“GOD IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Men crawl through their lives cursing the darkness, but all the while GOD is shining brightly. GOD desires each of HIS followers to be a Light-bearer. The Holy Spirit who lives in you can shine from your face, making The LORD visible to people around you. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to live through you, as you wend your way through this day. Hold The LORD’S hand in joyful trust, for HE never leaves your side. The Light of GOD’S Presence is shining upon you. Brighten up the world by reflecting who GOD IS.”

Scripture

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” JOHN 8 : 12

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 5 : 14 – 16

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 CORINTHIANS 3 : 18

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” EXODUS 3 : 14

Prayer

Prayer: God help me be a reflection of your glory. May your Spirit live through me. Help me to stay attuned to what your Holy Spirit is doing in and through me with my thoughts, words and actions. Let them see you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This is a tough one !!!!! Or is it? When Jesus hung on the Cross beaten and torn to pieces did he not ask the Father to forgive the other two ? Yeah that’s how it was, so how can we not forgive? Today’s prayer is if we have any loose ties with anyone we would end them and forgive just as Jesus did!!! I know it’s hard but ask God how to do it and it shall be done…..Be Blessed

FIND FREEDOM through seeking to please GOD above all else. – EPHESIANS 5 : 8 – 10, MATTHEW 23 : 8, MATTHEW 6 : 1

“FIND FREEDOM through seeking to please GOD above all else. You can have only one Master. When you let others’ expectations drive you, you scatter your energy to the winds. Your own desire to look good can also drain your energy. GOD is your Master, and GOD does not drive you to be what you are not. Your pretense displeases The LORD, especially when it is in HIS “service.” Concentrate on staying close to GOD at all times. It is impossible to be inauthentic while you are focusing on The LORD’S Presence.”

Scripture

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. EPHESIANS 5 : 8 – 10

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” MATTHEW 6 : 1

Prayers

Prayer: Lord thank you for the freedom in seeking to please you above all else. Help me to concentrate on staying close to you this week, the safest place to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 10 : 10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10 : 10 NKJV

The thief in this passage is the Devil!!! He wants to bring “doom and gloom” to your whole surroundings. He wants you to feel broke, alone, not good enough, just plain broken. Jesus however says I give you life to the fullest, in abundance (more than enough) money, happiness, peace, everything. Today who are you gonna believe? I choose to take the gift that was given to me on the cross LIFE………Be Blessed

“BRING GOD ALL YOUR FEELINGS, even the ones you wish you didn’t have. Fear and anxiety still plague you. Feelings per se are not sinful, but they can be temptations to sin. Blazing missiles of fear fly at you day and night; these attacks from the evil one come at you relentlessly. Use your shield of faith to extinguish those flaming arrows. Affirm your trust in GOD, regardless of how you feel. If you persist, your feelings will eventually fall in line with your faith. Do not hide from your fear or pretend it isn’t there. Anxiety that you hide in the recesses of your heart will give birth to fear of fear: a monstrous stepchild. Bring your anxieties out into the Light of The LORD’S Presence, where you can deal with them together. Concentrate on trusting GOD, and fearfulness will gradually lose its foothold within you.”

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. EPHESIANS 6 : 16

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 JOHN 1 : 5 – 7

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” ISAIAH 12 : 2

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I affirm my trust in You, regardless of my feelings. I bring all my feelings to you to sort out and work through. Help me to put on the full armor you have given me and to activate them all with prayer. In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” ) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. Well if you didn’t know now you do!!!!! The world is full of judgement and condemnation thus the daily persecution. This scripture tells us just how much God loves us, and nothing can ever change that!!!!! Today’s prayer is that we all would meditate on this scripture and truly understand the everlasting love of God………Be Blessed

GOD IS NEARER than you think, richly present in all your moments. – ACTS 17 : 27 – 28, HEBREWS 11 : 1

“GOD IS NEARER than you think, richly present in all your moments. You are connected to GOD by Love-bonds that nothing can sever. However, you may sometimes feel alone, because your union with GOD is invisible. Ask The LORD to open your eyes, so that you can find HIM everywhere. The more aware you are of GOD’S Presence, the safer you feel. This is not some sort of escape from reality; it is tuning into ultimate reality. The LORD is far more Real than the world you can see, hear, and touch. Faith is the confirmation of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord open my eyes, my spouse’s eyes, and my children’s eyes to find you everywhere. To know you are more real than anything on this earth. Help us to live out our purpose this week – to love God and love others. With your help we can do both well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Are you praying for someone to have a encounter with God? I sure am glad someone was praying for me when I didn’t know him.
