“AS YOU LOOK at the day before you, you see a twisted, complicated path, with branches going off in all directions. You wonder how you can possibly find your way through that maze. Then you remember the One who is with you always, holding you by your right hand. You recall GOD’S promise to guide you with HIS counsel, and you begin to relax. As you look again at the path ahead, you notice that a peaceful fog has settled over it, obscuring your view. You can see only a few steps in front of you, so you turn your attention more fully to GOD and begin to enjoy HIS Presence. The fog is a protection for you, calling you back into the present moment. Although GOD inhabits all of space and time, you can communicate with GOD only here and now. Someday the fog will no longer be necessary, for you will have learned to keep your focus on GOD and on the path just ahead of you.”

Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. PSALM 73 : 23 – 24

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 CORINTHIANS 13 : 12

Prayer: Lord when all I can see is a twisted and complicated path up ahead, gently remind me of your promises to hold me by my right hand, to guide me with your counsel, and hold onto the hope that one day you will take me home to be with you for eternity where there will be no more tears or pain or suffering. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

APPROACH PROBLEMS with a light touch. When your mind moves toward a problem area, you tend to focus on that situation so intensely that you lose sight of GOD. You pit yourself against the difficulty as if you had to conquer it immediately. Your mind gears up for battle, and your body becomes tense and anxious. Unless you achieve total victory, you feel defeated. There is a better way. When a problem starts to overshadow your thoughts, bring this matter to GOD. Talk with The LORD about it and look at it in the Light of GOD’S Presence. This puts some much-needed space between you and your concern, enabling you to see from The LORD’S perspective. You will be surprised at the results. Sometimes you may even laugh at yourself for being so serious about something so insignificant. You will always face trouble in this life. But more importantly, you will always have GOD with you, helping you to handle whatever you encounter. Approach problems with a light touch by viewing them in GOD’S revealing Light.”

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33

Prayer: Lord help me not to be surprised or frustrated when I have trouble in this life. And help me never lose sight of the victory you’ve already won. The end is already written. Help me to talk with you about my light and momentary troubles and surrender them into your capable hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Can you imagine walking with Jesus and being one of his disciples? Can you imagine all that they witnessed? Oh to be one of them. God left us the next best thing “The Bible”; this is how we let God teach us. Today’s prayer is that we would all dust off the table ornament and read one scripture a day, watch the renewing happen…….Be Blessed

“BASK IN THE LUXURY of being fully understood and unconditionally loved. Dare to see yourself as GOD sees you: radiant in GOD’S righteousness, cleansed by the blood of The LORD, JESUS CHRIST. GOD views you as the one HE created you to be, the one you will be in actuality when heaven becomes your home. It is GOD’S Life within you that is changing you from glory to glory. Rejoice in this mysterious miracle! Thank The LORD continually for the amazing gift of GOD’S Holy Spirit within you. Try to depend on the help of the Spirit as you go through this day of life. Pause briefly from time to time so you can consult with this Holy One inside you. GOD will not force you to do His bidding, but GOD will guide you as you give Him space in your life. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 : 21

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18 (NKJV)

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. GALATIANS 5 : 25

Prayer: Lord help me to depend on your Holy Spirit more today than I did yesterday. To pause to consult with Him before making a decision so I can do your will. Holy Spirit, control my thoughts, my words, and my actions today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, so our land will be filled with his glory.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭85‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I believe this scripture is speaking of the Holy Spirit! That still small voice we hear, are you listening? I sure hope so because that voice is our GPS to put it into today’s terms. “DO NOT LET any set of circumstances intimidate you. The more challenging your day, the more of GOD’S Power HE places at your disposal. You seem to think that GOD empowers you equally each day, but this is not so. Your tendency upon awakening is to assess the difficulties ahead of you, measuring them against your average strength. This is an exercise in unreality. GOD knows what each of your days will contain, and The LORD empowers you accordingly. The degree to which GOD strengthens you on a given day is based mainly on two variables: the difficulty of your circumstances, and your willingness to depend on The LORD for help. Try to view challenging days as opportunities to receive more of GOD’S Power than usual. Look to GOD for all that you need, and watch to see what The LORD will do. As your day, so shall your strength be.”

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms. EPHESIANS 1 : 18 – 20

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. PSALM 105 : 4

Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your strength be. DEUTERONOMY 33 : 25 (NKJV)

Prayer: God you know what challenges and triumphs are up ahead. When challenges come, help me to view them as opportunities to receive more of your power and strength than usual. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

FOCUS YOUR ENTIRE BEING on GOD’S living Presence. GOD is most assuredly with you, enveloping you in HIS Love and Peace. While you relax in GOD’S Presence, HE is molding your mind and cleansing your heart. The LORD is recreating you into the one HE designed you to be. As you move from stillness into the activities of your day, do not relinquish your attentiveness to GOD. If something troubles you, talk it over with The LORD. If you get bored with what you are doing, fill the time with prayers and praise. When someone irritates you, don’t let your thoughts linger on that person’s faults. Gently nudge your mind back to GOD. Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on GOD. Any day can be a good day, because The LORD’S Presence permeates all time.

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness. PSALM 89 : 15 – 16

This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 1 JOHN 3 : 19 – 20

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. JUDE 24 – 25

In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. PSALM 41 : 12

Prayer: Lord while I relax in your presence, thank you for molding my mind and cleansing my heart. As I move into the activities of my day, help me to keep my focus on you Jesus and remember you have sealed me for eternity. Nothing can change the end of my story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
