heaven highlights the benefits you can enjoy even while remaining on earth. This hope keeps you spiritually alive during dark times of adversity; it brightens your path and heightens your awareness of The LORD’S Presence. GOD’S desire is that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. ROMANS 8 : 23 – 25

God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 20

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ROMANS 15 : 13

Prayer: Lord, your hope is an anchor for my soul. It’s what I cling to in dark times. May your hope fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in you, by the power of your Holy Spirit who lives in me, so that I may overflow with hope. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

TAKE TIME TO BE HOLY. The word holy does not mean goody-goody; it means set apart for sacred use. That is what these quiet moments in GOD’S Presence are accomplishing within you. As you focus your mind and heart on GOD, you are being transformed, re-created into the one The LORD designed you to be. This process requires blocks of time set aside for communion with GOD. The benefits of this practice are limitless. Emotional and physical healing are enhanced by your soaking in the Light of The LORD’S Presence. You experience a nearness to GOD that strengthens your faith and fills you with Peace. You open yourself up to receive the many blessings that GOD has prepared for you. You become a cleansed temple of GOD’S Holy Spirit, who is able to do in and through you immeasurably more than you ask or imagine. These are just some of the benefits of being still in The LORD’S Presence.”

Prayer: Lord quiet time with you has so many benefits – it’s so amazing. You fill me with peace, joy, and cleansing to better allow The Holy Spirit to do your good work through me. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear opportunities for The Holy Spirit to use me today for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“GOD IS TAKING CARE OF YOU. Feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in GOD’S loving Presence. Every detail of your life is under GOD’S control. Moreover, everything fits into a pattern for good, to those who love The LORD and are called according to HIS design and purpose. Because the world is in an abnormal, fallen condition, people tend to think that chance governs the universe. Events may seem to occur randomly, with little or no meaning. People who view the world this way have overlooked one basic fact: the limitations of human understanding. What you know of the world you inhabit is only the tip of the iceberg. Submerged beneath the surface of the visible world are mysteries too vast for you to comprehend. If you could only see how close GOD is to you and how constantly HE works on your behalf, you would never again doubt that The LORD is wonderfully caring for you. This is why you must live by faith, not by sight; trusting in GOD’S mysterious, majestic Presence.”

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28

Then Job replied to the LORD : “I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted. You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.” JOB 42 : 1 – 3

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 PETER 5 : 7

Prayer: Lord help me to see and feel how close you are to me and how you are constantly working on my behalf. And that I have three best friends with me at all times – God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. What an amazing gift. Help me to rely more on you today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
