Matthew‬ ‭25:34-40

““Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’” Matthew‬ ‭25:34-40‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This scripture is so powerful!!! Jesus speaks of helping those in need, beings that he considers all creation his. When was the last time you lent a helping hand to a complete stranger? When was the last time you made a selfless act of kindness? Today’s prayer is that we would see Jesus in all we come across and treat them as if they were the most special person on earth…….Be Blessed

“A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Have you ever met that “know it all person”? That “been there done that person” I think we all have, and I think we all have been that person to some extent at some point. To be wise is to be humble and continue to learn, to have been there done that is to take a life lesson out of each experience and see if we are using it to Glorify God! Today’s prayer is to apply this Proverb to our lives and pray for the wisdom of Solomon……Be Blessed

Are you encouraging your brothers and sisters in Christ or discouraging them? One of the biggest attributes of the Church is encouragement. When a brother or sister needs help, direction, discernment, or just encouragement make sure to be there for them. “REST IN GOD. This time devoted to GOD is meant to be peaceful, not stressful. You don’t have to perform in order to receive GOD’S Love. The LORD has boundless, unconditional Love for you. How it grieves GOD to see HIS children working for Love: trying harder and harder, yet never feeling good enough to be loved. Be careful that your devotion to The LORD does not become another form of “works”. GOD wants you to come into HIS Presence joyfully and confidently. You have nothing to fear, for you wear The LORD’S own righteousness. Gaze into The LORD’s eyes, and you will see no condemnation, only Love and delight in the one GOD sees. Be blessed as GOD’S Face shines radiantly upon you, giving you Peace.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you for encouraging me to slow down each day and rest in you. You want me to have peace and joy and a good night’s sleep – show me how in living a life close to you I can enjoy all those gifts. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ NLT

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. ‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ NLT

Isn’t it nice to know that this is how God feels about us, He loves us so much that we are his chosen people. The world says hold your own and watch out for number one but as God’s chosen people we should show the same love and compassion as he does. Today I pray that we all would show that same love, as hard as it is and to remember the mercy and grace that we have been given……Be Blessed

“WORSHIP GOD by living close to HIM. This was GOD’S original design for man, into whom GOD breathed HIS very breath of Life. This is GOD’S desire for you: that you stay near HIM as you walk along your life-path. Each day is an important part of that journey. Although you may feel as if you are going nowhere in this world, your spiritual journey is another matter altogether, taking you along steep, treacherous paths of adventure. That is why walking in the Light of The LORD’S Presence is essential to keep you from stumbling. By staying close to GOD, you present yourself as a living sacrifice. Even the most routine part of your day can be a spiritual act of worship, holy and pleasing to GOD.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord without you I can do nothing of eternal significance. I surrender my will for yours today Lord and ask you to align my heart with yours. Help me to walk closely with you on life’s journey, to love you and love others well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. ‭John‬ ‭17‬:‭22-23‬ NLT

Jesus said he gave us perfect unity so that our witness will be different from the world, how is your witness working out? Do you respond to situations like someone who doesn’t know Jesus? Or do you respond with the values of the promise he gave us? Today I pray that our responses would be filled with faith and on the foundation of God’s living word and promise…..Be Blessed

“COME TO GOD AND REST. Give your mind a break from its habitual judging. You form judgments about this situation, that situation, this person, that person, yourself, even the weather—as if judging were your main function in life. But GOD created you first and foremost to know HIM and to live in rich communication with HIM. When you become preoccupied with passing judgment, you usurp GOD’S role. Relate to GOD as creature to Creator, sheep to Shepherd, subject to King, clay to Potter. Allow GOD to have HIS way in your life. Rather than evaluating GOD’S ways with you, accept them thankfully. The intimacy The LORD offers you is not an invitation to act as if you were HIS equal. Worship GOD as King of kings while walking hand in hand with The LORD down the path of Life.”

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” MATTHEW 7 : 1

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. JOHN 17 : 3

But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use? ROMANS 9 : 20 – 21

. . . which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords. 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 15

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, you are King of Kings, Lord of Lords. I come to worship you for who you are, what you’ve done, and for what you are doing and going to do in my life. Thank you for adopting me into your family and walking hand in hand with me through life. Your grateful child. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

James‬ ‭3:2-5‬

“We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3:2-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are the words you’re speaking into people’s lives edifying or damning? From the ” good morning” to the “what’s wrong with you idiot”. James speaks clearly about the power of the tongue in this scripture just how powerful one little word can affect someone. Today’s prayer is that we would all let God put a bit in our mouths or a rudder on our tongue, that we would edify people no matter how we feel. When someone wrongs you hand it over to God and bite down on that bit……..Be Blessed and tell someone “Good Morning”

“RECEIVE GOD’S PEACE. It is GOD’S continual gift to you. The best way to receive this gift is to sit quietly in The LORD’S Presence, trusting HIM in every area of your life. Quietness and trust accomplish far more than you can imagine: not only in you, but also on earth and in heaven. When you trust GOD in a given area, you release that problem or person into HIS care. Spending time alone with GOD can be a difficult discipline, because it goes against the activity addiction of this age. You may appear to be doing nothing, but actually you are participating in battles going on within spiritual realms. You are waging war—not with the weapons of the world, but with heavenly weapons, which have divine power to demolish strongholds. Living close to GOD is a sure defense against evil.”

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” ISAIAH 30 : 15

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 CORINTHIANS 10 : 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I want to receive your peace by sitting still and quiet in your presence, allowing your peace to permeate every inch of my being. When I do, I am waging war against spiritual battles with spiritual weapons. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
