“FIND FREEDOM through seeking to please GOD above all else. You can have only one Master. When you let others’ expectations drive you, you scatter your energy to the winds. Your own desire to look good can also drain your energy. GOD is your Master, and GOD does not drive you to be what you are not. Your pretense displeases The LORD, especially when it is in HIS “service.” Concentrate on staying close to GOD at all times. It is impossible to be inauthentic while you are focusing on The LORD’S Presence.”

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. EPHESIANS 5 : 8 – 10

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one Master and you are all brothers.” MATTHEW 23 : 8

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 6 : 1

Prayer: God, search me and check my heart. Show me the broken places where I’m seeking to please myself or others above you. Help me to deal with them for my good and your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Are you feeling down, stressed, alone today? There is a great comfort in our Lord Jesus, he has given us an eternal promise that will never fail. Today’s prayer is that we would rest in the comfort of our savior and realize man will fail us but Jesus never will. He is always there for us……..Be Blessed and turn to Jesus

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” John‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬ NLT

Jesus brought light into a darkened world, from the beginning God’s plan was to have a perfect life for mankind but that was lost in the garden when sin entered. Today Jesus has conquered that sin once and for all!!! As believers we have that eternal light, that eternal life. Today I pray that even in this darkened world that we would let our light shine knowing the eternal promise we have in Jesus Christ …..Be Blessed

“REST IN GOD’S PRESENCE WHEN you need refreshment. Resting is not necessarily idleness, as people often perceive it. When you relax in GOD’S company, you are demonstrating trust in GOD. Trust is a rich word, laden with meaning and direction for your life. GOD wants you to lean on, trust, and be confident in HIM. When you lean on The LORD for support, HE delights in your trusting confidence. Many people turn away from GOD when they are exhausted. They associate GOD with duty and diligence, so they try to hide from HIS Presence when they need a break from work. How this saddens GOD! As The LORD spoke through HIS prophet Isaiah: In returning to GOD and resting in GOD you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.”

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. PROVERBS 3 : 5

For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength. But you were unwilling, ISAIAH 30 : 15

Prayer: God help me to rest in you when I’m tired and need refreshment. Quietness and trust in you is my strength. You alone can satisfy my thirsty soul. Create in me a desire to grow closer to you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

““O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:55-57‬ ‭

Oh Condemnation, what a terrible thing!!! We all go through it. The biggest question we ask ourselves “are we even good enough to be Christians” ? Well of course!! To be a Christian is to be Christ driven!! What did Christ do? He loved all, he ate with sinners, he went to the cross for you and me!!!!! So are we good enough? Well brothers and sisters we better be good enough because we have eternal life because of Christ!!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would step up our game and start acting like we are Christ driven not driven by a broken world. When we judge and condemn remember how Christ sees us…….Be Blessed and love all

“SEEK GOD’S FACE, and you will find all that you have longed for. The deepest yearnings of your heart are for intimacy with The LORD. GOD knows, because HE designed you to desire HIM. Do not feel guilty about taking time to be still in The LORD’S Presence. You are simply responding to the tugs of divinity within you. GOD made you in HIS image, and GOD hid heaven in your heart. Your yearning for GOD is a form of homesickness: longing for your true home in heaven. Do not be afraid to be different from other people. The path GOD has called you to travel is exquisitely right for you. The more closely you follow GOD’s leading, the more fully HE can develop your gifts. To follow The LORD wholeheartedly, you must relinquish your desire to please other people. However, your closeness to GOD will bless others by enabling you to shine brightly in this dark world.”

Prayer: Lord only you can truly satisfy and fulfill my soul. It is you my heart longs for. Help me to spend time in your presence each day, while you fill me to overflowing so I can bless others for your glory. The closer I am to you, the more at peace my soul is. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭23-24‬ NLT

Are you anxious about anything? Are you focusing on the negative surroundings? This psalm is saying put your everything in the hands of God, the impure thoughts, worry, stress, anger, God can handle it. Today I pray that we would have God search our hearts and take any imperfections and make them perfect. God is our strength he is our rock…….Be Blessed

“BRING GOD ALL YOUR FEELINGS, even the ones you wish you didn’t have. Fear and anxiety still plague you. Feelings per se are not sinful, but they can be temptations to sin. Blazing missiles of fear fly at you day and night; these attacks from the evil one come at you relentlessly. Use your shield of faith to extinguish those flaming arrows. Affirm your trust in GOD, regardless of how you feel. If you persist, your feelings will eventually fall in line with your faith. Do not hide from your fear or pretend it isn’t there. Anxiety that you hide in the recesses of your heart will give birth to fear of fear: a monstrous stepchild. Bring your anxieties out into the Light of GOD’S Presence, where you can deal with them together. Concentrate on trusting GOD, and fearfulness will gradually lose its foothold within you.”

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. EPHESIANS 6 : 16

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 JOHN 1 : 5 – 7

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2

Prayer: Lord, I affirm my trust in You, regardless of my feelings. I bring all my feelings to you to sort out and work through. Help me to put on the full armor you have given me and to activate them all with prayer. In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Can you imagine what kind of awesome witness this was!!! Paul and Silas had been beaten and were sitting in a prison cell and still praising The Lord. How many times do we praise God in the middle of a trial? How often do we thank God for the trial?. Today I pray that we would be such a great witness that in the middle of chaos we would praise God for his supernatural works and let others see the unending trust we have in the awesome God we serve…..Be Blessed to Be a Blessing

“GOD IS NEARER than you think, richly present in all your moments. You are connected to GOD by Love-bonds that nothing can sever. However, you may sometimes feel alone, because your union with The LORD is invisible. Ask The LORD to open your eyes, so that you can find HIM everywhere. The more aware you are of The LORD’S Presence, the safer you feel. This is not some sort of escape from reality; it is tuning into ultimate reality. GOD is far more Real than the world you can see, hear, and touch. Faith is the confirmation of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.”

“God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” ACTS 17 : 27 – 28

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. HEBREWS 11 : 1

Prayer: Lord open my eyes, my spouse’s eyes, and my children’s eyes to find you everywhere. To know you are more real than anything on this earth. Help us to live out our purpose this week – to love God and love others. With your help we can do both well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
