Matthew 6:31-34

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:31-34 NIV

How many times in a day do we worry about trivial things? This scripture talks about seeking the kingdom, I think so many times we seek the worldly things and that is where the spirit of fear comes in. Today I pray that we all would rest in the finished works of Jesus and know that he did it all at Calvary!!!!! He wants us to live a life of completeness, not a life of defeat……….Be Blessed

“LET THANKFULNESS TEMPER ALL YOUR THOUGHTS. A thankful mind-set keeps you in touch with GOD. The LORD hates it when HIS children grumble, casually despising HIS sovereignty. Thankfulness is a safeguard against this deadly sin. Furthermore, a grateful attitude becomes a grid through which you perceive life. Gratitude enables you to see the Light of GOD’S Presence shining on all your circumstances. Cultivate a thankful heart, for this glorifies GOD and fills you with Joy.”

And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel. 1 CORINTHIANS 10 : 10

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” HEBREWS 12 : 28 – 29

Prayer: Lord thank you for reminding me how important practicing gratitude is and taking inventory of my heart and thoughts. When a thought doesn’t align with your word, help me to recognize it, and take it captive by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:3-13

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:3-13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

News flash: Meek does not mean weak!!!!!! This Psalm lays out the foundation for our lives!!!! Don’t get mad!!!! Don’t let the wrath take you over!!!! The world views the meek as weak, but God views the meek as Children of God!!!! Today’s prayer is that we would all trust in his way and know that the world will throw us nasty curve balls but like the major leaguers take the pitch !!!!! Be Blessed

As you relax more and more, your grasping hand gradually opens up, releasing your prized possession into The LORD’S care. You can feel secure, even in the midst of cataclysmic changes, through awareness of GOD’S continual Presence. The One who never leaves you is the same One who never changes: GOD is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As you release more and more things into GOD’S care, remember that The LORD never lets go of your hand. Therein lies your security, which no one and no circumstance can take from you.”

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. HEBREWS 13 : 8

“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” ISAIAH 41 : 13

Prayer: God, You give me so many precious promises. There is such comfort in knowing you never change, and you never leave me. Help me to spend time in your presence, resting and releasing loved ones, work, and worries into your care. They were yours 1st anyways. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What are you waiting for? What are you hoping for? This scripture tells us that the Bible is to teach us and give us hope in God’s promise. The world today is in a condition that the Bible told us it would be, a MESS!!!! Prayer: Lord, I trust every detail of my life to you. Thank you every time you respond so precisely to my prayer. I come to you with open hands and open heart, ready to receive all you have for me today. For your glory and my good. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. PSALM 9 : 10

Prayer: Lord teach me to trust and thank you throughout the day. Every good thing comes from you so there is much to be grateful for. Gently remind me when I start to plan and evaluate without including you, to bring you into my plan, and instead, surrender my plan to your plan which is far better. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your favorite possession that you have belongs to you, you take care of it, clean it, shine it, etc. How much more does God care for us? He takes care of us, he has cleaned us of all our sin, and we shine in his presence even in our dulled moments!!!! Today’s prayer is when trials come against us we lean into God not away from him and thank him for all he has done, is doing, and will do…..Be Blessed
