DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED by the difficulty of keeping your focus on GOD. – ROMANS 8 : 33 – 34, HEBREWS 4 : 14 – 16

“DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED by the difficulty of keeping your focus on GOD. GOD knows that your heart’s desire is to be aware of HIS Presence continually. This is a lofty goal; you aim toward it but never fully achieve it in this life. Don’t let feelings of failure weigh you down. Instead, try to see yourself as GOD sees you. First of all, The LORD is delighted by your deep desire to walk closely with HIM through your life. GOD is pleased each time you initiate communication with HIM. In addition, GOD notices the progress you have made since you first resolved to live in HIS Presence. When you realize that your mind has wandered away from GOD, don’t be alarmed or surprised. You live in a world that has been rigged to distract you. Each time you plow your way through the massive distractions to communicate with GOD, you achieve a victory. Rejoice in these tiny triumphs, and they will increasingly light up your days.”

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. ROMANS 8 : 33 – 34

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. HEBREWS 4 : 14 – 16

Prayer: God thank you for your abundant grace and mercy. You promise your mercies are new every morning. Thank you that your word is less about “don’t sin” and more about “come walk with me, spend time with me, and I’ll help you with the rest.” Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1-6‬

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1-6‬ NLT

Are you praying for someone you love? Are you praying for a casual friend? Are you praying for someone with a different belief other than Jesus? Are you praying for the leaders of the world? All of these should be on the prayer list. Paul was in prison in Rome yet he says pray for all because there is one God for all. Today I pray that we would all put aside any thought that someone does not need prayer, don’t just pray for friends and loved ones, pray for the non believer and the nations………Be Blessed

Worry,Worry,Worry, sound familiar? Do you worry about everything? Are you always concerned about every situation? God’s promise is to equip us with Grace for all situations, in our weakness that is where God shows up the strongest. Today I pray that we would put all our trust in God and see through the worry to the solution Jesus!!!! The Rock……Be Blessed

Do you ever feel unworthy? Ever wonder if you’re good enough? Well you can be assured by man’s standards you will probably never be good enough, but by God Almighty’s standard you are perfect. Today’s prayer is that we would live to please God !! Live by Gods example….. Be Blessed

“LINGER IN GOD’S PRESENCE A WHILE. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with GOD is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in GOD’S Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. Only GOD knows what will happen to you on this day. HE has arranged the events you will encounter as you go along your way. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with GOD while HE readies you for action.”

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. EPHESIANS 2 : 10

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. HEBREWS 12 : 3

Prayer: Lord help me to linger in your presence for a while. Reining in my impulse to plunge into my to do list. Help me to begin my day alone with you, letting you fill me with your peace and joy and strength to do your will today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm‬ ‭130:3-4‬

“If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” Psalm‬ ‭130:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Isn’t it nice to know that the Lord keeps no record of our sin, can you imagine if he did? We would be in a world of trouble. Today’s prayer is that we would walk in obedience to the Lord and his ways, never take advantage of the cross, but take the time daily to thank God for the cross……Be Blessed

DO NOT EXPECT to be treated fairly in this life. – COLOSSIANS 3 : 13, ISAIAH 61 : 10, EPHESIANS 1 : 7 – 8, ROMANS 5 : 5

“DO NOT EXPECT to be treated fairly in this life. People will say and do hurtful things to you, things that you don’t deserve. When someone mistreats you, try to view it as an opportunity to grow in grace. See how quickly you can forgive the one who has wounded you. Don’t be concerned about setting the record straight. Instead of obsessing about other people’s opinions of you, keep your focus on GOD. Ultimately, it is GOD’S view of you that counts. As you concentrate on relating to GOD, remember that HE has clothed you in HIS righteousness and holiness. Christ The LORD sees you attired in these radiant garments, which Christ bought for you with HIS blood. This also is not fair; it is pure gift. When others treat you unfairly, remember that The LORD’S ways with you are much better than fair. GOD’S ways are Peace and Love, which HE has poured out into your heart by HIS Holy Spirit.”

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. COLOSSIANS 3 : 13

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. ISAIAH 61 : 10

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. EPHESIANS 1 : 7 – 8

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. ROMANS 5 : 5

Prayer: Lord when I am treated unfairly, help me to see it as an opportunity to grow in grace. And to remember how unfair you were treated on the cross. You did that for me. Thank you Jesus. I am eternally grateful. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭16-17‬

We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? ‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭16-17‬ NLT

It’s hard to wrap your arms around God’s love for us, after all we have done in our lives that he still calls us children, blows me away still. This scripture talks about doing for others, helping, when you see someone in need do you help or just turn a blind eye ? Today I pray that we would all show the love of Jesus to all, friends, enemies and strangers….Be Blessed

“AS YOU BECOME increasingly aware of GOD’S Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. This is one of the practical benefits of living close to GOD. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if . . . or when . . ., you can concentrate on staying in communication with GOD. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, The LORD will show you which direction to go. Many people are so preoccupied with future plans and decisions that they fail to see choices they need to make today. Without any conscious awareness, they make their habitual responses. People who live this way find a dullness creeping into their lives. They sleepwalk through their days, following well-worn paths of routine. GOD, the Creator of the universe, is the most creative Being imaginable. GOD will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, GOD will lead you along fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with GOD. Follow HIS guiding Presence.”

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. PSALM 32 : 8

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. GENESIS 1 : 1

Prayer: Lord I’m so thankful you are the most creative being imaginable. So when I don’t see a way out or a way through a trial, that’s okay. I can ask You to show me step by step which way to go. It is always an adventure with you Lord. I love you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 John 1:5-7

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7 NKJV

It is so important as Christians to let our light shine, it is so easy when trials arise to shut the light off and let the dark show and that is exactly what the devil wants. To have true fellowship with The Lord is defined by our actions, remember non believers and some believers are watching what we do under the gun. Today I pray that we all will let our light shine to the glory of God, for he created light and he is light………..Be Blessed
