“Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.” Proverbs 21:21 NLT
Oh to be this way 100% of the time!!! Righteousness is the one trait that defines everlasting, to be righteous is as close as we can be to Jesus. Today’s prayer is that we would pursue righteousness in all we do, say, and are……..Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8 NLT
I believe love is one of the most misunderstood words in the English language!!! Love is known by your actions, by your demeanor, by how people view you. God is love and love for a Christian has to be the same love that Jesus showed to Everyone!!!! Not who you choose. Today’s prayer is that we would love all!!! Yes all whether or not they have wronged you or righted you Love is God……. Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“TRUST GOD with every fiber of your being! What GOD can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on HIM. One aspect of this is the degree to which you trust GOD in a crisis or major decision. Some people fail miserably here, while others are at their best in tough times. Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in The LORD. People who rely on GOD in the midst of adversity may forget about HIM when life is flowing smoothly. Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for GOD, whereas smooth sailing can lull you into the stupor of self-sufficiency. The LORD cares as much about your tiny trust-steps through daily life as about your dramatic leaps of faith. You may think that no one notices, but the One who is always beside you sees everything—and rejoices. Consistently trusting in GOD is vital to flourishing in HIS Presence.”
Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. PSALM 40 : 4
When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? PSALM 56 : 3 – 4
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. PSALM 62 : 8
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. ISAIAH 26 : 3 – 4
Personal Note: I don’t add these often but feel today’s message warrants it. As I’ve grown in my own Trust and Relationship with Christ over the last several years one of the most noticeable, tangible benefits has been a level of personal peace. There are people around me that don’t have a strong relationship with Christ and when things big or small go awry they tend to stress out and “let things get to them”. Thanks to The LORD above and Faith in HIM I’m more able to let things go and pray “Lord I’m letting go and leaving this in your hand” – When life “gets to you” – let go of the stress / worry / issue and turn it over to Christ.
Prayer: God help me to trust You with every fiber of my being. In the big decisions as well as the small. When I do, you promise to keep me in perfect peace despite any circumstance. Thank you for being my constant companion and guide. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14 NASB
Remember when you didn’t belong to Jesus? Your life had a very trivial meaning. The life you lived in sin was destined for an eternity of doom!! But now you have a life of eternity in heaven. Today’s prayer is that we would always give thanks to God for the precious gift that he has given us…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS YOUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH, an ever-present Help in trouble. Therefore, you don’t need to be afraid of anything—not even cataclysmic circumstances. The media are increasingly devoted to fear-inducing subject matter: terrorism, serial killers, environmental catastrophes. If you focus on such dangers and forget that GOD is your Refuge in all circumstances, you will become increasingly fearful. Every day GOD manifests HIS grace in countless places and situations, but the media takes no notice. GOD showers not only blessings but also outright miracles on our planet. As you grow closer to GOD, HE opens your eyes to see more and more of HIS Presence all around you. Things that most people hardly notice, like shifting shades of sunlight, fill you with heart-bursting Joy. You have eyes that see and ears that hear, so proclaim GOD’S abiding Presence in the world. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. PSALM 46 : 1 – 3
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD. PSALM 89 : 15
Prayer: Lord no matter what troubles come my way, it is only temporary. For my light and momentary troubles are molding me to look more and more like Christ. Thank you for being my ever-present refuge and strength on the mountain top and in the valley. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Don’t be afraid, O land. Be glad now and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things.” Joel 2:21 NLT
The condition of the world makes us think there is no hope! But in reality there is nothing but hope, God has done a great work in the land and in us. Today’s prayer is that no matter how bad it looks, remember God has blessed us with all that we need and our great hope is in Jesus…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
“GOD IS PREPARING YOU for what is on the road ahead, just around the bend. Take time to be still in GOD’S Presence so that HE can strengthen you. The busier you become, the more you need this time apart with The LORD. So many people think that time spent with GOD is a luxury they cannot afford. As a result, they live and work in their own strength—until that becomes depleted. Then they either cry out to GOD for help or turn away in bitterness. How much better it is to walk close to The LORD, depending on HIS strength and trusting GOD in every situation. If you live in this way, you will do less but accomplish far more. Your unhurried pace of living will stand out in this rush-crazed age. Some people may deem you lazy, but many more will be blessed by your peacefulness. Walk in the Light with GOD, and you will reflect GOD to the watching world.”
Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him. ISAIAH 64 : 4
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15 : 5
For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. PSALM 36 : 9
Prayer: Lord help me to make time to be still in your presence so that you can strengthen me. Help me to walk slowly enough to experience Jesus fully and love people deeply. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,” Titus 2:11 NASB
Not one of us is different when it comes to the opportunity of receiving salvation. The difference begins when we choose to reject what Christ did on the Cross. Jesus died that day so that all of us could be set free from the bondage and sin that we were born into, the sad truth is that many will reject the opportunity. Today’s prayer is that we would be a living testimony to what our salvation has done and is doing in our lives every single day……Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! Luke 2:11 NLT
Today is not only a day of presents and time with family but most importantly it’s about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Today’s prayer is that we all have a day of peace and joy with our loved ones and reflect on the true meaning of why we celebrate Christmas….. Merry Christmas to all and Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:10-11
From his first hours Jesus was receiving gifts, the greatest gift we can give him is our worship, give him ourselves completely. Today I pray on the eve of our Savior’s birth that we give him our complete worship and thank him for all he has done in our lives…….Be Blessed
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17
