Romans‬ ‭7‬ : ‭15 ‬- ‭17‬

“I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬ : ‭15 ‬- ‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Oh the sin nature!!! We all try to do what is right in God’s eyes but we fail miserably every day!!! Why? As Paul wrote in this scripture, the sin nature is a part of us at birth, we know what is right but we do the opposite, we know what we want to do with incredible intentions but nope!!! We fail!!! Why? Because we are not close enough to God!!!!! We pray but do we pray like the Pharisees did? Or do we have an open line of communication with God Almighty? Today’s prayer is that we would all draw closer to God, have a personal relationship with Him not a bedtime relationship!!! Draw near to God and watch the sin nature disappear ……. “GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU, HIS CHILD. Allow yourself to become fully aware of GOD’S pleasure shining upon you. You don’t have to perform well in order to receive THE LORD’S Love. In fact, a performance focus will pull you away from GOD, toward some sort of Pharisaism. This can be a subtle form of idolatry: worshiping your own good works. It can also be a source of deep discouragement when your works don’t measure up to your expectations. Shift your focus from your performance to GOD’S radiant Presence. The Light of GOD’S Love shines on you continually, regardless of your feelings or behavior. Your responsibility is to be receptive to this unconditional Love. Thankfulness and trust are your primary receptors. Thank GOD for everything; trust in GOD at all times. These simple disciplines will keep you open to GOD’S loving Presence.”

Scripture

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. EPHESIANS 2 : 8 – 9

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. PSALM 62 : 8

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you that I don’t have to perform well to receive your love. Your love is unchangeable. Nothing I do could make you love me more or less. You are my constant rock on which I stand. Teach me to love like you do. Transform my heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Trust is a character that is lacking in today’s world, to trust someone is to confide your all to them!!! When you truly understand God’s love for you it’s easy to trust him. Today I pray that we would all put our 100% trust in the Lord and not in the things of the world…….Be Blessed

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus help me to leave outcomes up to you without worry about how they will turn out. Keep my focus on the path just before me, enjoying the rhythm of a life lived close to you. Even when the path is steep, we will climb it together and I will take time to rest along the way as you refresh me in your presence. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Isaiah‬ ‭45 ‬: ‭9‬

““What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45 ‬: ‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Have you ever looked at a clump of clay? Not very attractive is it? Are we sometimes not very attractive in our appearance, actions, attitudes? The clay in the potter’s hands becomes something beautiful as he or she shapes it, the same way we become something Christ-like when God shapes us. Today’s prayer is that we allow Jesus to shape us in a way that shines like a diamond!!! And remember when trials come our way, look through the trial and know that we are victors ……. Be Blessed

COME TO GOD, and rest in The LORD’S Peace. – PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 – 7, JOHN 7 : 38, EPHESIANS 5 : 18 – 20

“COME TO GOD, and rest in The LORD’S Peace. GOD’S Face is shining upon you, in rays of Peace transcending understanding. Instead of trying to figure things out yourself, you can relax in the Presence of the One who knows everything. As you lean on GOD in trusting dependence, you feel peaceful and complete. This is how GOD designed you to live: in close communion with HIM. When you are around other people, you tend to cater to their expectations—real or imagined. You feel enslaved to pleasing them, and your awareness of GOD’S Presence grows dim. Your efforts to win their approval eventually exhaust you. You offer these people dry crumbs rather than the living water of GOD’S Holy Spirit flowing through you. This is not GOD’S way for you! Stay in touch with The LORD, even during your busiest moments. Let GOD’S Holy Spirit give you words of grace as you live in the Light of The LORD’S Peace.”

Scripture

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 – 7

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. EPHESIANS 5 : 18 – 20

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I come to you and rest in your peace. Help me to lean on you in trusting dependence, even during my busiest moments. May your Spirit give me words of grace as I live in the light of your peace today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do you know that feeling when you bless someone ? That “How good you feel” feeling? And have you ever noticed that soon after you are blessed right back? That is God’s blessings!!! Today’s prayer is that we would always help others when we can! Never expect God to bless you back just know that’s the God we serve …… Be Blessed and always be a blessing

APPROACH PROBLEMS with a light touch. – PSALM 89 : 15, JOHN 16 : 33

“APPROACH PROBLEMS with a light touch. When your mind moves toward a problem area, you tend to focus on that situation so intensely that you lose sight of GOD. You pit yourself against the difficulty as if you had to conquer it immediately. Your mind gears up for battle, and your body becomes tense and anxious. Unless you achieve total victory, you feel defeated. There is a better way. When a problem starts to overshadow your thoughts, bring this matter to GOD. Talk with The LORD about it and look at it in the Light of HIS Presence. This puts some much-needed space between you and your concern, enabling you to see from The LORD’S perspective. You will be surprised at the results. Sometimes you may even laugh at yourself for being so serious about something so insignificant. You will always face trouble in this life. But more importantly, you will always have GOD with you, helping you to handle whatever you encounter. Approach problems with a light touch by viewing them in The LORD’S revealing Light.”

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me not to be surprised or frustrated when I have trouble in this life. And help me never lose sight of the victory you’ve already won. The end is already written. Help me to talk with you about my light and momentary troubles and surrender them into your capable hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. ‭Romans‬ ‭14‬ :‭ 4‬ NLT

The world is full of people trying to play God!!! There will be a day that we all will answer to Almighty, Today I pray that we would never judge nor condemn anyone, but show the love of Jesus and let the creator do his work…….Be Blessed

‭‭John‬ ‭19 : 16 – 18

“Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.” ‭‭John‬ ‭19 : 16 – 18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Can you even imagine the King of Kings carried his own cross to his crucifixion? Jesus did nothing wrong in all his time on earth but was charged with so many false accusations. In our daily lives we also can be slandered, and how much more do we deserve it than Jesus? This is where Amazing Grace and unconditional love walked in. Today’s prayer is when times get rough we pick up our Cross and walk right to the arms of the savior, he’s always waiting with arms wide open………Be Blessed
