TRUST GOD, and don’t be afraid. – ISAIAH 12 : 2, PSALM 61 : 2 – 4, 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18

“TRUST GOD, and don’t be afraid. Many things feel out of control. Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable. Let GOD lead you to the rock that is higher than you and your circumstances. Take refuge in the shelter of GOD’S wings, where you are absolutely secure. When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip The LORD’S hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new. GOD leads you on from glory to glory, making you fit for HIS kingdom. Say yes to the ways GOD works in your life. Trust GOD, and don’t be afraid.”

Scripture

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2

From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. PSALM 61 : 2 – 4

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18 (NKJV)

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me when things feel unpredictable and uncomfortable, help me to look for growth opportunities and accept the challenge of something new. You are leading me and molding me to look more and more like Jesus. I trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Matthew‬ ‭9:13

“But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you think you’re not good enough? Do you think you have to get your act cleaned up before you can call upon the Lord? Jesus tells us he did not call for the righteous but the sinners to repent. Most of the Christians I know (including myself) could not have been further from God when they met him and most of them are the most on fire believers I know. Today’s prayer is that we would witness our testimony to those who do not believe and let them know Jesus is waiting with arms wide open no matter where they are…….Be Blessed

PEACE IS GOD’S CONTINUAL GIFT TO YOU. – EXODUS 16 : 15 – 20, PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 – 7, 19, HEBREWS 4 : 16

“PEACE IS GOD’S CONTINUAL GIFT TO YOU. It flows abundantly from GOD’S throne of grace. Just as the Israelites could not store up manna for the future but had to gather it daily, so it is with GOD’S Peace. The day-by-day collecting of manna kept The LORD’S people aware of their dependence on HIM. Similarly, GOD gives you sufficient Peace for the present, when you come to HIM by prayer and petition with thanksgiving. If GOD gave you permanent Peace, independent of HIS Presence, you might fall into the trap of self-sufficiency. May that never be! GOD has designed you to need HIM moment by moment. As your awareness of your neediness increases, so does your realization of GOD’S abundant sufficiency. The LORD can meet every one of your needs without draining HIS resources at all. Approach GOD’S throne of grace with bold confidence, receiving GOD’S Peace with a thankful heart.”

Scripture

Moses said to them, “It is the bread the LORD has given you to eat. This is what the LORD has commanded: ‘Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.’” The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. . . . Each one gathered as much as he needed. Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.” However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them. EXODUS 16 : 15 – 20

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. . . . And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 – 7, 19

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. HEBREWS 4 : 16

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for your abundant mercy, grace, and love you shower on me each day. Give me your peace for today, Lord. Holy Spirit please fill me with the fruits of the Spirit so much so that they overflow onto those around me today and they see You. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

James‬ ‭3:9-10

“With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3:9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

James has always been one of my favorite books, hard but true. In this passage he speaks of praising the Lord and cursing mankind with the same mouth. Have you ever woken up in the morning and went to prayer then on your way to work been cut off in traffic and said some not nice words? I think we all have. Today’s prayer is that by the power of the Holy Spirit we would be so filled with God’s word that only good comes from our mouths……Be Blessed

GOD IS CALLING YOU to a life of thankfulness. – ISAIAH 6 : 3, 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7, 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

“GOD IS CALLING YOU to a life of thankfulness. GOD wants all your moments to be punctuated with thanksgiving. The basis for your gratitude is GOD’S sovereignty. GOD is the Creator and Controller of the universe. Heaven and earth are filled with The LORD’S glorious Presence. When you criticize or complain, you are acting as if you think you could run the world better than GOD does. From your limited human perspective, it may look as if The LORD is mismanaging things. But you don’t know what The LORD knows or see what HE sees. If GOD pulled back the curtain to allow you to view heavenly realms, you would understand much more. However, The LORD has designed you to live by faith, not by sight. GOD lovingly shields you from knowing the future or seeing into the spirit world. Acknowledge GOD’S sovereignty by giving thanks in all circumstances.”

Scripture

And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” ISAIAH 6 : 3

We live by faith, not by sight. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 18

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to live a life of thankfulness. If you did nothing else but die on the cross for my sins that would have been enough to give thanks and praise to you all the days of my life. But in your goodness you do more each day. Thank you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.

3 John‬ ‭1:4

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
‭‭3 John‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

To make God smile is to walk in his ways! I believe when we try our best to do good whether or not we succeed it makes God smile (and yes we fail every day) thank God for the grace given to us. Today’s prayer is that we all would do our best to please God by our daily actions and show his love to everyone……..Be Blessed

Galatians‬ ‭5:22

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

All of these traits have an opposite, love/hate, joy/misery, forbearance/impatience, kindness/hatefulness, goodness/bad, faithfulness/unfaithfulness. Measure yourself? Today’s prayer is that we would exercise all of the positive traits of the spirit and let our Jesus shine bright……Be Blessed

Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭21

And his name will be the hope of all the world.” Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭21‬ NLT

Isaiah spoke plain and clear about Jesus in this prophecy. What are you hoping for? Who have you put your hope in? Today’s prayer is that we all would remember who we put our trust in, we put our trust in Jesus Christ the hope of the world, so when the waters get rough remember this scripture……Be Blessed

    Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭12-13‬

I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. ‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭12-13‬ NLT

Is Jesus your refuge? He is the only true refuge we have. Have you ever noticed when things get really tough there always seems to be relief show up. Jesus is our truth, way and life stand on the principles that Jesus gave us and all will work out in the end. Today I pray that we all would believe that we CAN do all things through Christ who gives us strength….be blessed
