We tend to take all the glory when we achieve something, Jesus gave us the chance to live through his loving sacrifice so how can we not give him the glory? To be self righteous is to be distant from God. The Cross is used in so many ways in the world today, you see it displayed from necklaces to embroidered jewels on the back of jeans. This scripture says it is foolishness (just a symbol) to those who are perishing, but to those who are saved it is the power of God, what does the cross mean to you? I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. JOHN 14 : 26 – 27
