‭‭John‬ ‭13:15-17

“I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” ‭‭John‬ ‭13:15-17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This scripture is a great reminder of how I always want to be, I have always prided myself on leading by example and not by dictatorship and I believe this is what Jesus is talking about here. Today’s prayer is that we would all put this scripture into place in our lives and please our Lord more and more

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

“LEARN TO LAUGH at yourself more freely. Don’t take yourself or your circumstances so seriously. Relax and know that God is with you. When you desire GOD’S will above all else, life becomes much less threatening. Stop trying to monitor GOD’S responsibilities—things that are beyond your control. Find freedom by accepting the boundaries of your domain. Laughter lightens your load and lifts your heart into heavenly places. Your laughter rises to heaven and blends with angelic melodies of praise. Just as parents delight in the laughter of their children, so GOD delight in hearing HIS children laugh. GOD rejoices when you trust HIM enough to enjoy your life lightheartedly. Do not miss the Joy of The LORD’S Presence by carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Rather, take GOD’S yoke upon you and learn from HIM. GOD’S yoke is comfortable and pleasant; GOD’S burden is light and easily borne.”

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. PROVERBS 17 : 22

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. PROVERBS 31 : 25

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” MATTHEW 1 : 23

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. MATTHEW 11 : 28 – 30

Prayer: Lord help me to enjoy life lightheartedly and trust you with the rest. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

James‬ ‭4:4-6

“You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”” ‭‭James‬ ‭4:4-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How do you view yourself proud or humble? Do you always have to take credit for something you have done or give God the glory in all? This scripture says He opposes the proud!!! Do not misunderstand this. Read deep, to hold yourself as a proud person in God is one thing but to take credit in all you accomplish is not. Today’s prayer is we would ask the Holy Spirit to guide our actions, and then we can examine if they line up with making God proud……Be Blessed

“STAY ON THE HIGH ROAD WITH GOD. Many voices clamor for your attention, trying to divert you to another path. But GOD has called you to walk ever so closely with HIM, soaking in GOD’S Presence, living in HIS Peace. This is The LORD’S unique design for you, planned before the world began. GOD has called each of HIS children to a different path, distinctly designed for that one. Do not let anyone convince you that his path is the only right way. And be careful not to extol your path as superior to another’s way. What GOD requires of you is to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with HIM—wherever HE leads.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. EPHESIANS 2 : 10

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. MICAH 6 : 8

Prayer: Lord help me to walk closely to you, soaking in your presence, living in your peace. Lead me and guide me down the path you prepared for me. No matter where you lead me, help me to act justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I hear so many opinions that God has abandoned this country, that Jesus needs to hurry and come back. I fully believe that God has not abandoned this land, this land has abandoned God! This is our opportunity to be the church that Jesus is looking for! To witness, show love & compassion just as Jesus did. Today’s prayer is that we would all know that God is here! He knows all and knew all so let’s praise him for his goodness and show his love……..Be Blessed

“WHEN YOU APPROACH GOD in stillness and in trust, you are strengthened. You need a buffer zone of silence around you in order to focus on things that are unseen. Since GOD is invisible, you must not let your senses dominate your thinking. The curse of this age is over-stimulation of the senses, which blocks out awareness of the unseen world. The tangible world still reflects GOD’S Glory, to those who have eyes that see and ears that hear. Spending time alone with GOD is the best way to develop seeing eyes and hearing ears. The goal is to be aware of unseen things even as you live out your life in the visible world.”

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18

And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” ISAIAH 6 : 3

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. PSALM 130 : 5

Prayer: Lord, help me to approach you each day in stillness and trust. I need a buffer zone of silence around me in order to hear your voice. When I do, I am overwhelmed that the God who created the universe cares about me and wants to speak with me. Thank you Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Each day we must do a ” once over” self check on what our priorities are. The things that are most important to you will consume most of your time and thoughts. My friends, if Jesus is not the forefront it’s time to put him there!!!!! When we put Jesus first in our lives all else falls in place, are we still going to have trials and circumstances? Of course but when we trust in him we will prevail I have read the book I know the ending “WE WIN”……Be Blessed

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ISAIAH 61 : 10

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 PETER 2 : 9 (NKJV)

Prayer: Lord before time began you knew me. What an amazing thought. Thank you for your love, your son, for purpose and meaning to my day. Help me to love you and love others well for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

You see a lot of Christians casting judgement towards a brother or sister that stumbles or falls short of God’s will, (News Flash) we all miss the mark daily but thank God for his amazing grace. Today’s prayer is that we all would lift one another up when we’re down, help not push away, council not condemn, love not hate……Be Blessed and remember God has eyes on all of us
