Facing the emptiness inside you is simply the prelude to being filled with GOD’S fullness. Therefore, rejoice on those days when you drag yourself out of bed, feeling sluggish and inadequate. Tell yourself that this is a perfect day to depend on The LORD in childlike trust. If you persevere in this dependence as you go through the day, you will discover at bedtime that Joy and Peace have become your companions. You may not realize at what point they joined you on your journey, but you will feel the beneficial effects of their presence. The perfect end to such a day is a doxology of gratitude. GOD IS HE from whom all blessings flow!”

Prayer: Lord during this busy Christmas season help me to make time to rest quietly in your presence letting you fill me with joy and peace and strength. On days I feel I’m lacking, remind me this is a perfect day to depend on you in childlike trust. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have you ever had one of those days like you just feel like giving up? I know I have and the rest of us also. The Lord says he is there to comfort us and delight our soul. Prayer: Lord don’t let my work ethic get in the way of spending time with you and making space to love others well. Help me to first spend time with you so you can fill me with love, joy, peace and hope. Then I will be full to overflowing to share your love with others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer: Lord time spent with you has so many benefits – it’s so amazing. You fill me with peace, joy, and renewal. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear the opportunities The Holy Spirit gives me to show love and grace today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do you ever wonder why as a believer you endure persecution? When you became a Christian were you under the impression that life was going perfect? Well the Bible tells us the complete opposite of that. Jesus said you will be persecuted in My Name and that is what will happen in this broken Godless world. There are things we do that make us feel that we are unworthy to serve God. When we became Christians, that was sealed by the blood of Jesus on the Cross. God is not a changing God, he doesn’t disregard you when you miss the mark, I’m sure he is disappointed but still has everlasting love for you good and bad. Today’s prayer is that when we miss the mark we would go to God in repentance and ask by his Holy Spirit to instruct and fix that problem so that we can do bigger things for the kingdom…….Be Blessed

“We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3 : 2 – 5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are the words you’re speaking into people’s lives edifying or damning? From the ” good morning” to the “what’s wrong with you idiot”. James speaks clearly about the power of the tongue in this scripture just how powerful one little word can affect someone. Today’s prayer is that we would all let God put a bit in our mouths or a rudder on our tongue, that we would edify people no matter how we feel. When someone wrongs you hand it over to God and bite down on that bit …….. Be Blessed and tell someone “Good Morning”

“GOD IS TAKING CARE OF YOU. Feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in GOD’S loving Presence. Every detail of your life is under GOD’S control. Moreover, everything fits into a pattern for good, to those who love The LORD and are called according to HIS design and purpose. Because the world is in an abnormal, fallen condition, people tend to think that chance governs the universe. Events may seem to occur randomly, with little or no meaning. People who view the world this way have overlooked one basic fact: the limitations of human understanding. What you know of the world you inhabit is only the tip of the iceberg. Submerged beneath the surface of the visible world are mysteries too vast for you to comprehend. If you could only see how close GOD is to you and how constantly GOD works on your behalf, you would never again doubt that GOD is wonderfully caring for you. This is why you must live by faith, not by sight; trusting in The LORD’S mysterious, majestic Presence.”

Prayer: Lord help me to see and feel how close you are and how you are constantly working for my good and for your glory. Thank you for giving me three best friends in one with me at all times – God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. Help me to rely more on you more today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Where is your trust ? What makes you feel trustworthy? Material things have a way of giving you false trust. Trusting in God gives you eternal security.
