When the difficulties in your life feel as if they’re closing in on you, break free by spending quality time with GOD. You need to remember who GOD is in all HIS Power and Glory. Then, humbly bring GOD your prayers and petitions. Your problems will pale when you view them in the Light of The LORD’S Presence. You can learn to be joyful in The LORD, your Savior, even in the midst of adverse circumstances. Rely on GOD, your Strength; The LORD makes your feet like the feet of a deer, enabling you to go on the heights.”

Your relationship with GOD is meant to be vibrant and challenging, as HE invades more and more areas of your life. Do not fear change, for The LORD is making you a new creation, with old things passing away and new things continually on the horizon. When you cling to old ways and sameness, you resist GOD’S work within you. GOD wants you to embrace all that HE is doing in your life, finding your security in GOD alone. It is easy to make an idol of routine, finding security within the boundaries you build around your life. Although each day contains twenty-four hours, every single one presents a unique set of circumstances. Don’t try to force-fit today into yesterday’s mold. Instead, ask The LORD to open your eyes, so you can find all GOD has prepared for you in this precious day of Life.”

Some of the greatest works in GOD’S kingdom have been done from sick beds and prison cells. Instead of resenting the limitations of a weakened body, search for GOD’S way in the midst of these very circumstances. Limitations can be liberating when your strongest desire is living close to The LORD. Quietness and trust enhance your awareness of GOD’S Presence with you. Do not despise these simple ways of serving The LORD. Although you feel cut off from the activity of the world, your quiet trust makes a powerful statement in spiritual realms. GOD’S Strength and Power show themselves most effectively in weakness.”

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” ISAIAH 30 : 15

But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9

Prayer: Lord thank you for the conditions that require me to be still and rest and listen to you. Slow me down when I need this reminder. May your power and strength show themselves most effectively in my weakness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Oh to be like Paul was ….. The apostle Paul was one of the most influential writers of the Bible. Paul was a murderer and yet God still called him. Paul wrote most of the New Testament, and most of it was written from prison. When Paul was called from The Lord he never looked back, he always was thankful for being saved from the life he once led. Paul says “I’m not ashamed of the gospel” and he proved that to his dying day. Today I pray that we would all be as bold as Paul was in spreading the gospel, he was empowered by God and so are we………be blessed

“COME TO GOD with all your weaknesses: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Rest in the comfort of GOD’S Presence, remembering that nothing is impossible with GOD. Pry your mind away from your problems so you can focus your attention on The LORD. Recall that The LORD is able to do immeasurably more than all you ask or imagine. Instead of trying to direct GOD to do this and that, seek to attune yourself to what The LORD is already doing. When anxiety attempts to wedge its way into your thoughts, remind yourself that GOD is your Shepherd. The bottom line is that GOD is taking care of you; therefore, you needn’t be afraid of anything. Rather than trying to maintain control over your life, abandon yourself to The LORD’S will. Though this may feel frightening— even dangerous, the safest place to be is in GOD’S will.”

Prayer: Lord, I come to you with all my weaknesses. Attune my heart to what you are already doing in my life. Keep me on the path of your will, the safest place I can be. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
