Remember when you didn’t belong to Jesus? Your life had a very trivial meaning. The life you lived in sin was destined for an eternity of doom!! But now you have a life of eternity in heaven. Relax in GOD’S holy Presence while HIS Face shines upon you. This is how you receive The LORD’S Peace, which GOD always proffer to you. Imagine the pain GOD feels when HIS children tie themselves up in anxious knots, ignoring HIS gift of Peace. The LORD died a criminal’s death to secure this blessing for you. Receive it gratefully; hide it in your heart. GOD’S Peace is an inner treasure, growing within you as you trust in HIM. Therefore, circumstances cannot touch it. Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me to take time to be still in your presence. To breathe deeply and slowly as you fill me with your joy and peace. And as John did at the last supper, may I lay my head on your chest and rest. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It’s so important to not only hear the word but live the word. Day to day life is full of struggle but the promise and solution is there in the word.

BEWARE OF SEEING YOURSELF through other people’s eyes. – HEBREWS 11 : 6, JOHN 4 : 23 – 24

“BEWARE OF SEEING YOURSELF through other people’s eyes. There are several dangers to this practice. First of all, it is nearly impossible to discern what others actually think of you. Moreover, their views of you are variable: subject to each viewer’s spiritual, emotional, and physical condition. The major problem with letting others define you is that it borders on idolatry. Your concern to please others dampens your desire to please GOD, your Creator. It is much more real to see yourself through GOD’S eyes. GOD’s gaze upon you is steady and sure, untainted by sin. Through The LORD’s eyes you can see yourself as one who is deeply, eternally loved. Rest in GOD’s loving gaze, and you will receive deep Peace. Respond to The LORD’s loving Presence by worshiping GOD in spirit and in truth.”

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me to seek your approval above anyone else. Thank you for your steady, deep, eternal love. Help me to rest in you – and receive your deep peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the ways of the world on a daily basis but that is not who we are. This scripture tells us that we once were doomed but now we are saved!!!! Let’s act like it. “GOD IS THE CULMINATION of all your hopes and desires. GOD is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last: who is and was and is to come. Before you knew GOD, you expressed your longing for HIM in hurtful ways. You were ever so vulnerable to the evil around you in the world. But now The LORD’S Presence safely shields you, enfolding you in GOD’S loving arms. The LORD has lifted you out of darkness into HIS marvelous Light. Though GOD has brought many pleasures into your life, not one of them is essential. Receive The LORD’S blessings with open hands. Enjoy GOD’S good gifts, but do not cling to them. Turn your attention to the Giver of all good things, and rest in the knowledge that you are complete in The LORD. Prayer

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your presence with me at all times. You never leave me therefore I am never alone. You are my rock and my salvation. My hope is in you alone. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reality check WE ARE SINNERS!!!!! Even though we are saved we are sinners. To sin is to do something against God, gossip, anger, worry, curse, lie, etc. The Cross redeemed us from damnation but we bring our own condemnation on by these actions !!!! Today’s prayer is that we would all look to the Cross anytime these temptations come upon us and thank Jesus for the freedom we truly have…….. Be Blessed and always look to the Cross

GOD’S Love-Light never dims, yet you are often unaware of HIS radiant Presence. When you project yourself into the future, rehearsing what you will do or say, you are seeking to be self-sufficient: to be adequate without The LORD’S help. This is a subtle sin—so common that it usually slips by unnoticed. The alternative is to live fully in the present, depending on The LORD each moment. Rather than fearing your inadequacy, rejoice in GOD’S abundant supply. Train your mind to seek GOD’s help continually, even when you feel competent to handle something by yourself. Don’t divide your life into things you can do by yourself and things that require The LORD’s help. Instead, learn to rely on GOD in every situation. This discipline will enable you to enjoy life more and to face each day confidently.”

Prayer: Lord, help me to refresh myself in your presence and walk hand in hand with you through the day, depending on you each moment. You are my rock, my shield, my comforter. In you I have all I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
