‭‭1 John‬ ‭2 : 5 – 6

“But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2 : 5 – 6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This scripture breaks it down in such simple terms it’s amazing. If someone asked you do you love God what would your response be? Of course it would be YES!!! So if you love God don’t you want to try to please Him at all times? To live like Jesus Christ is to live a life that is pleasing to GOD, have a heart of a servant. Today’s prayer is that we would wake up daily and start our day out by praying “Heavenly Father let me not serve myself today, but serve only you” let your will be done throughout my day and make this day not mine but yours” I believe this confession will help us all live more like Jesus Christ …….. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” Philippians‬ ‭2 : 3 – 4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When you do something nice for someone do you expect something or just do it from humility and love? This scripture tells us to do nothing out of selfishness or vain conceit. Today’s prayer is that we would have the mind of Christ in all things, live humble and experience true joy. ……. Be Blessed

Scripture

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” JOHN 4 : 23 – 24

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. PSALM 100 : 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord I have much to be thankful for. I know every good gift comes from you so thank you for the many many blessings in my life. Help them be reminders to me of your goodness, kindness, faithfulness, and love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭3 : 13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you work unto the Lord or to man? To work unto man is to please him no matter what the compromise!!! To work unto the Lord is to have the most uncompromising value there is!!! Today’s prayer is that we would have the utmost moral value in all we do and as Christians we should have that moral in all we do!!!! Shine the light of the Lord, Always be humble and do what is right …… fire refines as it destroys ……. Be Blessed

“GOD’S CHILDREN make a pastime of judging one another — and themselves. But GOD is the only capable Judge, and The LORD has acquitted you through HIS own blood. Your acquittal came at the price of The LORD, JESUS CHRIST’S unparalleled sacrifice. That is why The LORD is highly offended when HE hears HIS children judge one another or indulge in self-hatred. If you live close to GOD and absorb HIS Word, The Holy Spirit will guide and correct you as needed. There is no condemnation for those who belong to GOD.” 

Scripture

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” LUKE 6 : 37 

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 TIMOTHY 4 : 8 

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. TITUS 3 : 5 

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ROMANS 8 : 1

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to live close to you and absorb your word. May your Holy Spirit guide and correct me as needed when my thoughts and words aren’t pleasing to you. Let only things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and admirable come out of my mouth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 4 : 11 , 12

that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. 1 Thessalonians 4 : 11 , 12 NKJV

The world is trying to suck everyone into the drama, outside situations try to consume your time and joy. This scripture says to mind your own business, and pay attention to your own. Loving one another is the greatest command, but you don’t have to love other’s problems ……. Today I pray peace over all, that we would focus on our situations and not others …… Be blessed

TASTE AND SEE THAT GOD IS GOOD.  – PSALM 34 : 8, ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9

“TASTE AND SEE THAT GOD IS GOOD. This command contains an invitation to experience GOD’S living Presence. It also contains a promise. The more you experience GOD, the more convinced you become of HIS goodness. This knowledge is essential to your faith-walk. When adversities strike, the human instinct is to doubt GOD’S goodness. The LORD’s ways are mysterious, even to those who know GOD intimately. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are GOD”S ways and thoughts higher than your ways and thoughts. Do not try to fathom GOD’S ways. Instead, spend time enjoying The LORD and experiencing HIS goodness.”

Scripture

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. PSALM 34 : 8

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, the more I experience you, the more convinced I am of your goodness. Like Job, help me to not hold onto anything tighter than I hold onto you and even in adversity may I be able to say, “the Lord gives and takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4 : 4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The world can just straight out kick you butt!!! But will you let it? This scripture tells us that greater is HE ( Jesus Christ ) that is in us than he ( Satan ) who is in the world. Day by day can be rough but we have to confess this scripture when the trials arise. Today’s prayer is that we would not become prisoners to the evil ways of the world and fully understand our eternal future …… Be Blessed

GOD IS LIFE AND LIGHT IN ABUNDANCE.  – PSALM 48 : 9, DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12, PSALM 37 : 4

“GOD IS LIFE AND LIGHT IN ABUNDANCE. As you spend time “soaking” in GOD’S Presence, you are energized and lightened. Through communing with The LORD, you transfer your heavy burdens to HIS strong shoulders. By gazing at GOD, you gain HIS perspective on your life. This time alone with GOD is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you. Be willing to fight for this precious time with The LORD. Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from GOD; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively. As you grow in your desire to please GOD above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents. Delight yourself in GOD, for HE is the deepest Desire of your heart.”

About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Prayer

Prayer: Lord Jesus, you are my Life and my Light, and I need time with You more than anything. Help me fight through every distraction to rest in Your Presence, where burdens lift and perspective clears. Be the deepest desire of my heart today and every day. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭8 : 10 – 12‬

“And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago; but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭8 : 10 – 12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Where is your life now as compared to where it was a year ago? Are you in the same place? Are you in a better place? Are you in a worse place? Are you still on fire for the gospel the same? Well only you and God know. I believe the world has changed a lot of lives for the worse!!! But if we are grounded in the Gospel we are doing us with God. Today’s prayer is that we would all go back to the basics and make sure God is our foundation, not the world’s issues!!!! Be Blessed
