Daily Devotional Video 5/12/2020 – EXODUS 33 : 14, MATTHEW 11 : 28 – 29

“LEARN TO RELATE to others through GOD’S Love rather than yours. Your human love is ever so limited, full of flaws and manipulation. GOD’S loving Presence, which always enfolds you, is available to bless others as well as you. Instead of trying harder to help people through your own paltry supplies, become aware of GOD’S unlimited supply, which is accessible to you continually. Let The LORD’S Love envelop your outreach to other people. Many of GOD’S precious children have fallen prey to burnout. A better description of their condition might be “drainout.” Countless interactions with needy people have drained them, without their conscious awareness. You are among these weary ones, who are like wounded soldiers needing R&R. Take time to rest in the Love-Light of The LORD’S Presence. GOD will gradually restore to you the energy that you have lost over the years. Come to GOD, all you who are weary and burdened, and you will find rest for your souls.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” EXODUS 33 : 14

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” MATTHEW 11 : 28 – 29

Prayer: God thank you for always providing rest for me when I need it. You are a good good Father and I’m so grateful to be your child. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:18-21‬

““The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save his people.” Jesus rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. All the people in the synagogue had their eyes fixed on him, as he said to them, “This passage of scripture has come true today, as you heard it being read.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:18-21‬ ‭GNT‬‬

This bit of scripture speaks right to my heart, Jesus stood in the synagogue and outright told them all he was the Messiah. The ones who believed followed, but the others called him a blasphemer. In the world today times have not changed, there are those who follow, and those who say Jesus is a fairytale. Today’s prayer is that we would witness to the world that Jesus is alive!!!! He is still healing, He is still setting the captive free, He is still the Messiah and will reign forever……..Be Blessed

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

Daily Devotional Video 5/11/2020 – PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 , JOHN 14 : 27

“THANK GOD FOR YOUR PROBLEMS. As soon as your mind gets snagged on a difficulty, bring it to GOD with thanksgiving. Then ask The LORD to show you HIS way to handle the situation. The very act of thanking GOD releases your mind from its negative focus. As you turn your attention to GOD, the problem fades in significance and loses its power to trip you up. Together GOD and you can deal with the situation, either facing it head-on or putting it aside for later consideration. Most of the situations that entangle your mind are not today’s concerns; you have borrowed them from tomorrow. In this case, GOD lifts the problem out of today and deposit it in the future, where it is veiled from your eyes. In its place GOD gives you HIS Peace, which flows freely from GOD’S Presence.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” JOHN 14 : 27

Prayer: God when problems arise help me to see them from the lens of what I know. You are good and therefore there must be a purpose in each problem. Help me to find the unexpected miracles along the rough paths of life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proverbs‬ ‭31:28-29‬

“Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!”” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:28-29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

A Mother is the most caring person in the world! She will nurture, care for, correct, and always love you. This scripture is dead on. Today’s prayer on Mother’s Day is we would bless and praise our Moms for all they do….. Happy Mother’s Day too all the Mothers out there.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭2

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭2‬ NLT)

Gods word is never void!! His promises endure forever!! So when things get rough stand on his promise. Today I pray we would all remember his word during times of trial……Be Blessed

Daily Devotional Video 5/8/2020 – JOHN 16 : 33, ISAIAH 41 : 13, PHILIPPIANS 4 : 13

“DO NOT LONG for the absence of problems in your life. That is an unrealistic goal, since in this world you will have trouble. You have an eternity of problem-free living reserved for you in heaven. Rejoice in that inheritance, which no one can take away from you, but do not seek your heaven on earth. Begin each day anticipating problems, asking GOD to equip you for whatever difficulties you will encounter. The best equipping is GOD’S living Presence, GOD’S hand that never lets go of yours. Discuss everything with The LORD. Take a light hearted view of trouble, seeing it as a challenge that you and GOD together can handle. Remember that The LORD is on your side, and HE has overcome the world.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16 : 33

“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” ISAIAH 41 : 13

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 13

Prayer: God thank you for your perfect plan. You have placed in me a deep desire for a problem free life because that’s the way Heaven is – my true home. But in the meantime help me to see every problem as an opportunity to learn to surrender to you, to depend on you more. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 5/7/2020 – GENESIS 50 : 20, PSALM 23 : 4

“IF YOU LEARN TO TRUST GOD—really trust GOD—with your whole being, then nothing can separate you from GOD’S Peace. Everything you endure can be put to good use by allowing it to train you in trusting The LORD. This is how you foil the works of evil, growing in grace through the very adversity that was meant to harm you. Joseph was a prime example of this divine reversal, declaring to his brothers: “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” Do not fear what this day, or any day, may bring your way. Concentrate on trusting GOD and on doing what needs to be done. Relax in GOD’S sovereignty, remembering that The LORD goes before you, as well as with you, into each day. Fear no evil, for GOD can bring good out of every situation you will ever encounter.” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. GENESIS 50 : 20 (NKJV)

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. PSALM 23 : 4

Prayer: God help me to see every circumstance as a way to continue to train me to trust you. A daily exercise growing my trust muscle. Help me to relax in your sovereignty, remembering that you go before me and are with me each moment. You promise to use everything for the good of those who love you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daily Devotional Video 5/6/2020 – ISAIAH 26 : 3, 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18

“DO NOT SEARCH FOR SECURITY in the world you inhabit. You tend to make mental check-lists of things you need to do in order to gain control of your life. If only you could check everything off your list, you could relax and be at peace. But the more you work to accomplish that goal, the more things crop up on your list. The harder you try, the more frustrated you become. There is a better way to find security in this life. Instead of scrutinizing your check-list, focus your attention on GOD’S Presence with you. This continual contact with The LORD will keep you in HIS Peace. Moreover, GOD will help you sort out what is important and what is not, what needs to be done now and what does not. Fix your eyes not on what is seen (your circumstances), but on what is unseen (GOD’S Presence).” para-phrased – “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. ISAIAH 26 : 3 (NKJV)

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4 : 18

Prayer: God help me to focus my attention on your presence with me. Attune my heart to discern what is important and what can wait to do. Help me to fix my eyes on eternal things today – You, Your Word, and People. The only 3 things that are eternal. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
