Matthew 16:13-17

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 16:13-17 NKJV

Who do you say Jesus is ? The disciples walked with Jesus throughout his whole ministry and only Peter knew who he was, not much later after being blessed by Jesus Peter denied even knowing him. In the world today people are trying to prove that Jesus was just a myth, that he is a fairy tale. As Christians we are to stand firm and speak out for Jesus!!!!! He is the Son of God, he is the messiah, he is the savior of the world!!!!! Proudly profess this to all and know that we serve a living God not a fairy tale………

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭6-7‬ NLT

Are you boasting about what you do ? About what you accomplish? Are you letting everyone know about all of your good deeds? Are you giving God any glory in what you do or have? God loves the humble person, the person who does and wants no recognition for his good deeds. Jesus taught about the Pharisees doing everything to be seen by others. Jesus also taught to give in secret so that the father knows…..Today I pray that we all would have a humble heart and do the things of God we know to do and when seen by others give all the glory to God……remember if not for him we would not be here……Be Blessed

Your part is to live close to GOD, open to all that HE is doing in you. Don’t try to control the streaming of GOD’S Holy Spirit through you. Just keep focusing on The LORD as we walk through this day together. Enjoy GOD’S Presence, which permeates you with Love, Joy, and Peace.”

Pray continually, asking GOD’S Holy Spirit to take charge of the details of this day. Remember that you are on a journey with The LORD. When you try to peer into the future and plan for every possibility, you ignore your constant Companion who sustains you moment by moment. As you gaze anxiously into the distance, you don’t even feel the strong grip of GOD’S hand holding yours. How foolish you are! Oh GOD’S child! Remembrance of The LORD is a daily discipline. Never lose sight of GOD’S Presence with you. This will keep you resting in The LORD all day, every day.”

Prayer: Oh Lord you are so good. Thank you for being my constant companion and holding my hand with your strong grip 24/7. Holy Spirit take charge of the details of my day. Remind me when I forget, to find rest for my soul in God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Ephesians 2:8

I love this translation, it explains Grace to a Tee. I believe sometimes as Christians we forget that God’s grace is such a beautiful gift, sometimes we act like it’s our actions that create our peace. The fact of the matter is if not for grace we would be living a life of destruction! But by our faith in Jesus we now have become Sons and Daughters of God. Today’s prayer is that we would never stop thanking God for his Grace and live a life that is pleasing to him……..Be Blessed

Have no fear, for perfect Love decimates fear. Look at other people through lenses of Love; see them from GOD’S perspective. This is how you walk in the Light, and it pleases The LORD. GOD wants HIS Body of believers to be radiant with the Light of HIS Presence. How The LORD grieves when pockets of darkness increasingly dim the Love-Light. Return to GOD, your First Love! Prayer: Lord help me to look at other people through lenses of Love; to see them from Your perspective. Just as you have forgiven my sins, help me to pour out that same measure to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 – 12 NKJV

The world is trying to suck everyone into the drama, outside situations trying to consume your time and joy. This scripture says to mind your own business, and pay attention to your own. Loving one another is the greatest command, but you don’t have to love others’ problems…….today I pray for peace over all, that we would focus on our situations and not others …… Be blessed

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill. Numbers 23:19 NIV

The Bible is full of God’s promises, he promised healing, prosperity, a joyful heart, that we can overcome any situation. When God says it you can do one of two things 1. Believe or 2. Not believe. Today I pray we would all meditate on God’s promises and let them manifest in our lives…….Be Blessed

“GOD WANTS YOU TO BE ALL HIS, filled with the Light of HIS Presence. Christ, The LORD gave everything for you by living as a man, then dying for your sins and living again. Hold back nothing from The LORD. Bring your most secret thoughts into the Light of HIS Love. Anything you bring to GOD HE transforms and cleanses from darkness. GOD knows everything about you, far more than you know of yourself. But GOD restrains HIS yearning to “fix” you, waiting instead for you to come to HIM for help. Imagine the divine restraint this requires, for The LORD has all Power in heaven and on earth. Seek GOD’S Face with a teachable spirit. Come into GOD’S Presence with thanksgiving, desiring to be transformed.”

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. PSALM 100 : 4

Prayer: Jesus thank you for giving up your life to save mine. Help me to hold nothing back from you. To speak with you about everything and let you lead me and guide me because you see in full where I see only in part for now. I trust you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.

“GOD IS ALL AROUND YOU, like a cocoon of Light. GOD’S Presence with you is a promise, independent of your awareness of GOD. Many things can block this awareness, but the major culprit is worry. GOD’S children tend to accept worry as an inescapable fact of life. However, worry is a form of unbelief; it is curse to The LORD. Who is in charge of your life? If it is you, then you have good reason to worry. But if it is GOD, then worry is both unnecessary and counterproductive. When you start to feel anxious about something, relinquish the situation to GOD. Back off a bit, redirecting your focus to GOD. The LORD will either take care of the problem Himself or show you how to handle it. In this world you will have problems, but you need not lose sight of The LORD.”

Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? “Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” LUKE 12 : 22 – 31

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33

Prayer: Lord thank you for surrounding me with your light and love. Help me to remember when I get anxious or worry to step back and hand the situation to you. You want me to give you my problems and in return you give me peace and joy. What a good Father you are. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
