True dependence is not simply asking The LORD to bless what you have decided to do. It is coming to The LORD with an open mind and heart, inviting GOD to plant HIS desires within you. GOD may infuse within you a dream that seems far beyond your reach. You know that in yourself you cannot achieve such a goal. Thus begins your journey of profound reliance on GOD. We tend to take all the glory when we achieve something, Jesus gave us the chance to live through his loving sacrifice so how can we not give him the glory? To be self righteous is to be distant from God.
