“A THANKFUL ATTITUDE opens windows of heaven. Spiritual blessings fall freely onto you through those openings into eternity. Moreover, as you look up with a grateful heart, you get glimpses of Glory through those windows. You cannot yet live in heaven, but you can experience foretastes of your ultimate home. Such samples of heavenly fare revive your hope. Thankfulness opens you up to these experiences, which then provide further reasons to be grateful. Thus, your path becomes an upward spiral: ever increasing in gladness. Thankfulness is not some sort of magic formula; it is the language of Love, which enables you to communicate intimately with GOD. A thankful mind-set does not entail a denial of reality with its plethora of problems. Instead, it rejoices in The LORD, your Savior, in the midst of trials and tribulations. The LORD is your refuge and strength, an ever-present and well-proved help in trouble.”

Scripture

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. HABAKKUK 3 : 17 – 18

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. PSALM 46 : 1

Prayer

Prayer: Lord no matter what goes on this week help me to have a thankful mind-set. To praise you on the mountain top and in the valley. May you be my focal point. Help me to be a reflection of Christ wherever I go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭8 : 4‬

“so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8 : 4‬ ‭NASB‬‬

This scripture is very clear if your eyes are open! The law is not the speed limit or the don’t steal gum from the store!!! It’s God’s law of love. When we “walk in the flesh” it means to love the life we lived before Jesus, but to “walk in the spirit” is to know what’s wrong and right in the eyes of God and follow it. Today’s prayer is to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and walk upright in the eyes of God ……. Be Blessed

Psalms 27 : 1

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27 : 1 NKJV

It’s easy to worry or be afraid of certain situations but the Word says “whom shall we fear?”. Fear is not from God faith, trust and love are. Today’s prayer is when a situation arises remember this Psalm and trust in God’s love and protection for you……..Be Blessed

“If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer! Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you. Then your face will brighten with innocence. You will be strong and free of fear.” Job‬ ‭11‬ : ‭13 – 15‬ NLT

Is there a stronghold in your life that you just can’t seem to get rid of? Here’s a hint SURRENDER!!!!! Surrender all to God and let His grace see you out of the stronghold. Today’s prayer is that we would surrender all of our strongholds to God, for we as flesh cannot overcome them on our own ….. Be Blessed

Listen as GOD offers you HIS Peace and Presence in full measure. The best way to receive these glorious gifts is to thank GOD for them. It is impossible to spend too much time thanking and praising GOD. GOD created you first and foremost to glorify HIM. Thanksgiving and praise put you in a proper relationship with GOD, opening the way for GOD’S riches to flow into you. As you thank The LORD for HIS Presence and Peace, you appropriate GOD’S richest gifts.”

Prayer

Prayer: God thank you for your presence and your peace. Every good and perfect gift comes from you. Your purpose for me is to live a rich and satisfying life in Christ for your glory. Help me to do so this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Romans‬ ‭7‬ : ‭15 ‬- ‭17‬

“I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬ : ‭15 ‬- ‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Oh the sin nature!!! We all try to do what is right in God’s eyes but we fail miserably every day!!! Why? As Paul wrote in this scripture, the sin nature is a part of us at birth, we know what is right but we do the opposite, we know what we want to do with incredible intentions but nope!!! We fail!!! Why? Because we are not close enough to God!!!!! We pray but do we pray like the Pharisees did? Or do we have an open line of communication with God Almighty? Today’s prayer is that we would all draw closer to God, have a personal relationship with Him not a bedtime relationship!!! Draw near to God and watch the sin nature disappear ……. GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU, HIS CHILD. – EPHESIANS 2 : 8 – 9, EPHESIANS 3 : 16 – 19, PSALM 62 : 8

“GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU, HIS CHILD. Allow yourself to become fully aware of GOD’S pleasure shining upon you. You don’t have to perform well in order to receive THE LORD’S Love. In fact, a performance focus will pull you away from GOD, toward some sort of Pharisaism. This can be a subtle form of idolatry: worshiping your own good works. It can also be a source of deep discouragement when your works don’t measure up to your expectations. Shift your focus from your performance to GOD’S radiant Presence. The Light of GOD’S Love shines on you continually, regardless of your feelings or behavior. Your responsibility is to be receptive to this unconditional Love. Thankfulness and trust are your primary receptors. Thank GOD for everything; trust in GOD at all times. These simple disciplines will keep you open to GOD’S loving Presence.”

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. EPHESIANS 2 : 8 – 9

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. PSALM 62 : 8

Prayer

Prayer: Lord thank you that I don’t have to perform well to receive your love. Your love is unchangeable. Nothing I do could make you love me more or less. You are my constant rock on which I stand. Teach me to love like you do. Transform my heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Trust is a character that is lacking in today’s world, to trust someone is to confide your all to them!!! When you truly understand God’s love for you it’s easy to trust him. Today I pray that we would all put our 100% trust in the Lord and not in the things of the world…….Be Blessed

Prayer

Prayer: Jesus help me to leave outcomes up to you without worry about how they will turn out. Keep my focus on the path just before me, enjoying the rhythm of a life lived close to you. Even when the path is steep, we will climb it together and I will take time to rest along the way as you refresh me in your presence. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Isaiah‬ ‭45 ‬: ‭9‬

““What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45 ‬: ‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Have you ever looked at a clump of clay? Not very attractive is it? Are we sometimes not very attractive in our appearance, actions, attitudes? The clay in the potter’s hands becomes something beautiful as he or she shapes it, the same way we become something Christ-like when God shapes us. Today’s prayer is that we allow Jesus to shape us in a way that shines like a diamond!!! And remember when trials come our way, look through the trial and know that we are victors ……. Be Blessed
