“LOOK TO GOD CONTINUALLY for help, comfort, and companionship. Because GOD is always by your side, the briefest glance can connect you with The LORD. When you look to GOD for help, it flows freely from HIS Presence. This recognition of your need for GOD, in small matters as well as in large ones, keeps you spiritually alive. When you need comfort, The LORD loves to enfold you in HIS arms. GOD enables you not only to feel comforted but also to be a channel through whom HE comforts others. Thus you are doubly blessed, because a living channel absorbs some of whatever flows through it. GOD’S constant Companionship is the pièce de résistance: the summit of salvation blessings. No matter what losses you experience in your life, no one can take away this glorious gift.”

Scripture

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 CORINTHIANS 1 : 3 – 4

Prayer

Prayer: God I’m so grateful for your constant companionship. When I feel alone I know I never am because you are always with me, comforting me. Use me to comfort others today Lord, just as you have comforted me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Life is full of stress! There are so many different things that can bring stress upon us. The main cause of stress is distrust, if you as a Christian are putting your trust in Jesus there should be no stress, if your trust is in things of the world well there you have it. Today’s prayer is that we would all trust in the Lord with our everything, health, finances, daily life. Live your life as Jesus instructed us to live and trust in him……..Be Blessed

“TRY TO STAY CONSCIOUS OF GOD as you go step by step through this day. GOD’S Presence with you is both a promise and a protection. The LORD, JESUS CHRIST’S final statement just before HE ascended into heaven was: “Surely I am with you always”. That promise was for all of The LORD’S followers, without exception. The promise of GOD’S Presence is a powerful protection. As you journey through your life, there are numerous pitfalls along the way. Many voices clamor for your attention, enticing you to go their way. A few steps away from your true path are pits of self-pity and despair, plateaus of pride and self-will. If you take your eyes off GOD and follow another’s way, you are in grave danger. Even well-meaning friends can lead you astray if you let them usurp GOD’S place in your life. The way to stay on the path of Life is to keep your focus on The LORD. Awareness of GOD’S Presence is your best protection.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, I know the path to life is to keep my focus on you. And when I am tempted by my flesh, the world, and the enemy – remind me that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is in me and greater is He within me than the one who is in the world. Keep me close to you today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This has always been one of my favorite scriptures, it’s very simple “put God first in everything”. In the world today we live in a “Me” mentality and I believe that is the cause of the epic failure we see in society. Today’s prayer is simple: put God first in everything you do and He will always be Greater……..Be Blessed

“TAKE TIME TO BE STILL in GOD’S Presence. The more hassled you feel, the more you need this sacred space of communion with GOD. Breathe slowly and deeply. Relax in GOD’S Holy Presence while HIS Face shines upon you. This is how you receive The LORD’S Peace, which GOD always proffers to you. Imagine the pain GOD feels when HIS children tie themselves up in anxious knots, ignoring HIS gift of Peace. JESUS CHRIST, The LORD died a criminal’s death to secure this blessing for you. Receive it gratefully; hide it in your heart. The LORD’S Peace is an inner treasure, growing within you as you trust in HIM. Therefore, circumstances cannot touch it. Be still, enjoying Peace in GOD’S Presence.”

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to make time to be still in your presence. I desperately need this time with you each day so you can fill me with your peace, your promises, and your perspective. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Where do you seek out your refuge? Who do you go to with every situation? The Lord is a strong tower for us and every situation that we have. We can never have too much for God almighty to handle. Today’s prayer is that we would seek our refuge from the Lord, not the world……..Be Blessed

“GOD IS THE CULMINATION of all your hopes and desires. GOD is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last: who is and was and is to come. Before you knew GOD, you expressed your longing for The LORD in hurtful ways. You were ever so vulnerable to the evil around you in the world. But now The LORD’S Presence safely shields you, enfolding you in HIS loving arms. GOD has lifted you out of darkness into HIS marvelous Light. Though GOD has brought many pleasures into your life, not one of them is essential. Receive The LORD’S blessings with open hands. Enjoy GOD’S good gifts, but do not cling to them. Turn your attention to the Giver of all good things, and rest in the knowledge that you are complete in The LORD. The one thing you absolutely need is the one thing you can never lose: GOD’S Presence with you.”

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. JAMES 1 : 17

Prayer

Prayer: God help me to receive your blessings with open hands, yet not holding onto anything tighter than I hold onto you. You are the giver of all good things. Keep my eyes fixed on you this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. Galatians‬ ‭1‬ :‭ 10‬ NLT

Who are you trying to please? Do you value people’s opinions so much that you set aside your faith to fit in? You see so many Christians following the world’s way Monday through Saturday and then on Sunday it’s to follow Jesus. Today I pray that we all would seek the opinion of the Lord in all we do, in all we do try to please the Lord. The opinions of people are temporal, but the Lord’s opinion is for eternity…..Be Blessed

Psalm‬ ‭84 : 10‬

“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭84 : 10‬ ‭

As a believer the personal relationship with the Lord is priceless. This Psalm speaks of spending one day with the Lord rather than a thousand elsewhere. When you have a personal relationship with Jesus and don’t spend time with him in fellowship, prayer would be like not talking to your husband or wife while they’re sitting right next to you, sooner or later the question will come up ” what’s wrong”. Today’s prayer is that we would take every opportunity to have lines of communication with Jesus for he is there waiting…….Be blessed

1 John‬ ‭4 : 16‬

“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4 : 16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

What the world is missing is “True Love” and what is the meaning of true love? True love is the love that God displayed for us by sending His Son, JESUS CHRIST to the cross for all of our sins. True love is to have the heart of a servant, to put others before yourself, to be kind in all circumstances. Today’s prayer is that we all would set aside all of the hustle of the world and slow down enough to recognize what love is and show it to all……Be Blessed
