JESUS CHRIST IS THE PRINCE OF PEACE. – ISAIAH 9 : 6, JOHN 20 : 19 – 21, PSALM 25 : 4

“JESUS CHRIST IS THE PRINCE OF PEACE. As CHRIST said to HIS disciples, GOD says also to you: Peace be with you. Since GOD is your constant Companion, GOD’S Peace is steadfastly with you. When you keep your focus on The LORD, you experience both HIS Presence and HIS Peace. Worship GOD as King of kings, Lord of lords, and Prince of Peace. You need The LORD’S Peace each moment to accomplish HIS purposes in your life. Sometimes you are tempted to take shortcuts, in order to reach your goal as quickly as possible. But if the shortcut requires turning your back on GOD’S peaceful Presence, you must choose the longer route. Walk with GOD along paths of Peace; enjoy the journey in HIS Presence.”

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ISAIAH 9 : 6

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” JOHN 20 : 19 – 21

Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. PSALM 25 : 4 (NKJV)

Prayer: Jesus you are the prince of peace. Help me to keep my focus on you so I can experience both your presence and your peace. I need your peace to accomplish your purposes for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:18-20‬

“But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:18-20‬ ‭

I believe the only thing God hates is Sin!!! God is love but sin is hate and that contradicts love! To live a life that is pleasing to God is to do your best to follow his ways! Love all, treat all with respect, be kind to all rich, poor, those who have different beliefs, straight, gay, etc!!!! God created all and his command is to love not hate! Today’s prayer is we would all try to please God in all our actions! We will fall short and that’s where his love comes in, but that doesn’t mean we can stop trying!!!! GOD LOVES YOU with an everlasting Love, which flows out from the depths of eternity – JEREMIAH 31 : 3, LAMENTATIONS 3 : 22 – 26

“GOD LOVES YOU with an everlasting Love, which flows out from the depths of eternity. Before you were born, GOD knew you. Ponder the awesome mystery of a Love that encompasses you from before birth to beyond the grave. Modern man has lost the perspective of eternity. To distract himself from the gaping jaws of death, he engages in ceaseless activity and amusement. The practice of being still in GOD’S Presence is almost a lost art, yet it is this very stillness that enables you to experience GOD’S eternal Love. You need the certainty of GOD’S loving Presence in order to weather the storms of life. During times of severe testing, even the best theology can fail you if it isn’t accompanied by empirical knowledge of GOD. The ultimate protection against sinking during life’s storms is devoting time to develop your friendship with GOD.”

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” JEREMIAH 31 : 3

Because of the LORD’S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. LAMENTATIONS 3 : 22 – 26

Prayer: Lord oh how important it is for my soul to be still in your presence. I need to feel you and experience your presence to weather the storms of life. Thank you for your compassion which is new every morning. Everyday you give me a clean slate because of Jesus. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

PROBLEMS ARE PART OF LIFE. – PSALM 32 : 8, LUKE 10 : 41 – 42, PHILIPPIANS 3 : 20 – 21

“PROBLEMS ARE PART OF LIFE. They are inescapable: woven into the very fabric of this fallen world. You tend to go into problem-solving mode all too readily, acting as if you have the capacity to fix everything. This is a habitual response, so automatic that it bypasses your conscious thinking. Not only does this habit frustrate you, it also distances you from GOD. Do not let fixing things be your top priority. You are ever so limited in your capacity to correct all that is wrong in the world around you. Don’t weigh yourself down with responsibilities that are not your own. Instead, make your relationship with GOD your primary concern. Talk with GOD about whatever is on your mind, seeking HIS perspective on the situation. Rather than trying to fix everything that comes to your attention, ask GOD to show you what is truly important. Remember that you are en route to heaven, and let your problems fade in the Light of eternity.”

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. PSALM 32 : 8

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” LUKE 10 : 41 – 42

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. PHILIPPIANS 3 : 20 – 21

Prayer: Lord no matter what is going on in my life, help me to make my relationship with you my primary concern. To linger with the Almighty each day because I know that is the very best defense against the enemy messing with my thoughts. No weapon formed against me will prosper as long as my eyes are fixed on you Jesus. In your name I pray. Amen.

