The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! Luke 2:11 NLT
Today is not only a day of presents and time with family but most importantly it’s about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Today’s prayer is that we all have a day of peace and joy with our loved ones and reflect on the true meaning of why we celebrate Christmas….. Merry Christmas to all and Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:10-11
From his first hours Jesus was receiving gifts, the greatest gift we can give him is our worship, give him ourselves completely. Today I pray on the eve of our Savior’s birth that we give him our complete worship and thank him for all he has done in our lives…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD SPEAKS TO YOU from the depths of eternity. Before the world was formed, GOD was there. You hear The LORD in the depths of your being, where HE has taken up residence. The LORD is Christ in you, the hope of Glory. JESUS CHRIST, your Lord and Savior, is alive within you. Learn to tune in to GOD’S living Presence by seeking HIM in silence. As you celebrate the wonder of CHRIST The LORD’S birth in Bethlehem, celebrate also your rebirth into eternal life. This everlasting gift was the sole purpose of JESUS CHRIST entering your sin-stained world. Receive The LORD’S gift with awe and humility. Take time to explore the vast dimensions of GOD’S Love. Allow thankfulness to flow freely from your heart in response to HIS glorious gift. Let GOD’S Peace rule in your heart, and be thankful.”
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. PSALM 90 : 2
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1 : 27
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. COLOSSIANS 3 : 15
Prayer: Lord help me to tune into your living presence by seeking you in silence. Thank you for sending your son to make the ultimate sacrifice so I could be with you for eternity. This Christmas help me to keep my eyes focused on Jesus and gratitude for what he did. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“THE LORD IS KING OF KINGS and Lord of lords, dwelling in dazzlingly bright Light! JESUS CHRIST is also your Shepherd, Companion, and Friend—the One who never lets go of your hand. Worship The LORD in HIS Holy Majesty; come close to CHRIST, and rest in HIS Presence. You need CHRIST The LORD both as God and as Man. Only JESUS CHRIST’S Incarnation on that first, long-ago Christmas could fulfill your neediness. Since CHRIST went to such extreme measures to save you from your sins, you can be assured that HE will graciously give you all you need. Nurture well your trust in The LORD as Savior, Lord, and Friend. CHRIST has held back nothing in HIS provision for you. The LORD has even deigned to live within you! Rejoice in all that CHRIST The LORD has done for you, and HIS Light will shine through you into the world.”
. . . which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15 – 16
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. PSALM 95 : 6 – 7
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ROMANS 8 : 32
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 PETER 1 : 19
Prayer: Lord thank you for being my King and my closest most trusted friend. Thank you for generously giving me all I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10 NKJV
It’s two days before Christmas and all is well with our souls. This scripture talks about how we did not love God but he loved us!!! He loved us so much that he gave his only Son Jesus. Today’s prayer is that we would always show our love for our Lord, do our best to live a life that is pleasing to God and let the Holy Spirit guide our ways……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“COME TO JESUS CHRIST The LORD, and rest in HIS Presence. As you ponder the majestic mystery of the Incarnation, relax in CHRIST’S everlasting arms. JESUS CHRIST is the only Person who was ever sired by the Holy Spirit. This is beyond your understanding. Instead of trying to comprehend CHRIST’S Incarnation intellectually, learn from the example of the wise men. They followed the leading of a spectacular star, then fell down in humble worship when they found The LORD. Praise and worship are the best responses to the wonder of CHRIST’S Being. Sing praises to The LORD’S holy Name. Gaze at HIM in silent adoration. Look for a star of guidance in your own life, and be willing to follow wherever JESUS leads. CHRIST The LORD is the Light from on high that dawns upon you, to guide your feet into the way of Peace.”
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” LUKE 1 : 35
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. JOHN 1 : 14
When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. MATTHEW 2 : 9 – 11 (NKJV)
Prayer: Lord, I come to you and rest in your presence. Open my eyes to see your guidance in my life and help me to have the courage to follow wherever you lead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
Where do you put your trust and value? Are you worried about the present or your future? This scripture tells us that things not seen are eternal. We all tend to look at the things that are seen! Our financial stature, our status in society, how many things we have that impress people ? Today’s prayer is that we would understand that we have a perfect eternal life waiting for us!!!! So don’t fret about what we may not have in this life but trust in our promised eternal life …….. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE is unfolding before you. Sometimes the road you are traveling seems blocked, or it opens up so painfully slowly that you must hold yourself back. Then, when time is right, the way before you suddenly clears—through no effort of your own. What you have longed for and worked for GOD presents to you freely, as pure gift. You feel awed by the ease with which GOD operates in the world, and you glimpse HIS Power and HIS Glory. Do not fear your weakness, for it is the stage on which GOD’S Power and Glory perform most brilliantly. As you persevere along the path The LORD has prepared for you, depending on HIS strength to sustain you, expect to see miracles—and you will. Miracles are not always visible to the naked eye, but those who live by faith can see them clearly. Living by faith, rather than sight, enables you to see GOD’S Glory.”
I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. PSALM 63 : 2
We live by faith, not by sight. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 7
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” JOHN 11 : 40
Prayer: Just as the Israelites waited 100s of years for You to fulfill your promise to send a Savior. Christmas is one of the best reminders that you keep your promises, Lord. You sent Jesus as the ultimate gift to show that you want to be with us for eternity. Thank you sweet Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” Luke 14:34-35 NKJV
It’s a privilege to be a Christian it’s also our obligation to witness the gospel to all we can. To say you’re a Christian is one thing but are you actively pursuing souls for Christ? Thus salt without flavor is useless. Today’s prayer is we would be more than just professing Christians but be active Christians……….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“WHEN JESUS CHRIST JOINED THE RANKS of humanity, born into the humblest conditions, CHRIST’S Glory was hidden from all but a few people. Occasionally, streaks of Glory shone out of CHRIST, especially when HE began to do miracles. Toward the end of CHRIST The LORD’S life, HE was taunted and tempted to display more of HIS awesome Power than HIS Father’s plan permitted. JESUS CHRIST could have called down legions of angels to rescue HIM at any point. Imagine the self-control required of a martyr who could free Himself at will! All of this was necessary to provide the relationship with The LORD that you now enjoy. Let your life become a praise song to CHRIST The LORD by proclaiming The LORD’S glorious Presence in the world.”
This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. JOHN 2 : 11
The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar. . . . LUKE 23 : 35 – 36
It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! PSALM 92 : 1 – 5
Prayer: Lord thank you for loving us so much you gave us Jesus. Fill me with all joy and peace so my life is a praise song to you, proclaiming your goodness and mercy and nearness that follow us all the days of our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
