Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭12

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ NIV)

This scripture lays out a great foundation to live by. To be joyful in hope is to look to our end results in Jesus, to be patient in affliction is to know that without a doubt Jesus will show up to correct the situation, and to be faithful in prayer means to always have a open line of communication with Jesus. Today I pray that we would all use this scripture as a foundation to live our lives by…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

TRUST GOD in the depths of your being – COLOSSIANS 1 : 27, MATTHEW 28 : 20, JOHN 20 : 19

“TRUST GOD in the depths of your being. It is there that GOD lives in constant communion with you. When you feel flustered and frazzled on the outside, do not get upset with yourself. You are only human, and the swirl of events going on all around you will sometimes feel overwhelming. Rather than scolding yourself for your humanness, remind yourself that GOD is both with you and within you. GOD is with you at all times, encouraging and supportive rather than condemning. GOD knows that deep within you, where HE lives, HIS peace is your continual experience. Slow down your pace of living for a time. Quiet your mind in GOD’S Presence. Then you will be able to hear The LORD bestowing the resurrection blessing: Peace be with you.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. COLOSSIANS 1 : 27

“. . . and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” MATTHEW 28 : 20

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” JOHN 20 : 19

Prayer: Lord the more I read your word, the more I get to know you. The more I get to know you, the more I’m in awe of your goodness and kindness and mercy and patience. Thank you for not only sending your son Jesus to take my place, but also for sending your Holy Spirit who lives in me and knows all things and is teaching me to be more like Jesus. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

WORSHIP GOD in the beauty of holiness

“WORSHIP GOD in the beauty of holiness. GOD created beauty to declare the existence of HIS holy Being. A magnificent rose, a hauntingly glorious sunset, oceanic splendor— all these things were meant to proclaim GOD’S Presence in the world. Most people rush past these proclamations without giving them a second thought. Some people use beauty, especially feminine loveliness, to sell their products. How precious are GOD’S children who are awed by nature’s beauty; this opens them up to HIS holy Presence. Even before you knew GOD personally, you responded to HIS creation with wonder. This is a gift, and it carries responsibility with it. Declare GOD’S glorious Being to the world. The whole earth is full of GOD’S radiant beauty – GOD’S Glory!” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. PSALM 29 : 2 (NKJV)

And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” ISAIAH 6 : 3

Prayer: Lord help me to slow down enough to see your beautiful creation all around me. Let the birds and the sunset be a reminder of your precious love and gifts. You are still on the throne. Help me to keep you in the center of my life today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,” Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Oh how truly blessed we are! What we have and what we deserved are worlds apart. The Grace of God is such a awesome gift words can’t describe it. Today’s prayer is that we we endure trials and ups and downs we step back and thank God for all the blessings he gives us daily……Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Matthew‬ ‭6:1-4‬

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.” Matthew‬ ‭6:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Giving is such a beautiful thing! When you are able too bless someone in need or just bless them because it is a beautiful gift, unless you remind, brag, announce, etc. Jesus spoke about giving in secrecy not too even have each of your hands know what’s going on. Today’s prayer is that we would all help when we can and if God leads you even when we can’t …… Be Blessed and Be A Blessing

COME TO GOD CONTINUALLY – HEBREWS 6 : 19, 1 JOHN 2 : 28, MATTHEW 22 : 37

https://youtu.be/pq0-qU5wlHc

“COME TO GOD CONTINUALLY. GOD is meant to be the Center of your consciousness, the Anchor of your soul. Your mind will wander from GOD, but the question is how far you allow it to wander. An anchor on a short rope lets a boat drift only slightly before the taut line tugs the boat back toward the center. Similarly, as you drift away from GOD, HIS Holy Spirit within you gives a tug, prompting you to return to GOD. As you become increasingly attuned to GOD’S Presence, the length of rope on your soul’s Anchor is shortened. You wander only a short distance before feeling that inner tug— telling you to return to your true Center in GOD.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 19

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. 1 JOHN 2 : 28

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’” MATTHEW 22 : 37

Prayer: God thank you for The Holy Spirit in me who gives me a gentle tug when I’m drifting from you. Attune my heart to pay attention to those impressions and nudges, bringing me back to my center in Christ. My rock. My hope. My Anchor. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits… – 1 John‬ ‭4:1-3‬

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So many false doctrine in the world today! Some preach this and some preach that, Jesus said many will come in my name but are not of the Father. A simple rule too live by is if it doesn’t line up with the word of God it is false!!!! Today’s prayer is the spirit of God that lives in us would help us too discern the truth…….Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

LET GOD’S LOVE seep into the inner recesses of your being – PSALM 139 : 1 – 4, 23 – 24, 1 JOHN 4:18

“LET GOD’S LOVE seep into the inner recesses of your being. Do not close off any part of yourself from GOD. GOD knows you inside and out, so do not try to present a “cleaned-up” self to The LORD. Wounds that you shut away from the Light of GOD’S Love will fester and become “wormy”. Secret sins that you “hide” from GOD can split off and develop lives of their own, controlling you without your realizing it. Open yourself fully to The LORD’S transforming Presence. Let GOD’S brilliant Love-Light search out and destroy hidden fears. This process requires time alone with GOD, as HIS Love soaks into your innermost being. Enjoy GOD’S perfect Love, which expels every trace of fear.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. PSALM 139 : 1 – 4, 23 – 24

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 JOHN 4:18

Prayer: Search me oh Lord. Show me any offensive ways in me. Cleanse me Lord. And let your love soak into my innermost being as I spend time alone with you. Freeing me from all my worries as you take them for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

HOPE is a golden cord connecting you to heaven – ROMANS 12 : 12, 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 8, HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 19

“HOPE is a golden cord connecting you to heaven. This cord helps you hold your head up high, even when multiple trials are buffeting you. GOD never leaves your side, and GOD never lets go of your hand. But without the cord of hope, your head may slump and your feet may shuffle as you journey uphill with The LORD. Hope lifts your perspective from your weary feet to the glorious view you can see from the high road. You are reminded that the road you are traveling together with GOD is ultimately a highway to heaven. When you consider this radiant destination, the roughness or smoothness of the road ahead becomes much less significant. GOD is training you to hold in your heart a dual focus: GOD’S continual Presence and the hope of heaven.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ROMANS 12 : 12

But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 8

God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 19

Prayer: God thank you for the hope of Heaven. Help me to have an eternal perspective this week, remembering what matters most – loving you and loving others. No matter what comes my way this week I am not alone because you are always with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9-11

I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ —for this will bring much glory and praise to God. (‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9-11‬ NLT)

How are you reacting to situations that catch you off guard? Are you being led by a loving God, or by a worldly reaction? We as believers need to strive to be like Jesus in our every moment. Today I pray that we would ask God for the knowledge to fit every reaction and handle them as Christ did…..Be Blessed
