Daily Devotional Video 5/27/2020 – PSALM 27 : 8, ROMANS 13 : 14, COLOSSIANS 3 : 12

Praise report update: Week or so ago I made a special prayer request for a Mom named Brandi and her daughter Layla – I got an update this morning that both are doing well and doors were opened for them that had been closed these doors have allowed Brandi and Layla to move to where they have the family support they need to not only stay together but for Brandi to get the help she needs to get back on track. PRAYERS WORK!!!

“SEEK GOD’S FACE at the beginning of your day. This practice enables you to “put GOD on” and “wear GOD” throughout the day. Most people put on clothes soon after arising from bed. Similarly, the sooner you “put GOD on” by communicating with GOD, the better prepared you are for whatever comes your way. To “wear GOD” is essentially to have GOD’S mind: to think HIS thoughts. Ask the Holy Spirit to control your thinking; be transformed by this renewal within you. Thus you are well equipped to face whatever people and situations GOD brings your way. Clothing your mind in GOD is your best preparation for each day. This discipline brings Joy and Peace to you and those around you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.” PSALM 27 : 8 (NKJV)

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. ROMANS 13 : 14

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. COLOSSIANS 3 : 12

Prayer: Lord help me to prioritize seeking you each morning, to put you in as I do my clothes. Holy Spirit control my thoughts today, make them obedient to Christ. And let compassion for others abound and overflow in and through me today just as Jesus shows me compassion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs‬ ‭16:3

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you seeking council from the Lord in all you do? Are you dealing with the feeling that a particular situation isn’t right?. This proverb says commit to the Lord in whatever you do! Not commit to some things. Today’s prayer is that we would have so much faith in God’s plan for us that we would seek him first and trust that he will give us the proper decision…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Romans‬ ‭7:6

“But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.” Romans‬ ‭7:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are not born a perfect person! We will never be a perfect person in the flesh! But in the spirit we are one with Christ! The law was perfect and we are not so how could we live that life? Only one was perfect and he made a way for us to live that same perfect life spiritually. Hold on you say, are you saying we are perfect? Absolutely we are in the eyes of God because we are covered by Calvary and what Jesus did for us! Today’s prayer is that we would all as Christians not be shook by Covid 19 or shook by the past due bills, because we are children of God and it’s tome to act like it!!! Pray hard for all, live life too your best, be kind too all, and last but not least let the light of Jesus shine in all you do….. Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

John 16:23-24

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:23-24 NKJV)

Prayer is the most powerful pathway we have to God. Jesus said ask and you will receive, he said knock and the door will be opened, are you asking in the the name of Jesus ? Are you knocking in the name of Jesus ? If not do so, do not do it in some religious tradition, but believe for it!!!! Today I pray that we would all understand the power of prayer and believe that what we pray has already been done ” In Jesus mighty name”……..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Daily Devotional Video 5/25/2020 – ISAIAH 41 : 10, ZEPHANIAH 3 : 17, PSALM 34 : 19

“THE WORLD IS TOO MUCH WITH YOU, YOU ARE GOD’S child. Your mind leaps from problem to problem to problem, tangling your thoughts in anxious knots. When you think like that, you leave GOD out of your world-view and your mind becomes darkened. Though GOD yearns to help, GOD will not violate your freedom. The LORD stands silently in the background of your mind, waiting for you to remember that GOD is with you. When you turn from your problems to GOD’S Presence, your load is immediately lighter. Circumstances may not have changed, but GOD and you carry your burdens together. Your compulsion to “fix” everything gives way to deep, satisfying connection with GOD. Together GOD and you can handle whatever this day brings.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ISAIAH 41 : 10

“The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” ZEPHANIAH 3 : 17

A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. PSALM 34 : 19

Prayer: Lord, when my mind leaps from problem to problem, help me to turn from my problem and focus on your presence and your promises. To turn to your word which is a light to my feet and a lamp to my path. Your word never returns void. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1-6‬

Word of the day – Pray

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. (‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1-6‬ NLT)

Are you praying for someone you love? Are you praying for a casual friend? Are you praying for someone with a different belief other than Jesus? Are you praying for the leaders of the world? All of these should be on the prayer list. Paul was in prison in Rome yet he says pray for all because there is one God for all. Today I pray that we would all put aside any thought that someone does not need prayer, don’t just pray for friends and loved ones, pray for the non believer and the nations………Be Blessed

2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:5‬

“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” ‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The bible says the condition of a mans heart defines him, what is the condition of your heart? Do you give expecting? Do you help out but complain? God knows our heart even though we can camouflage it. Today’s prayer is that we would have the heart of Jesus, all giving and giving with nothing but love never expecting anything in return…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭6-9‬

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. (‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭6-9‬ NLT)

Are you or someone waiting until you get your act cleaned up before you go to the lord for salvation? Do you say ” I will get right someday”? Today is that day. Jesus did not put a requirement to be perfect before you can make him Lord of your life!!! He died for ALL and all you have to do is call upon his name. Today I pray that any who are waiting to know the Lord would lay down the pride and foolishness and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross……Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Daily Devotional Video 5/21/2020 – ROMANS 8 : 31 – 32, MICAH 7 : 7

“GOD, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, is with you and for you. What more could you need? When you feel some lack, it is because you are not connecting with GOD at a deep level. GOD offers abundant Life; your part is to trust The LORD, refusing to worry about anything. It is not so much adverse events that make you anxious as it is your thoughts about those events. Your mind engages in efforts to take control of a situation, to bring about the result you desire. Your thoughts close in on the problem like ravenous wolves. Determined to make things go your way, you forget that GOD is in charge of your life. The only remedy is to switch your focus from the problem to GOD’S Presence. Stop all your striving, and watch to see what GOD will do. GOD is the Lord!”

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ROMANS 8 : 31 – 32

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. MICAH 7 : 7

Prayer: God I wait expectantly for what you will do next. You are my fortress and my salvation. The good Sheppard who leads me beside still waters and comforts me in my troubles. I take captive any thought that is not from you. Guard my MIND Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
