Life is tough at times!!!! Down right ridiculous at times if you focus on all the tough times. I bet every one of us can think of a time that we could not imagine peace, I can think of many of them but by God’s grace made it through them. You are constantly aware of limitations: your own and others’. But there is no limit to GOD’S Love; it fills all of space, time, and eternity. Now you see through a glass, darkly, but someday you will see The LORD face to Face. Then you will be able to experience fully how wide and long and high and deep is GOD’S Love for you. If you were to experience that now, you would be overwhelmed to the point of feeling crushed. But you have an eternity ahead of you, absolutely guaranteed, during which you can enjoy The LORD’S Presence in unrestricted ecstasy. For now, the knowledge of GOD’S loving Presence is sufficient to carry you through each day.”

Prayer: Lord help me to make time each day to be still in your presence, so you can communicate your love and your presence to me. Show me a little more today how wide and long and high and deep Christ’s love is for me so that I can be filled and share your love with others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Payments for things of the world are all temporary, you pay your mortgage and payment is required a month later, you pay your car payment and it’s again due next month. On that day at Calvary payment for our lives was given once and for all!!!!! Never again is payment needed, you could say Jesus has the title to our souls. Today, realize the liberty we have in Jesus and praise his Holy name, all around us is temporal but heaven is eternal …………. Be Blessed

Thankfulness keeps you from criticizing and complaining: those “sister sins” that so easily entangle you. Keeping your eyes on GOD is the same thing as trusting GOD. It is a free choice that you must make thousands of times daily. The more you choose to trust GOD, the easier it becomes. Thought patterns of trust become etched into your brain. Relegate troubles to the periphery of your mind, so that GOD can be central in your thoughts. Thus you focus on GOD, entrusting your concerns into HIS care.”

Prayer: Lord, you know just what I need at just the right time. When I focus on thanking you, on praising you, you change my perspective and outlook entirely. Thank you for never giving up on me. Help me to do the same for others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have you ever noticed how most things finish better than they start if we have patience? Do you ever get the I want it now attitude? Well I know I have fallen into this trap and made a mess of many things. This scripture paints a clear picture that good things come to those who wait. Sometimes it seems like the attacks are never ending, we are surrounded by evil all day every day, but in this scripture Paul writes take heart God will deliver us from all evil. God’s plan for us is not to suffer but to have peace and joy knowing what awaits us when this life is done. Some of the greatest works in GOD’S kingdom have been done from sick beds and prison cells. Instead of resenting the limitations of a weakened body, search for The LORD’S way in the midst of these very circumstances. Limitations can be liberating when your strongest desire is living close to The LORD. Quietness and trust enhance your awareness of GOD’S Presence with you. Do not despise these simple ways of serving The LORD. Although you feel cut off from the activity of the world, your quiet trust makes a powerful statement in spiritual realms. GOD’S Strength and Power show themselves most effectively in weakness.”

“Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.” ZECHARIAH 2 : 13

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” ISAIAH 30 : 15

But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 CORINTHIANS 12 : 9

Prayer: Lord thank you for the conditions that require me to be still and rest and listen to you. Slow me down when I need this reminder. May your power and strength show themselves most effectively in my weakness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
