John‬ ‭8 : 7 – 11

“So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭8 : 7 – 11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A lot of Christians say GOD loves me just as I am and this is true, but HE does not love our sin and wants us to change. Today’s prayer is that we would let GOD shape our lives without sin so that we can live a life that is pleasing to HIM in all areas …… Be Blessed

“WHEN YOU ARE PLAGUED by a persistent problem — one that goes on and on — view it as a rich opportunity to trust in GOD. An ongoing problem is like a tutor who is always by your side. The learning possibilities are limited only by your willingness to be teachable. In faith, thank GOD for your problem. Ask The LORD to open your eyes and your heart to all that HE is accomplishing through this difficulty. Once you have become grateful for a problem, it loses its power to drag you down. On the contrary, your thankful attitude will lift you up into heavenly places with GOD. From this perspective, your difficulty can be seen as a slight, temporary distress that is producing for you a transcendent Glory never to cease!”

Scripture

Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” ISAIAH 30 : 20 – 21 

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 17 

Prayer

Prayer: God open my eyes and my heart to see all that you are accomplishing through difficulties in my life. An ongoing problem is like a tutor always by my side. Help me to be open to the lessons you’d want me to learn. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Luke 22 : 31 – 34

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.” Then He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me.” Luke 22 : 31 – 34 NKJV

JESUS CHRIST knew that Peter would deny even knowing him, but JESUS CHRIST also knew that HE would build HIS church using Peter as the main brick. In life, in certain circumstances it’s easy to deny the gospel of JESUS CHRIST, but do not stand down, stand firm in your belief. JESUS CHRIST never stopped loving Peter because of his actions and the same applies to you. Today I pray that the spirit of truth will fill each one with the boldness to witness JESUS CHRIST to all ……….. Be Blessed!!

“COME TO GOD with your gaping emptiness, knowing that in GOD you are complete. As you rest quietly in The LORD’S Presence, HIS Light within you grows brighter and brighter. Facing the emptiness inside you is simply the prelude to being filled with GOD’S fullness. Therefore, rejoice on those days when you drag yourself out of bed, feeling sluggish and inadequate. Tell yourself that this is a perfect day to depend on GOD in childlike trust. If you persevere in this dependence as you go through the day, you will discover at bedtime that Joy and Peace have become your companions. You may not realize at what point they joined you on your journey, but you will feel the beneficial effects of their presence. The perfect end to such a day is a doxology of gratitude. GOD is HE from whom all blessings flow!”

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. . . . Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” MATTHEW 5 : 3,6

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. COLOSSIANS 2 : 9 – 10

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. PSALM 150 : 6

Prayer

Prayer: Lord, in this busy Christmas season, help me intentionally make time to rest quietly in Your presence. On the days I feel depleted or lacking, remind me that this is the perfect day to depend fully on You with childlike trust. And as I do, may joy and peace walk beside me as faithful companions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬ :‭ 9‬ ‭NIV

First instinct to get mad right? To plot revenge? This scripture is clear on how we should be, repay evil with a blessing. This is a hard one to swallow right? Today’s prayer is we would all respond in the way of Jesus Christ! Calm, cool, collective , Be Blessed

“GOD IS SPEAKING in the depths of your being. Be still, so that you can hear GOD’S voice. GOD speaks in the language of Love; HIS words fill you with Life and Peace, Joy and hope. GOD desires to talk with all of HIS children, but many are too busy to listen. The “work ethic” has them tied up in knots. They submit wholeheartedly to this taskmaster, wondering why they feel so distant from The LORD. Living close to GOD requires making The LORD your First Love— your highest priority. As you seek The LORD’S Presence above all else, you experience Peace and Joy in full measure. GOD also is blessed when you make HIM first in your life. While you journey through life in GOD’S Presence, The LORD’S Glory brightens the world around you.”

The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. ISAIAH 50 : 4 

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. REVELATION 2 : 4 

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. ISAIAH 60 : 2

Prayer

Prayer: Lord don’t let my work ethic get in the way of spending time with you and making space to love others. Help me to first spend time with you so you can fill me with love, joy, peace and hope so I can be fully equipped to share it with others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18 : 12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you on top of the world? Is life the best it’s ever been for you? Careful that’s when the enemy will come against you the hardest in my opinion. This proverb speaks of being haughty and humble, which are you? Today’s prayer is that we all would humble ourselves at the foot of our blessings and always stand guard against haughtiness for that will bring destruction ……. Be Blessed and Be Humble

YOUR LONGING FOR HEAVEN IS GOOD, because it is an extension of your yearning for GOD | ROMANS 8 : 23 – 25, HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 20, ROMANS 15 : 13

“YOUR LONGING FOR HEAVEN IS GOOD, because it is an extension of your yearning for GOD. The hope of heaven is meant to strengthen and encourage you, filling you with wondrous Joy. Many Christians have misunderstood this word hope, believing that it denotes wishful thinking. Nothing could be farther from the truth! As soon as The LORD, JESUS CHRIST became your Savior, heaven became your ultimate destination. The phrase hope of heaven highlights the benefits you can enjoy even while remaining on earth. This hope keeps you spiritually alive during dark times of adversity; it brightens your path and heightens your awareness of GOD’S Presence. GOD’S desire is that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Scripture

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. ROMANS 8 : 23 – 25 

God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. HEBREWS 6 : 18 – 20 

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ROMANS 15 : 13

Prayers

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the hope of heaven that keeps my heart anchored in You. Let that sure hope strengthen me in hard moments and fill me with joy as I walk with You today. By Your Spirit, help me overflow with hope and be more aware of Your nearness. Amen.

JESUS CHRIST said HE gave us perfect unity so that our witness will be different from the world, how is your witness working out? Do you respond to situations like someone who doesn’t know JESUS CHRIST? Or do you respond to the values of the promise HE gave us? Today I pray that our responses would be filled with faith and on the foundation of GOD’S living word and promise ….. Be Blessed

“GOD IS TAKING CARE OF YOU. Feel the warmth and security of being enveloped in GOD’S loving Presence. Every detail of your life is under HIS control. Moreover, everything fits into a pattern for good, to those who love The LORD and are called according to HIS design and purpose. Because the world is in an abnormal, fallen condition, people tend to think that chance governs the universe. Events may seem to occur randomly, with little or no meaning. People who view the world this way have overlooked one basic fact: the limitations of human understanding. What you know of the world you inhabit is only the tip of the iceberg. Submerged beneath the surface of the visible world are mysteries too vast for you to comprehend. If you could only see how close GOD is to you and how constantly GOD works on your behalf, you would never again doubt that GOD is wonderfully caring for you. This is why you must live by faith, not by sight; trusting in The LORD’S mysterious, majestic Presence.”

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28

Then Job replied to the LORD : “I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted. You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.” JOB 42 : 1 – 3 

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 PETER 5 : 7

Prayer

Prayer: Lord help me to see and feel how close you are and how you are constantly working for my good and for your glory. Thank you for giving me three best friends with me at all times – God the Father, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. Help me to rely more on you more today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
