Do you ever feel like your work for the Lord is all for nothing? Do you feel like you’re not reaching anyone? This scripture tells us that all of our witnesses are reaching and will reach the people. We will probably never know what impact we may have had on someone, but the Lord knows. Are you Blessed? Are you blessing others? Abraham was told by God I will bless you and you shall be a Blessing. God was telling him don’t just take your blessings and keep them all to yourself, have you ever been in a situation where you didn’t know how it was going to work out and then all of a sudden the solution shows up? If you’re a blessing to others the blessings will show up in return. Don’t give blessings in expectation of reward!!! Just know that God is a God of His word. Today I pray that we would all remember our blessings and be thankful, in return when you see someone in need return the blessing and give thanks that God has given you the means to bless someone………”Be Blessed & Be A Blessing”

THANKFULNESS takes the sting out of adversity. – EPHESIANS 5 : 20, PSALM 118 : 1, PSALM 89 : 15

“THANKFULNESS takes the sting out of adversity. That is why GOD has instructed you to give thanks for everything. There is an element of mystery in this transaction: You give GOD thanks (regardless of your feelings), and GOD gives you Joy (regardless of your circumstances). This is a spiritual act of obedience—at times, blind obedience. To people who don’t know The LORD intimately, it can seem irrational and even impossible to thank GOD for heartrending hardships. Nonetheless, those who obey The LORD in this way are invariably blessed, even though difficulties may remain. Thankfulness opens your heart to GOD’S Presence and your mind to GOD’S thoughts. You may still be in the same place, with the same set of circumstances, but it is as if a light has been switched on, enabling you to see from The LORD’S perspective. It is this Light of GOD’S Presence that removes the sting from adversity.”

Prayer: God as I give you thanks regardless of my circumstances, open my heart to your presence and my mind to your thoughts. Remove the sting from adversity as my eyes are fixed on you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do you vent about everything? Or do you take it to the Lord? This proverb calls venting foolish, but to hold the feelings back is wise. Today’s prayer is that we would not vent! “AS YOU SIT QUIETLY IN GOD”S PRESENCE, let GOD fill your heart and mind with thankfulness. This is the most direct way to achieve a thankful stance. If your mind needs a focal point, gaze at JESUS CHRIST, The LORD’S Love poured out for you on the cross. Remember that nothing in heaven or on earth can separate you from that Love. This remembrance builds a foundation of gratitude in you, a foundation that circumstances cannot shake. As you go through this day, look for tiny treasures strategically placed along the way. GOD lovingly goes before you and plants little pleasures to brighten your day. Look carefully for them, and pluck them one by one. When you reach the end of the day, you will have gathered a lovely bouquet. Offer it up to The LORD with a grateful heart. Receive GOD’S Peace as you lie down to sleep, with thankful thoughts playing a lullaby in your mind.”

Prayer: Lord as I sit quietly with you, fill my mind with thankfulness. Open my eyes to see the big and small blessings you have placed in my life today. And when my mind needs a place to focus, remind me to focus on Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:4‬

The world can just straight out kick your butt!!! But will you let it? This scripture tells us that greater is Jesus that is in us than Satan who is in the world. Day by day can be rough but we have to confess this scripture when the trials arise. Moreover, as you look up with a grateful heart, you get glimpses of Glory through those windows. You cannot yet live in heaven, but you can experience foretastes of your ultimate home. Such samples of heavenly fare revive your hope. Thankfulness opens you up to these experiences, which then provide further reasons to be grateful. Thus, your path becomes an upward spiral: ever increasing in gladness. Thankfulness is not some sort of magic formula; it is the language of Love, which enables you to communicate intimately with GOD. A thankful mind-set does not entail a denial of reality with its plethora of problems. Instead, it rejoices in The LORD JESUS CHRIST, your Savior, in the midst of trials and tribulations. The LORD is your refuge and strength, an ever-present and well-proved help in trouble.”

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. PSALM 46 : 1