LET GOD INFUSE HIS PEACE into your innermost being. – ISAIAH 58 : 11, ISAIAH 40 : 11

“LET GOD INFUSE HIS PEACE into your innermost being. As you sit quietly in the Light of GOD’S Presence, you can sense Peace growing within you. This is not something that you accomplish through self-discipline and willpower; it is opening yourself to receive GOD’S blessing. In this age of independence, people find it hard to acknowledge their neediness. However, The LORD has taken you along a path that has highlighted your need for HIM: placing you in situations where your strengths were irrelevant and your weaknesses were glaringly evident. Through the barrenness of those desert marches, GOD has drawn you closer and closer to Himself. You have discovered flowers of Peace blossoming in the most desolate places. You have learned to thank GOD for hard times and difficult journeys, trusting that through them The LORD accomplishes HIS best work. You have realized that needing GOD is the key to knowing GOD intimately, which is the gift above all gifts.”

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ISAIAH 58 : 11

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. ISAIAH 40 : 11

Prayer: Lord God – infuse your peace in my innermost being. As I sit quietly with you I can feel your peace growing within me. God, I need your help today. Help me to rely on you to fight my battles for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭LUKE‬ ‭6:38

“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” ‭‭LUKE‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭NASB‬‬

This scripture is usually connected to financial gain, I believe this scripture describes everything in our lives. This scripture has always ministered to me in the form of giving to others, blessing others, and most of all loving others. Today’s prayer is that we would meditate on this scripture and apply it to our lives the way we see fit…….Be Blessed

Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭17-18

God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭17-18‬ NLT

There are things we do that make us feel that we are unworthy to serve God. When we became Christians, that was sealed by the blood of Jesus on the Cross. God is not a changing God, he doesn’t disregard you when you miss the mark, I’m sure he is disappointed but still has everlasting love for you good and bad. Today’s prayer is that when we miss the mark we would go to God in repentance and ask by his Holy Spirit to instruct and fix that problem so that we can do bigger things for the kingdom…….Be Blessed

Luke‬ ‭19:10

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus came to save the world, not condemn it! Jesus went to the lost to show them the way to eternal life, some followed and some didn’t. Today it has remained the same – some follow and some have too much pride to understand they need a savior. Today’s prayer is that we would as believers pray for the lost not condemn them…….Be Blessed

THIS IS THE DAY THAT GOD HAS MADE! – PSALM 118 : 24, PSALM 116 : 17

“THIS IS THE DAY THAT GOD HAS MADE! As you rejoice in this day of life, it will yield up to you precious gifts and beneficial training. Walk with GOD along the high road of thanksgiving, and you will find all the delights GOD has made ready for you. To protect your thankfulness, you must remember that you reside in a fallen world, where blessings and sorrows intermingle freely. A constant focus on adversity defeats many Christians. They walk through a day that is brimming with beauty and brightness, seeing only the grayness of their thoughts. Neglecting the practice of giving thanks has darkened their minds. How precious are The LORD’S children who remember to thank HIM at all times. They can walk through the darkest days with Joy in their hearts because they know that the Light of GOD’S Presence is still shining on them. Rejoice in this day that GOD has made, for GOD is your steadfast Companion.”

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. PSALM 118 : 24

I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD. PSALM 116 : 17

Prayer: God thank you for another day waking up. This is the day you have made, let me rejoice and be glad in it. Open my eyes to see your beauty and brightness today. Thank you for being my steadfast companion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Matthew‬ ‭11:28-30‬

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew‬ ‭11:28-30‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Do you just seem to struggle and never get to that place of rest? Maybe it’s because you are trying to do things your own way? Trying to be the fixer and not get fixed! The words of Jesus tell us to come to him!! Are you handing over your troubles? I’m not saying that hand them over and life is going to be full of rainbows and unicorns, there will always be trials and struggles but the way of the world will continue to bring problems! The way of Jesus will bring peace in the middle of the storms. Today’s prayer is that we would be so in tune with God’s word that we would never be shaken and stand strong on the word!!!!
