“DRAW NEAR TO GOD with a thankful heart, aware that your cup is overflowing with blessings. Gratitude enables you to perceive GOD more clearly and to rejoice in your Love-relationship. Nothing can separate you from GOD’S loving Presence! That is the basis of your security. Whenever you start to feel anxious, remind yourself that your security rests in The LORD alone, and The LORD is totally trustworthy. You will never be in control of your life circumstances, but you can relax and trust in GOD’S control. Instead of striving for a predictable, safe lifestyle, seek to know GOD in greater depth and breadth. The LORD longs to make your life a glorious adventure, but you must stop clinging to old ways. GOD is always doing something new within HIS beloved ones. Be on the lookout for all that GOD has prepared for you.”

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 8 : 38 – 39

Prayer: Lord help me not to strive for a predictable, safe life, but instead follow you with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength in the glorious adventure you planned in advance for me. All for your glory and not mine. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:4

It is so important to witness to everyone we can! The world is broken and needs Jesus. The same love and mercy is available to everyone and it’s our job as Christians to spread the good news. Today’s prayer is that we would have the direction of the Holy Spirit to tell everyone about what Jesus has done in our lives……Be Blessed

to proclaim liberty to the captives,and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor,and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; Isaiah 61:1-2

July 4th is the known day of freedom! The Birthday of America! Oh yeah and fireworks. The true meaning of freedom is as described in the passage, true freedom comes from Jesus Christ. Today’s prayer is for all to thank Jesus for the deliverance from whatever bondage you have been delivered from, remember where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom…….Be Blessed, Be Safe. Though you cannot hear their voices, your praise and thanksgiving are distinctly audible in heaven. Your petitions are also heard, but it is your gratitude that clears the way to GOD’S Heart. With the way between us wide open, GOD’S blessings fall upon you in rich abundance. The greatest blessing is nearness to GOD—abundant Joy and Peace in HIS Presence. Practice praising and thanking GOD continually throughout this day.”

Prayer: Lord, I have much to be thankful for. I know every good gift comes from you so thank you for the many many blessings in my life. Help them be reminders to me of your goodness, kindness, faithfulness, and love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Peter 1:18-21

knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:18-21 NKJV

Payments for things of the world are all temporary, you pay your mortgage and payment is required a month later, you pay your car payment and it’s again due next month. On that day at Calvary payment for our lives was given once and for all!!!!! Never again is payment needed, you could say Jesus has the title to our souls. Today realize the liberty we have in Jesus and praise his Holy name, all around us is temporal but heaven is eternal………….Be Blessed

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1John‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Who are you walking with? Are you light or dark? It’s so easy to slip in the dark with your surroundings but remember the blood of Christ has redeemed us from the sinful nature!!!! Today’s prayer is that no matter what is going on around us we would always be a light unto the Lord and when it gets tempting to fall into the sinful nature we would pray God give us your strength and wisdom……. Matthew 6:13 NIV

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’” Matthew 6:13 NIV

The translation of temptation in the Greek is “testing”. I believe we are all put to a test daily, and I believe God will deliver us from that situation when we are in tune with him. God has delivered us from many situations or strongholds and the most important is eternal. Today’s prayer is that we would be continuous in prayer and live a life that is pleasing to God………Be Blessed

“GOD IS LIFE AND LIGHT IN ABUNDANCE. As you spend time “soaking” in GOD’S Presence, you are energized and lightened. Through communing with The LORD, you transfer your heavy burdens to GOD’S strong shoulders. By gazing at The LORD, you gain HIS perspective on your life. This time alone with GOD is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you. Be willing to fight for this precious time with GOD. Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from GOD; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively. As you grow in your desire to please GOD above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents. Delight yourself in The LORD, for GOD is the deepest Desire of your heart.”

Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. PSALM 48 : 9

About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.” DEUTERONOMY 33 : 12

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Personal Note: I know how easy it is to get distracted when trying to spend time alone with The LORD in prayer or studying HIS Word. During the summer months I don’t have to get up as early due to not having to get kids up and ready for school so I get to sleep in later. That means that by the time I’m ready to sit down and spend time in morning prayers and bible study before I start my work day sometimes the work related emails and notices have started to flow and is easy to think “I’ll do this one quick thing” and lose track of time and end up with less time or no time to spend in studying HIS Word.

Prayer: God help me to fight for spending time in your presence each day. When I do, you help me in so many ways. To see things from your perspective, to transfer my burdens to your strong shoulders, and to unscramble my thoughts. Thank you sweet Jesus. Amen.

Jesus paid a debt that we could never pay, So forgiveness should be a natural part of a Christian’s life even if it seems impossible. Today’s prayer is we would all have a heart full of forgiveness and remember what took place at Calvary ………Be Blessed

GOD is the Way and the Truth and the Life. As you follow The LORD, HE leads you along paths of newness: ways you have never imagined. Don’t worry about what is on the road up ahead. The LORD wants you to find your security in knowing HIM, the One who died to set you free.”

For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. PHILIPPIANS 2 : 13

Prayer: Holy Spirit, control my thoughts and my actions today, align them with your will so I can experience true freedom. Thank you Jesus for laying down your life to make it possible to experience freedom, joy and peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
