THANK GOD for the very things that are troubling you. – PSALM 116 : 17, PHILIPPIANS 4 : 4 – 6

“THANK GOD for the very things that are troubling you. You are on the brink of rebellion, precariously close to shaking your fist in GOD’S Face. You are tempted to indulge in just a little complaining about The LORD’S treatment of you. But once you step over that line, torrents of rage and self-pity can sweep you away. The best protection against this indulgence is thanksgiving. It is impossible to thank GOD and curse GOD at the same time. Thanking GOD for trials will feel awkward and contrived at first. But if you persist, your thankful words, prayed in faith, will eventually make a difference in your heart. Thankfulness awakens you to GOD’S Presence, which overshadows all your problems.”

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the LORD. PSALM 116 : 17 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 4 – 6

Prayer: Lord teach me to thank you in the highs and the lows of life. Jesus you told us in this life we will have trouble, but you also promise to use everything for the good of those who love you. So no matter what happens in the future, I will love and trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

““All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.” John‬ ‭16:1-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you ever wonder why as a believer you endure persecution? When you became a Christian were you under the impression that life was going perfect? Well the Bible tells us the complete opposite of that. Jesus said you will be persecuted in my name and that is what will happen in this broken Godless world. Today’s prayer is that we would take joy when we are persecuted in our Lords name!! Jesus is there with us at all times, lean on him and all will be good…….Be Blessed

WAIT PATIENTLY WITH GOD while HE blesses you. – MICAH 7 : 7, REVELATION 1 : 8, NUMBERS 6 : 24 – 26

“WAIT PATIENTLY WITH GOD while HE blesses you. Don’t rush into The LORD’S Presence with time-consciousness gnawing at your mind. GOD dwells in timelessness: GOD is, GOD was, GOD will always be. For you, time is a protection; you’re a frail creature who can handle only twenty-four-hour segments of life. Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to master time, or it will be your master. Though you are a time-bound creature, seek to meet The LORD in timelessness. As you focus on GOD’S Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish. The LORD will bless you and keep you, making HIS Face shine upon you graciously, giving you Peace.”

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. MICAH 7 : 7

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” REVELATION 1 : 8

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” NUMBERS 6 : 24 – 26

Personal Note: Sitting quietly with GOD is something I struggle with at times. Each morning I wake up early to spend time in prayer and The Bible before the demands of this world kick in (family, work, etc ). However there are days when that doesn’t go as planned and it is more difficult to focus on time with GOD. On those days I ask GOD to help me focus on HIM or accept that I need to “put a bookmark” in it and come back when I can give my full attention to GOD.

Prayer: Lord help me not to rush into your presence. To enjoy just sitting with you as you fill me with peace. Thank you for your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“GOD SPEAKS TO YOU CONTINUALLY. GOD’S nature is to communicate, though not always in words. GOD flings glorious sunsets across the sky, day after day after day. The LORD speaks in the faces and voices of loved ones. HE caresses you with a gentle breeze that refreshes and delights you. GOD speaks softly in the depths of your spirit, where HE has taken up residence. You can find The LORD in each moment, when you have eyes that see and ears that hear. Ask GOD’S Holy Spirit to sharpen your spiritual eyesight and hearing. The LORD rejoices each time you discover HIS Presence. Practice looking and listening for GOD during quiet intervals. Gradually you will find The LORD in more and more of your moments. You will seek GOD and find HIM, when you seek GOD above all else.”

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? PSALM 8 : 1 – 4

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. PSALM 19 : 1 – 2

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” JEREMIAH 29 : 13

Prayer: God who am I that you would speak to me continually? Sharpen my spiritual sight and hearing to see and hear you in each moment. Help me to search for you like hidden treasure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. JUDE 24 – 25

No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. JOSHUA 1 : 5

Prayer: Jesus Christ, you are my rock and firm foundation on which I stand, all other rocks are sinking sand. Help me to glorify and enjoy you more than trying to keep a tidy life. In Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

Psalm 68:19

Short and sweet, today I pray that we all would grasp the purpose of the cross and understand that Jesus Christ took and did it all………Be Blessed Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers

There will always be people that come against you for your beliefs but remember that God is always there to give you strength in this time of need. Today’s prayer is that in your times of trials and persecution you would lean on the Lord…..Be Blessed

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:24-30‬

“Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ “ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ “ ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ ”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:24-30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This parable has always ministered to me in an eye opening way. This relates to choice, The choice to believe or not believe. To live among the weeds can be a negative or a positive, if we take the opportunity to witness the Gospel it’s a positive, if we choose to let them affect us then it becomes a negative. Today’s prayer is that we would understand that God leaves the weeds until his time comes, God wants not one to Be lost but all to be saved……. Take the opportunity to witness and Be Blessed
